I enjoy staying here. Very convenient. Food is somewhat expensive but plenty of options In the vicinity. The garden is very nice and relaxing.

Cuartos que ya se le ven bastante sus años, sin aire acondicionado, con un ventilador que ya debería ser parte de un museo, aunque si funcionaba. Colchones y almohadas en mal estado, el cancel de los baños ya muy descuidado también. Un estacionamiento muy grande donde uno podría estacionar su propio auto, pero en cambio te obligan a dejarlo en valet originando la molestia de sacar todo lo de valor. Definitivamente no me volvería a quedar.

Tuve problemas con la reservación que hice a traves de hoteles.com ya que no la enviaron al hotel como debían. Entiendo que es un problema de la agencia, pero si el hotel tiene convenio con la agencia deberían buscar de inmediato solucionar el problema, y la respuesta de el hombre en recepción solo era: yo no puedo hacer nada. De hecho, mi impresión con esta persona fue totalmente negativa. Bueno, para no hacerlo mas largo, perdí un desayuno por el cual ya había pagado. Al siguiente día, quedó solucionado por la srita. Maria Luisa de reservaciones quien logró hacer que mi calificación al hotel no sea baja. Su actitud de servicio es de mencionarse. El hotel tiene una muy buena ubicación, aunque si le hace falta renovación de mobiliario y sobre todo, HVAC en las habitaciones. El personal del restaurant muy amable y con ganas de atender; una felicitación para ellos también. Tienen un estacionamiento amplio, pero solo aceptan dejar el auto al valet, lo cual creo podrían considerar ya que hay personas que no nos gusta dejar el auto y esto es un tanto molesto. En general, de no ser por la actitud del recepcionisto nocturno, recomiendo el hotel sin problema ya que cumple y la relación precio/beneficio es buena, además de que todas las demás personas son super amables.

Maria Cristina hotel location is outstanding we could walk for dinner just a few steps, also public transportation points are so close. The BAR is very nice and breakfast is awesome.

Breakfast choices were very good. Clean facility and accommodating Staff. Lovely garden and patio. Although well maintained, the room decor seemed a bit dated. Would have really appreciated a smart TV in the room. Limited to only CNN or Fox News for English language television.

This is a charming old hotel with lots of atmosphere where the staff go out of their way to be as helpful and courteous as possible. I stayed for a total of six nights and was pampered the whole time. I especially liked having a beer in the garden after a long day. of adventures in the city. The garden is so quiet and peaceful it makes you forget you are in the city

This is a great old hotel with friendly staff. It's starting to look a little dreary and needs artwork or color added to walls in the lobby and restaurant to cheer it up. It's very clean and has a grassy, outdoor patio area.

El personal es muy atento tanto en la recepción como en el restaurante, pero las camas son muy incómodas, y las sábanas olían a sudor.

Room cleaning and bellboy service were excellent! Unfortunately this once beauty has degraded to a point where it needs a makeover. Old uncomfortable beds, worn filthy carpets broken tiles and bathroom where sewer smell is so strong. No a/c or heat but they do provide a small tower unit. Location is fantastic and with a little investment, this could be a 1st class place

La fachada es muy bonita al igual que el lobby, pero los cuartos dejan mucho que desear, hay moho en el baño, las almohadas tenían manchas amarillas, las habitaciones sencillas son con abanico. Me pidieron un depósito de $500 que me devolvieron al final (después de haber pagado mi instancia) los contactos se safaban.

Todo muy limpio, súper buena ubicación y el personal muy amable. Sin duda volveré!!

El personal es muy amable, las habitaciones y en general todo el hotel muy limpio. Ubicado en una zona tranquila, a una cuadra de Paseo de la Reforma, fácil de transportarse en diferentes medios ya que se puede usar la eco bici, metrobús uber o taxis. De igual manera en auto. Grata experiencia.

It is accessible, a good place to go for a walk, the hotel itself is not very good, dirty carpets, and the cleaning of the room is bad. In my case, there were hairs from previous guests in the bed.

Great location, would prefer cleaner carpet, wish had l’il fridge, AC, coffee machine, screened sliding door window. If long stay, summer weather, might reconsider. But for 3 nights with beautiful fall/spring weather, can’t complain. Good bang for buck, again great location.

I liked the location, which was quiet and not far from the historic district or Chapultepec. The hotel lounges are quite pleasant. However, the “double” beds are very small. It's difficult for two people to fit in them, even though we're fairly slim. The internet access is terrible for a hotel of this standard. Only two devices can connect per room (so you have to choose between a phone and a computer, and if there are three of you, it gets very complicated). And even when you do get a connection, it's very unstable and of very poor quality. I strongly advise against this hotel for people who need to work remotely. There is no soap or shampoo in the showers. On the other hand, they are very flexible about check-out, which can be done at 2 p.m. This is rare and worth mentioning.

Esta muy bien ubicada pero para lo que ofrece ya se quedó atrás, la cama no es de la mejor calidad, no cuenta con aire acondicionado, no tiene tv Smart tv, el baño a penas entraba.

El hotel es viejo, requiere de renovacion y mantenimiento, lavabo del baño obstruido, goteo en la llave. Carece de unidad de aire acondicionado (no me di cuenta de este detalle hast a llegar al cuarto), no recomendable para temporada de calor.

The Front desk staff did not speak English, and check in was confusing due to extra deposit. Otherwise staff were polite and did their best. The breakfast at the restaurant on site was basic but plentiful, but the rest of the menu needs improvement. It is a good choice for those with a limited budget, but those who can afford more might be happier with another option.

WiFi very limited and only two connections for three people...

Water pressure was horrible. Mattress was a bit hard and pillows not comfortable. Staff was very courteous. Rooms was clean.

La señorita de la entrada fue muy grosera desde el inicio, comiendo chicharrones en la recepción. Le pedí el acceso a wifi múltiples veces para poder trabajar y me regañó diciendo que era mi culpa que no funcionara el acceso porque le había puesto acento a mi apellido (!). Luego me dio un acceso que sólo funcionó 1 de los 3 días. Al final, me entregaron mi auto con la llanta ponchada, era rentado, en la renta me dijeron que fue intencional porque el tornillo era nuevo y se notaba lo habían atornillado intencionalmente, incluso se notaba se había resbalado el desarmador al atornillarlo.

La persona de la recepcion de nombre Jose Maria ,nos atendio muy mal. No tenia los datos correctos de nuestra reserva y aun cuando habiamos pagado desayuno,el dijo que no,tuvimos que enviar un correo y aun asi,no lo actualizo y no tuvimos nuestros desayunos ya pagados.pues hiso mal su trabajo creando confusión entre el personal de la mañana siguiente y nosotras.muy mal .😠solo el.los demas bien

En definitiva el problema del hotel es el personal de recepción que atiende en la tarde-noche. Llevo varias estancias y siempre es el mismo tema con ellos. Además veo comentarios de otras personas con la misma queja y no entiendo porque la administración no soluciona el problema. Personal de la mañana y demás personas de servicio son super atentas y amables, pero si al llegar, te encuentras con estas personas carentes de modales y de actitud de servicio, definitivamente arruinan tu estadía. Yo tomo este hotel por comodidad ya que está bien ubicado. Pero ya es momento de buscar otra opción ya que no cambia esta situación y repito, en cada estancia, me encuentro con lo mismo.

We love the staff service and the early check in and upgrade room. We enjoy the convenience of the location, walking and public transportation availability.

El servicio del restaurante siempre es muy bueno, destacado incluso. El personal de recepción ha mejorado mucho. Las habitaciones nuevas o de lujo son bastante buenas respecto precio-calidad. La ubicación es muy buena.

Recomendable. El hotel tiene un estilo muy bonito que contrasta con los edificios que lo rodean. Tiene un patio en el cual puedes disfrutar de un café o bebida de tu elección al estar en una zona no muy concurrida. El hotel queda cerca de diferentes puntos de transporte para movilidad economica por la ciudad. En la cuestión de las habitaciones cuentan con lo esencial, camas comodas, baño completo y buena regadera. Asi mismo, la comida del hotel es muy rica; si en tu reservación dice que incluye el desayuno, no lo desaproveches y pide los pases en recepción. Hay muchos lugares de comida y algunos bares por el hotel. A 10 minutos esta el tap Guau con buena cerveza.

The hotel, location and facilities are good. The receptionist though was horrible. We had booked our room with breakfast included on it but he was trying to tell me that the confirmation email I was showing him was not the real one and was avoiding to provide breakfast. Just because of the receptionist manner I would give it 2 stars.

Seriously needs some updating, They use the old chit system for breakfast and room charges. It was adorable and very 1970's. And a retro experience. Still, even the curtains had stains. But, the court rooms are quiet, which is very desirable in CDMX. The breakfast was good, and the staff charming.

Incredible service and hepfulness of the staff. Free breakfast more than comparable to surrounding restaurants. First class rstaurant.
