Excellent no frills modern hotel. Quiet rooms, comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, friendly staff. Booking this hotel through expedia meant no extra charges at check out (which happens at many NY hotels) We had 2 king rooms on different floors for our booking (however no changes allowed to room selection via expedia or at check in-we wanted to switch one room to a twin) Both simliar size rooms with huge King size beds (much bigger than a UK King) Memory foam beds very comforable. Bathrooms with shower very clean. Both rooms included hairdryer, iron/ironing board, drink maker including tea & coffee, safe, ice bucket(ice machine,vending machine and microwave in the basement). Daily housekeeping excellent, fresh towels & tidy room. 'Am' only coffee shop on ground floor very handy for nice coffee and fresh pastries with friendly staff. Nice little courtyard (when theres no one smoking) One street over is 'Bread and Butter' excellent store for drinks and snacks. Great central location. If you need a massive healthy salad after days of fast food, Slate cafe on the corner is excellent. The hotel booked us an SUV to get back to the airport. It was fixed price of $145 plus tip. No other toll charges etc Would recommend 👍👍👍👍

The hotel stated on its website that its amenities included a gym. I asked about this in the staff told me there was no gym, no workout area, although there was some discussion about whether they would be able to do this at some point. I pointed out that this was misleading. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was that it offered the opportunity to work out. I noticed in other reviews of the hotel that guest had also mentioned the lack of the Jim, despite the listing of it. It appears to me that the management is less than honorable, and is willing to offer more than they can provide. They didn’t offer any compensation, despite the very high price and the lying on the amenities list.

Hallways are really small so while housekeeping is working, it’s difficult to navigate. Rooms are small, but typical for NYC. The area this hotel is in is not the greatest. But the hotel itself is really good. Cute little coffee shop in lobby where you can buy breakfast.

It smelt and looked clean, and the room had been available thirty minutes early (check-in at 3, we checked in at 2:30). The hotel was within walking distance to the places we were interested in seeing, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We could have a late checkout without any additional cost for one hour, anything later would cost more. We also paid $1.00 per bag we asked the hotel to hold for us after check out while we explored the city.

Stayed 2 nights for business at NYU hospitals. Pillows were a little uncomfortable. Bedding smelled nice and was clean. Great shower, but upon arrival toiled was clogged, which they fixed b4 I returned at night. King bed room a little small but not a problem at all. Excellent location right by Koreatown so lots of delicious places to eat. No lounge, bar and I left at 6 am so no signs of breakfast. Nice staff. I’m easy to please.

Very clean and modern and super good location to walk around Manhattan. Bathroom was very clean and the cosmetic smells good. The only thing I would recommend is to have a refrigerator in the rooms.

The hotel is very basic. Retuned to the room at 4.30pm on the first day and despite leaving the "please clean our room" sign on the door the room had not been cleaned. When we raised this with reception I was surprised to be told we had to ask each day for it to be cleaned! They didn't actually clean the rooms, just changed the towels and made the beds. Very noisy on the street side and no sound proofing. Very limited storage space to unpack. clean

We just came back from a 4 night trip staying at this hotel! We really liked that each floor only had 6 rooms on it so it was quiet with no road noise. The rooms are a bit small but you have everything you need, however the pillows are not what were pictured. We had a king bed and the pillows were a bit bigger than sofa cushions (20x20) and were not comfortable at all, they were quite flat and lumpy. That was the only thing we could complain about really, we loved the location to get around the city & the staff were very friendly always saying hello when you left & came back. Overall we would definitely stay here again but maybe next time ask to see if they have better & bigger pillows.

Room was clean but small. We reserved an Early Checkin which the website stated would be at 11:00am, but the staff told us to come back to the hotel around 12:00pm - 12:30pm? It ended up fine but was slightly frustrating we didn't get the early checkin we reserved

Nice, even bigger room than expected, on 17th floor with beautiful view both to Empire State Building and Chrystler Building. Room was contemporary and clean. Only the shower handle was a bit broken also sometimes water temperature difficult to stabilize. Room cleaning was on request but fulfilled with no issues. In the morning, you can buy food for breakfast downstairs.

Was in NY for meetings at the brand new Virgin hotel two blocks away. This was better much better priced. The front desk staff persons are efficient, friendly and genuine. Number and location of outlets A++! Comfy bed. Only complaint during my 5 night stay: slamming doors by guests coming in and out at all hours. Hotel would be wise to put some soft-close springs on those doors.

i was treated extremely poorly by staff they were extremely judgement from the minute i stepped foot into the establishment they gave me attitude at check in and quite literally took a verification pen to all the cash i handed them (which was all 20's and a few 1's) including the $1 bills looked at me with disgust the entire transaction then put me in a room that had a disgusting stain on the sheets gave me attitude and refused to change my room. i would not stay here again

Perfect location and walkable to many locations! The staff was extremely friendly!! They allowed us to check in to one of our two rooms early. We wanted to drop our bags and head out exploring and they were willing to accommodate without question!! The front desk staff was helpful in directions as well as helping us with our boarding passes! I would definitely recommend this hotel!!

Khaonla from the front dek was amazing! She was kind, sweet, super informative, and had the best recommendations for food nearby. She was a genuine delight. I travel to the city for work 4 or 5 times a year and this is my new favorite hotel.

Front desk was polite and accommodating. All my concerns were addressed . I booked this same day for a concert and it literally was perfect walking distance to Madison Square Garden . Will be returning this will be my go to hotel . Kevin from front desk you rock / Also the person who checked me in with the fancy nails loved your energy .

While the property may be centrally located, the quality and service were poor and sub-standard. After having paid Rs. 35,000 (USD 400 plus) a night, I can only say that the room was of poor built and quality (especially the bathrooms). As regards the service, one needs to go all the way to the reception to collect sugar / milk sachets. I can safely say that Best Western would definitely NOT be on my list for my next visit.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly, courteous, and professional. Shriya was especially sweet and helpful throughout, especially when we had a vending machine issue. They also have ice cold water always available to you in the lobby, which is extremely appreciated on a hot, summer day. Dropping off luggage to be held was inexpensive ($1/luggage). Definitely recommend, and would stay here again.

Great location just around the corner from The Empire State Building, couldn't ask for a better location really. Room was large, welcoming and nicely laid out in design. In room safe was easy to use and the fridge was handy to keep drinks in. Staff were helpful and courteous at all times and the ice cold Lemon or Orange water near the lifts was always welcome after returning to the hotel after exploring New York. Fresh towels daily was also appreciated and the 24 hour concierge made it east to check out when leaving at 3:30am to catch an early flight from JFK! Next time in New York this hotel will be my choice :)

Great location near Penn, Koreatown, Empire State, Bryant Park and Grand Central. Our room was very clean and modern with the renovation. We were on the 17th floor so we could not hear the noise outside. Will definitely stay here again.

Very new interior. A good deal compared with other hotels in the area. Nice midtown location. Nearby subway and bus. Nice little cafe inside hotel (and bar in late afternoon and evening. Rooms while not large are big enough and larger than many hotels.

A great place to stay in midtown. Clean, on a quiet street. Very close to Macy's and Koreatown. Great busline options. Breakfast available in the downstairs café. Will stay here again!
