When we arrived at hotel, we were told the elevator was out and the only rooms available were on the 2nd floor. We were starting a 2 week trip so hauling all our luggage up the stairs was a chore. The rooms were OK but could definitely use an update. The breakfast was good for that type of thing.

Well prepared for HTH riders. Cooler with water in lobby. Great breakfast and opened early on ride am. Location isn’t the best - adjacent fenced tear down and a bit isolated. And no pool, which would have been much desired after HTH ride. Pleasant staff and solid place to stay overall.

The elevator didn’t work and it looks like it’s staying that way for awhile. They offer me a refund for the inconvenience of that. We stayed on the 2nd floor. Saw a few ants on desk and one bed. Breakfast was good. Close to everything

Bottom line: why stay here when you have 50 options in the area and probably 90% are better?. A lot of issues can be helped by a proactive management that will go out of their way keep the customer satisfied despite some problems. Not here. The daytime manager was smug to the point of rude, indifferent as if the problems were our fault and only reluctantly would he accept responsibility and do anything to solve any issue. One person? Sunny? was very helpful and apologetic and did his best always. The other guy was an annoying condescending jerk. Great way to greet new guests. When we told him we had bed bugs, he didn't believe us and after we left he went to the room so he could accuse us and say there weren't any. Huh? We have videos and photos. Never in my life have i had bedbugs even in dives I'd stay in while vagabonding across EUROPE on $5/day. Let's see. Want to exercise in their 15x15 gym. Well, bring a jump rope because 3 of the 4 main machines were broken and no attention to repairs made. Internet in room. Free! Too bad it doesn't work. Cleaning the room? Two days we opted not to clean it, 2 days we would have liked it clean..but they must have forgot. Almost forgot about cockroaches in the bathroom. Hey- they don't bite, just freak you out at 3 AM. Then a minor issue with the dead gecko on the floor for 5 days. . Food..marginal. very. But! Car wasn't broken into! There was hot water! Free curry smell in the hall but no free food.. That's it. 50 other options wait

Nice and staff is very friendly. My only complaint is the ramp to get in and out of the hotel. Its a little steep so if you drive quikly up or down your going to scrape the bottom bumper. I had to drive diagonal to get in and out.

They need to fix the huge slope going into property car would easily bottom out at entrance. Other than it's hard to get in parking area everything else is great

The room was never cleaned, even when the sign was taken off. Ran out of towels and everything else and had to go ask for towels. Never had a coffee. Cover looked like it hadn’t been changed.

When we arrived in the room the bathroom at 2 roaches running on the floor. Killed those then went to lay down in the bed. Moved the pillow and there were black hairs all over the bed. Even under the fitted sheet. Told the desk clerk and he brought a flat sheet to put over the dirty sheets. I asked for all clean sheets so that I could just make the bed myself.

Unfortunately, the room was not very clean. Multiple hairs found in the bathroom. It just looked like cleanliness standards were not being kept up. Also, the towels were very rough and scratchy. For the price, I don’t expect luxury, but I do expect the basics and this is not me unacceptable standard.

Crickets and dead bugs in room. Was given a different room. Floor was wet. They came and cleaned it up with towels. Floors were not cleaned. There was actually a quarter on the floor in the bathroom that was not ours. Bugs and dirt behind bathroom door. Hair in shower and moldy shower curtain. Room smelled. Employees were polite breakfast was good. Property is run down. Carpets in stairwells and halls very dirty. Bed was comfortable. Would not stay again. Not a good part of town either. Thought Best Western would have higher standards but I think they let anyone use the name as long as they collect royalties.

It’s a nice cheap stay, but the walls are paper thin. We could literally hear the room next to us brushing their teeth. So many noises woke us up multiple times throughout the night. And the beds are Flinstone firm.

The guy at the front desk was very friendly at check in and check out. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. My only issue was the a/c unit. It blows right in your face when you’re sleeping. It was hot in the room so we had to have it on for a minute.

Staff member Jason was super! Room was good, bed was comfortable. The elevator area -especially the door area at the floor was very dirty. Wall in the hallway needed some touch up. The carpet in the room was in need of a deep cleaning. Parking was easy and the work out area was good. The only annoyance was a train blowing its horn several times in the night. Price was fair and I would stay there again.

I was arriving into Wichita Falls and had a 12 PM conference call. Jason at the front desk was very nice and accommodating by finding me a room prior to check in time so that I could be on my conference call in time.

first time i have been asked to leave the property after i’ve checked out. i requested to just stay in lobby for 2hrs but the refused and asked me to leave and to think we checkedin so late like 1am. what has happened to being considerate to customers. it was not like im consuming personal AC, was only at a commong guest area/space. will not stay here again due to bad service and inconsiderate.

The door to the room would not close completely by itself you had to push it. The shower leaked all over the floor making it very slick. The main problem was the person at check in wanted incidental to be paid in cash. That needs to be stated in the app since all hotels I have stayed at always put it on your card.

I recently stayed at the Best Western in Wichita Falls, Texas, and it was an excellent experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The rooms were nicely updated, clean, and very comfortable. I couldn't have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended!

Staff were kind and room was mostly clean. It's in a sort of sketchy place. If you have a pet/service dog, there's not really anywhere safe for them to go to the bathroom, there are lots of dogs barking and trying to break through a fence on the backside of the hotel property. Other than that it was a good stay!

Location was convenient for a softball trip but rough area. Swat team was raiding house directly behind hotel st 8am. Beds were not comfortable. Room was not cleaned in 3 days "due to lack of staff".. was not worth over 100$ a night.

I booked this room via Expedia for a quick trip to Wichita Falls. It is a very nice property. Very attractive and clean and had all the amenities I needed. I booked it based on Best Western's reputation as offering good quality at value prices - something others claim, but few seem to deliver nowadays. The free breakfast buffet had a variety of dishes that were all well-prepared and presented. As a bonus, coffee is available 24 hours a day - it is good and comes in a variety of strengths. It is also only 3.5 miles from the airport so taxi rides were very affordable.
