We arrived a few hours early on check-in day and were able to leave our bags securely with the concierge until our room was ready. Check in experience was pleasant. The rooms are new and modern, and well appointed. Complimentary breakfast was a convenient start to the day, and had a range of simple options and a nice little courtyard to sit in while you eat. Location is excellent, very central and walkable to all the sites in Florence. 5 minute walk from the train station. My only complaints were: 1) the room was heavily perfumed on arrival and took ages to air out. The strong scent seemed to be on every surface and in all upholstery. We opted not to have housekeeping attend the room to avoid getting a fresh dose of whatever they're spraying every day. It was very strong in the hallways each day as well. 2) Only 1 room card was made available, and the lights and air conditioning turn off when the card is not plugged into the room (and there's no fooling the card reader either - inserting a dummy card didn't do the trick like it often does in other hotels with similar systems). This meant the room was hot and humid whenever we returned from our adventures, and if one of us wanted to pop out to explore on our own or run an errand, the other person would either be left in the dark, or would have to run down to the main level to let them back into the hotel on return. We found this inconvenient. Overall, a good stay, and I would book again.

What a surprise! There is a very small sign by a large door. We entered a barren foyer, consisting of an elevator and stairway. We went up one floor to Reception. A wonderfully pleasant man, Dario(proprietor) greeted us warmly. The hotel is part of an old palazzo, the rest being private residence. Dario took us up another floor, whereupon we entered another hallway, marked with sign for a half dozen rooms. We entered #26. Voila! A completely remodeled, large, high ceiling room. Beautiful! And the bathroom was also good sized, and modern. A miracle in the center of old Florence. A lovely accommodation, for a very reasonable price.

Unique boutique hotel, conveniently located, well appointed. Small second floor lobby, with small dining room and courtyard for quick breakfast. Hotel seems split among floors of building, so reception was not always attended, but when present they were always extremely helpful and kind. Soaring ceilings with decorative adornment and lofted seating area were a welcomed feature.

Room was small. Didn't realize we were walking into the hotel other than there was a small sign outside. Seemed to be hotel rooms combined with apartments in the same building so it was a little odd walking into. Breakfast was fine that they offered.

Five minutes walk from train station and five minutes walk to Duomo. Modern and spacious rooms located in a 1600’s building. This property should be a 4 star hotel in my opinion. Would definitely recommend.

We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage so that we could explore Florence with our friends before they left town. We arrived back at the hotel to check in, and found that our luggage was in our room already! Such a nice surprise! Rates were very reasonable for any room service; we did not use any items from room service or the fridge, though. We felt very secure with many layers of security between our room and the city street. Lastly, breakfast was fantastic! A pistachio croissant, cappuccino, and many many other options, including cheese and meat slices for those desiring something more protein-oriented, all served outside in a courtyard with flowers, secluded and peaceful. Plus yogurt, muffins, and much more! All delicious! We took a cab summoned by the hotel at the time the front desk advised, and arrived in plenty of time for security, check-in, etc for our international flight back home. Overall a delightful place that I would easily stay in once again!

The location couldn’t be better — everything from restaurants and museums to historic churches was within walking distance, so we didn’t need public transport at all. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, and the whole place felt cozy and homey. Breakfast was excellent, with high-quality options like whole-grain bread, cheese, ham, prosciutto, yogurt, granola, and fruit. Eggs were freshly scrambled on request. Ok for a one night stay but felt kind of dingey. Stains on the curtains and linens and marks all over the walls made the place just feel kind of run down. There needs to be a major face lift. The staff is very kind and attentive though.

Look no further than this hotel when looking for a place to stay in Florence. It is close to so many main attractions but my favorite thing was how comfortable and modern it was. You have great amenities in your room and the shower is spectacular! The breakfast options were great and delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

The room and the area was really nice. It was a little tricky to find the front desk because it was inside a building on the second floor and the door to the front desk area looked like every other door and was not clearly labeled. Also, many time throughout our stay, we tried to get into the lobby room but it would either be locked or inaccessible. When the staff was there, they were super great but services was spotty on if they were there or not. Our room did not have a shower head, just a handheld sprayer on the tub. It was fine but just not what we anticipated. There is also no workout gym, which I think they do list on their site. These were just a couple things to note but we still loved the room and the stay overall!

Our room was spacious, clean with lots of light. The bed was comfortable. The shower is fairly large compared to other places we've stayed in italy, so that was a big plus! The breakfast was basic, but good. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The location can't be beat! I would stay here again and highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience at this charming boutique hotel. The location couldn’t be better — everything from restaurants and museums to historic churches was within walking distance, so we didn’t need public transport at all. He yelled at my friend for having a hall door open even though it was already open when she got there. He also stood up and screamed at me during checkout. We had 2 key cards, my friends left early and turned in their card. Instead of calling the other staff member to check, he chose to scream at his paying customers instead. The room and the area was really nice. It was a little tricky to find the front desk because it was inside a building on the second floor and the door to the front desk area looked like every other door and was not clearly labeled. Also, many time throughout our stay, we tried to get into the lobby room but it would either be locked or inaccessible. When the staff was there, they were super great but services was spotty on if they were there or not. Our room did not have a shower head, just a handheld sprayer on the tub. It was fine but just not what we anticipated. There is also no workout gym, which I think they do list on their site. These were just a couple things to note but we still loved the room and the stay overall!

Also in 10 minutes walk to other hot areas like the academy gallery and Uffizi gallery. The front desk service was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast lady was super nice, cooking fresh eggs and pan cakes for us. The room is spacious, clean and very quiet. A small issue is we got mosquito bite for the first night. The check in office is on the second floor. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

Es increible para descansar, la cama y el baño, especialmente para turistas cansados que requieren descansar, bañarse y dormir. la Limpieza y la zona, fue muy accesible caminar a las iglesias, al ponte veccio, al mercado, a la estación central y a la galeria. Definitivamente una muy buena ubicación. El personal fue muy amable y el desayuno estuvo muy delicioso.

We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage so that we could explore Florence with our friends before they left town. We arrived back at the hotel to check in, and found that our luggage was in our room already! Such a nice surprise! Rates were very reasonable for any room service; we did not use any items from room service or the fridge, though. We felt very secure with many layers of security between our room and the city street. Lastly, breakfast was fantastic! A pistachio croissant, cappuccino, and many many other options, including cheese and meat slices for those desiring something more protein-oriented, all served outside in a courtyard with flowers, secluded and peaceful. Plus yogurt, muffins, and much more! All delicious! We took a cab summoned by the hotel at the time the front desk advised, and arrived in plenty of time for security, check-in, etc for our international flight back home. Overall a delightful place that I would easily stay in once again!

Rooms seem to be recently renovated - very nice (beds, air con, bathroom). Breakfast is not great, but good enough to get you going in the morning. Excellent location - minutes to train station, and walkable to many areas around town. Would stay there again.
