The person that was supposed to check us in was too busy talking about non-hotel business with other people for 10 minutes before checking me in and then while checking me in, continued to talk to one of the guest, as if I wasn’t even there. I also had problems with both elevators dropping while me and my children are in the elevator and this is a very frightening experience to feel like the elevator is going to crash. The first elevator that I was in, felt like it dropped an inch or two the second one felt like it dropped about 6 inches and made a loud crashing sound.

Very clean very friendly staff and thanks for the shuttle to the airport.

The airport shuttle took a while to arrive after calling the hotel. Once I checked in, the room I was given had not been cleaned. Had to go back to the front desk for a new room after traveling more than 12 hours.

The room was exceptionally clean, well cared for, and much better stocked than the 4 star Marriott we stayed at the week before. The front desk was excellent and friendly. The breakfast in the morning was very good especially for a buffet and the kids enjoyed all the amenities. The only complaints I had were the pool was closed for maintenance and our kids were really looking forward to swimming, so that was a bummer, and the shower in our room took a good 10 minutes to even get to lukewarm temperate with the handle turned all the way up.

Pool was great warm temperature and breakfast was good.

We really enjoyed our stay, the rooms were consistent with other Home2 properties we have stayed at, and the gym was excellent condition, parking was never an issue, and access to the highways and downtown was easy. If there was any drawback to this particular location, it was that some of the days the egg options at breakfast included meat, so sometimes the only vegetarian option (other than things like waffles and oatmeal) was hard boiled eggs

The hotel itself and my room were fine. However, I'm ticked that the staff at check-in didn't tell me there would be a nightly charge for parking in their uncovered lot. Apparently, the fee is mentioned on the tiny slip of paper that's included with the room key. The fee was nominal, but it's the principle. I consider the hotel's failure to adequately disclose the fee to be very deceptive. I won't stay at a hotel again that isn't fully transparent about its fees. I was told to pound sand when I contacted the hotel about the fee.

We chose this location because of the shuttles to the airport. However, if you need to leave really early, the shuttle may not be operating at that time. We had a big and comfortable room. Would recommend this hotel location.

Mike checked us in and he was great. We were exhausted after a long day of travel and he made us feel welcome. We love the room and how much space we had. We will stay here the next time we are in town. Very convenient and close to the airport. The only negative I have is that the parking spaces are too small making it difficult to get in and out if your vehicle when you park. The parking spaces are for compact cars and most of the vehicles there were trucks and SUV’s.

There were no parking spots left when we checked in, and were told to “squeeze in where we could” or to park on the side of the hotel in a fire lane. One of the trash cans in our room still had trash in it, including old food and beer bottles, and it smelled unpleasant.

Our stay was great. They had great breakfast options. The staff was friendly and the hotel and rooms were very clean.

Nice remodel but the room was dirty. Surfaced has prints, grease, and even food residue. Hair in bathroom and on bed. Sad to say this newer remodeled property sucks due to being unclean.

Very clean, quiet, soundproof rooms. Definitely the best place to stay by far.

Pros pool, nice breakfast, comfortable entryway. Cons the bathroom in 401 smell like a sewage gas.

It was a nice hotel . The bed was too firm but the room was very spacious. I enjoyed my stay.

The amenities in the room were great - nice kitchenette. Everything was great except the floors are not sound proof so I could hear every step of the occupant above my room which would make my dog growl. Not so great when they are constantly walking around till 1am…which meant I was up till 1am as well.

We love the size of the rooms, the comfort, the cleanliness and having a kitchen. The stay was enjoyable.

The room was very nice and so was checking in the big problem was how loud the air conditioning unit was in the room. Couldn’t sleep all night because of it.

The original room had a door that was not working, but they changed us out pretty quick. The front desk team seemed to struggle getting our 2 separate reservations linked and I had to wait a long time for them to get it resolved. This made me late for my appointment that first morning.

Excellent customer service my check in was nice and I was able to get to my room a few hours before the set time of 3 pm. The King size bed was very comfortable and the pull out bed from the couch was also surprisingly comfortable too. The breakfast was nice and the staff did a great job keeping the food available since there were a lot of guests. Overall I highly recommend this hotel and knowing that they have a shuttle to the airport was a nice touch. I look forward to my next visit.

All Staff members were kind and helpful. The hotel in and outside was very. Happy with breakfast. Our room & bath were very clean and bed & pillows comfortable! Thanks to all for an excellent experience! Celeste

The person who checked us on went above and beyond to meet our needs. She did a great job.

First off I drove in with my family from Nevada. We were driving over 8 hours. We arrived around 1:15am very tired and ready to check in a head to bed. As we walk in we see Marlin at the front desk. He was already giving us looks as soon as we pass your front sliding door, not your second sliding, yes that fast he was already with his attitude. As my wife and I get up to the counter. He ask for my ID and I give it to him. Then he ask for the credit card for any incidents. I slide it and I asked did he know what what floor we were on because my wife cannot ride elevators. He responded so sharp and ugly and told us he doesn't know. We were in shock by this attitude. I asked who would could possibly know because he was the only in there. He has so much attitude and was unprofessional to the point he gave me and my wife the vibes that he was racist against us by just looking at us. This kind of man doesn't need to be at any front desk in this case. This was my second Home2 stay in just a week. We were in California at your Disneyland location and didn't have that kind of service for any reason. This man made us feel so ugly and we had no other option at this time to pick another hotel. Because at this time motel 6 would of been a better pick. I would like to some kind of response because this isn't no way a customer should feel in any hotel. Thank you!

Seemed to be mix ups with hotel auditor who erased our 2nd day stay therefore our room was shown as available for other guests when in reality we were already booked for that room. Housekeepers walking in thinking it was unoccupied, maintenance showing up to help with lock issues we didn't have bc other guests wete given keys to our room bc system said it was vacant by auditor. Upset other guests bc they didn't have a room bc of double booking therefore they were loud, rude and disruptive. I made my reservation for 2 nights at close to $500. Definitely be talking to manager. Not a good stay bc of someone's errors.

The staff were extremely friendly and so helpful. This is the first time staying in Albuquerque and I would definitely come back to the same hotel. I couldn’t get over how amazing the staff were. I’m extremely pleased

We had a nice stay at the Home2 Suites by the airport. I think this is the perfect hotel for a layover as it is very convenient to the airport. Our room was large, comfortable and clean as expected from Home2 Suites. I usually reserve 5 stars for hotels with more character but this hotel was perfect for our needs. Of note, we were charged twice by mistake, but the staff was very apologetic and quick to fix the error.

They waived the fee for the overstay, and thankfully, we were able to extend the stay one more night. Breakfast food was just ok, egg was a little weird, shaped like a pancake. The rest was adequate.

Restrooms didnt work and instead of providing us with new room right away, they made us wait for 2 hours till they tried to fix it. It was not done in a nice way. Location is not good. Downtown is much better and closer to food options.

Our cross country flight was unexpectedly diverted due to weather to Albuquerque. We had to make a last minute overnight stay and chose this property. Convenience to airport was great and hotel staff was super friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed the comfortable room. Breakfast was fairly ordinary. The water for tea was lukewarm-- very disappointing. I had to take my tea to our room and heat it in the microwave. It isn't rocket science to kerp water hot for tea.
