De vriendelijkheid van het gehele personeel, een prima ontbijt en nette kamers. Ongezellig donker en geluidruchtig buitenterras van de brasserie. Rooftop buiten terras kan gezelliger met een plantje en/of een kaarsje. Hotel ligt centraal t.o.v. alle bezienswaardigheden en is uitstekend bereikbaar met metro vanaf vliegveld.

The property was located a short walk from Omonioa Square which is where the trains and buses are. Taxi service easy to find or the Concierge was happy to make any reservations for you. The friendly staff was 24/7 with a security officer who greeted you at the building. The hotel had a great breakfast buffet in the morning, so many hot and cold choices, sweets and many fresh juices! The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a little small but functional. The roof top bar offered a nice indoor or outdoor dining/bar option with a really nice view of the Acropolis!! I would stay here again.

Fica próximo à estação de trem (cerca de 5 minutos de Uber - +- 7 euros). E fica a uma curta distância da praça Omonia, que é onde está o metrô. Recepção foi calorosa e gentil e já tinham sido muito solícitos nos contatos prévios por e-mail. A área da recepção é ampla e iluminada. O quarto triplo é de bom tamanho, com sacada para a rua principal e com vista lateral para Acrópole. Tem cofre, TV grande, frigobar, chaleira elétrica, xícaras, chás e cafés e água gratuita. Cama, lençóis, travesseiros e toalhas de boa qualidade. O banheiro é bom, mas o box é pequeno e vaza água pra todo lado (por cima do box, se deixar o chuveiro aberto no máximo). Mas o chuveiro é ótimo. A porta do banheiro é espelhada, o que significa que quando a luz do quarto está apagada e a do banheiro acesa, dá pra ver tudo no banheiro. Então prejudica a privacidade de quem está usando o banheiro. O café da manhã é excelente. Variedade de tudo: de águas saborizadas a frios e quentes. Tudo saboroso: saladas, tortas, salgados, ovos, linguiças, frutas, iogurtes, geleias, doces e pães. Preparam café grego para os hóspedes. Todos os funcionários falam várias línguas. A funcionária Melinda foi muito simpática e prestativa e nos deu dicas para ir à Acrópole, com a linha vermelha de metrô (descer na estação Acropolis) – foi rápido e a subida é bem mais simples e mais curta. O hotel tem café/restaurante no térreo e bar/restaurante no rooftop, que é de dar inveja com vista aberta para a Acrópole e o Monte Licabetus.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay wit the Polis Grand Hotel prior to embarking on our cruise. The staff was very helpful and responsive to emails as we were planning our trip. The rooms were immaculate and the included breakfast was amazing. The only negative was the street noise (we like to sleep with the window slightly open.) We definitely would recommend this hotel.

I liked every thing about this property great location walking distance to shopping and cafes and restaurants. The room was very clean and had a king size comfortable bed and had a balcony with a nice view. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

L'hotel est agréable les chambres sont de belles tailles en revanche les douches sont minimalistes. Bien situé pour silloner Athènes. Seul gros problème le bruit des travaux qui démarrent à 7h45. Donc reveil matinal tres bruyant avec des bruits de chantier.

The hotel is conveniently located near a metro. For families this is a budget friendly hotel. The breakfast buffet was the highlight of the stay, we get to try things we wouldn’t normally get. The elevator was interesting, only 3 people maximum. The AC was a bit hot for us, the room looks outdated.

The room was comfortable for a couple and 2 kids on a sofa bed. Cleaning service daily. The breakfast was beyond expectations, big variety , vegan options .reception and restaurant personel really friendly and polite. Room service was good but unfortunately my room was exactly next to the cleaning storage so there was alot of noise during the day. I highly recommend the hotel for families.

Alt var lækkert. Sødt personale som lod os tjekke senere ud. 2 minutter fra metro. Eneste ulempe var at det var meget lydt og rengøringspersonalet gik igang kl 7. Ville gerne bo der igen.

Rooms are rather maximum 2 stars, definetly not 4. During winter, only A/C may be used for heating. No hair dryer, bathroom has no heat, smelled bad, room was an apartment probably with a locked door between 2 rooms, so you could hear everything from the oher room, no balcony, NO OUTSIDE VIEW, fake window, small room with no amenities. Looks nothing like the photos posted by the hotel. Maximum 2 stars, would NOT recommend.

Prima ligging qua bereikbaarheid. Kamer was schoon. Douche ruimte zeer krap dat je niet fatsoenlijk kan douchen. Dit ondanks upgrade van €10,- extra per nacht. Geen minibar aanwezig en geen fleje water.

We stayed here for a weekend trip (family with 2 adults / 2 kids). Location was close enough to walk to Acropolis and other sites (there is a metro station nearby but we preferred to walk). Breakfast was also delicious. Staff friendly and helpful. We could leave our bags after checkout until the flight time which was helpful. Hotel was going through renovation in some floors, with some noise early in the morning, but we just noted after waking up. Price was reasonable considering a room for 4. We only used the hotel to sleep, so can't comment on other items. Overall, great hotel, would certainly stay again.

The room was comfortable for a couple and 2 kids on a sofa bed. Cleaning service daily. The breakfast was beyond expectations, big variety , vegan options .reception and restaurant personel really friendly and polite. Room service was good but unfortunately my room was exactly next to the cleaning storage so there was alot of noise during the day. I highly recommend the hotel for families.

Fica próximo à estação de trem (cerca de 5 minutos de Uber - +- 7 euros). E fica a uma curta distância da praça Omonia, que é onde está o metrô. Recepção foi calorosa e gentil e já tinham sido muito solícitos nos contatos prévios por e-mail. A área da recepção é ampla e iluminada. O quarto triplo é de bom tamanho, com sacada para a rua principal e com vista lateral para Acrópole. Tem cofre, TV grande, frigobar, chaleira elétrica, xícaras, chás e cafés e água gratuita. Cama, lençóis, travesseiros e toalhas de boa qualidade. O banheiro é bom, mas o box é pequeno e vaza água pra todo lado (por cima do box, se deixar o chuveiro aberto no máximo). Mas o chuveiro é ótimo. A porta do banheiro é espelhada, o que significa que quando a luz do quarto está apagada e a do banheiro acesa, dá pra ver tudo no banheiro. Então prejudica a privacidade de quem está usando o banheiro. O café da manhã é excelente. Variedade de tudo: de águas saborizadas a frios e quentes. Tudo saboroso: saladas, tortas, salgados, ovos, linguiças, frutas, iogurtes, geleias, doces e pães. Preparam café grego para os hóspedes. Todos os funcionários falam várias línguas. A funcionária Melinda foi muito simpática e prestativa e nos deu dicas para ir à Acrópole, com a linha vermelha de metrô (descer na estação Acropolis) – foi rápido e a subida é bem mais simples e mais curta. O hotel tem café/restaurante no térreo e bar/restaurante no rooftop, que é de dar inveja com vista aberta para a Acrópole e o Monte Licabetus.

I liked every thing about this property great location walking distance to shopping and cafes and restaurants. The room was very clean and had a king size comfortable bed and had a balcony with a nice view. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

The property was located a short walk from Omonioa Square which is where the trains and buses are. Taxi service easy to find or the Concierge was happy to make any reservations for you. The friendly staff was 24/7 with a security officer who greeted you at the building. The hotel had a great breakfast buffet in the morning, so many hot and cold choices, sweets and many fresh juices! The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a little small but functional. The roof top bar offered a nice indoor or outdoor dining/bar option with a really nice view of the Acropolis!! I would stay here again.

Many reviews talk about Omonoia Square being dangerous, specially at night. The hotel is well located, close to public transportation and walkable to the main landmarks in athens. However, since it’s a very central location in the city it shows more than other areas. I Uber/taxi at night as needed and I did not witness any issue. I did not feel unsafe at any time and the staff was amazing. Breakfast was also good. The room/bathroom was dated, but well maintained.

We could not have been happier with this hotel. The location was great, the staff could not have been nicer, and the room & amenities (breakfast and roof top restaurant with a beautiful view of the Acropolis) were outstanding. We’d definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a nice staying at the hotel Polis for for pre-cruise and it was an excellent choice. Hotel Polis is small but clean, the staffs are friendly and helpful. Hotel Polis offers variety selections breakfast with fresh ingredients. Hotel Polis is at every convenient and safe location to everything such as sightseeing, restaurants and shops within a short distance of walking.

This hotel beat my best expectations. I'm loyal to Hilton, but it wasn't possible on this trip so I chose the Polis Grand Hotel. The staff is over-the-top helpful, the breakfast has everything you could want (and more), the rooftop bar/restaurant was perfect to watch the Acropolis at sunset, and looking to the right from the hotel room balcony provides a view of the Acropolis. The hotel is near all the popular buses and just a short walk to the metro--you can leave the hotel and arrive at the Acropolis in 10 minutes using the metro. The room is medium size and the bathroom is a bit small. The bed was clean and very comfortable--two twin-size beds pushed together. When I return to Greece, I'll be staying at this hotel (just don't tell Hilton).
