We've had an amazing time. From front staff, breakfast and dining to the views and location it was amazing. The 7th floor bar and the team members that served us and provided recommendations are second to. Nicholas, Theodore and Mike are like family to us. We had a wonderful experience and hope to return soon. Thank you Greece!!!!

Queda a unos 15 min del metro y el metro es a una parada de la Acropolis, trata de no salir de noche por la propiedad, allí hay un bar excepcional con una vista increíble de la Acropolis. El desayuno es excepcional y tiene platillos griegos para probar. El hotel no es muy nuevo, pero es muy limpio y en recepción son muy muy amables. Recomendado

Hotel a 5 minuti dalla metropolitana (ma a chi piace camminare in realtà il centro di Atene con le sue attrazioni si raggiunge in circa 20/25 minuti) sito quindi in una zona non centrale ma tranquilla e comunque con ristoranti e servizi (c'è una farmacia poco distante per dire). Camera e bagno puliti e di dimensioni più che soddisfacenti. Buona la colazione a buffet anche se con più scelta nella parte salata che in quella dolce. Bel rooftop bar con spettacolare vista sull'acropoli. Personale sempre cordiale e disponibile, sono intervenuti tempestivamente quando ho segnalato un malfunzionamento all'aria condizionata permettendomi di cambiare camera senza problemi.

Hotel is a great deal for the money. Its about a 30 minute walk to the heart of Athens. The roof top bar has a great view with good drinks and food. We ended every day there. Staff where very nice and helpful.

Great value. Bigger rooms, tasty breakfast. Air conditioning wasn’t working when we entered room, immediate response by staff to try and fix, when they realized it wasn’t quick fix we were moved to another room right away! Thank you😊

Les murs sont extrêmement fin, on a l'impression que nos voisins de chambre sont dans la même pièce. J'étais au 1er étage, j'ai entendu le réceptionniste tousser toute la nuit. Les portes qui claquent... j'ai dormi 4h... Compliqué ! Cela dit: excellent petit déjeuner avec des pancakes fait maisons: ce qui est très rare. Gentillesse du personnel.

Hotel Ilissos was one of the most welcoming places in downtown Athens!!! They cared for me like family. The breakfast buffet was beautiful with many options, fresh international cuisine, clean facilities and rooms with incredible views of the acropolis! They helped me find my way with walking, directions the bus and Subway and how to live like a local, even though I was a tourist. I’ll definitely be back!

AC didn’t work first night in middle of July in Athens that was disappointing for a 4 star hotel, they moved us to another room next door that initially seemed ok, but gradually got warmer in the morning. We left very early for our sightseeing and came back very late. AC not working in tho the room. We were too tired to change again room and we had very early flight. I mentioned at the checkout about the enconvenient so they could fix for next guest and also to give us a discount. The person at the reception said that these things just happen. I asked him to report my complain to the hotel manager. Never heard back. Sent email as reminder, never responded. Unacceptable!

Cama confortável, quarto grande, banheiro limpinho. Café-da-manhã variado. O rooftop tem uma vista priveligiada da Acrópole. Staff da recepção super receptivo e prestativo. Meu único ponto negativo foi a internet: dentro dos quartos, o sinal é muito ruim e vivia saindo fora do ar. Tinha que chegar perto da porta pra ele melhorar e às vezes até sair do quarto pra ele voltar.

The accommodations were great! Clean room, beds were comfortable, the whole room was very comfortable, and it is in a great location - close to the metro and walking to many parts of Athens. The concierge, Natasha, was one of our favorite people that we met. She was extremely helpful and friendly - really appreciated her help and guidance!

Hotel a 5 minuti dalla metropolitana (ma a chi piace camminare in realtà il centro di Atene con le sue attrazioni si raggiunge in circa 20/25 minuti) sito quindi in una zona non centrale ma tranquilla e comunque con ristoranti e servizi (c'è una farmacia poco distante per dire). Camera e bagno puliti e di dimensioni più che soddisfacenti. Buona la colazione a buffet anche se con più scelta nella parte salata che in quella dolce. Bel rooftop bar con spettacolare vista sull'acropoli. Hotel is a great deal for the money. Its about a 30 minute walk to the heart of Athens. The roof top bar has a great view with good drinks and food. We ended every day there. Staff where very nice and helpful.

Gostamos muito da acomodação em especial dos lençóis e edredons, muito macios! Café da manhã satisfatório. Os funcionários foram bem atenciosos. Localização de fácil acesso e ponto estratégico para andar de trem pela cidade toda além de ser a 15min a pé de Plaka.

The hotel is located south to acropolis. The nearest metro station is less than 10 minutes walk. And then only one station to Acropolis. It takes 20 mins to walk to acropolis. So the hotel met all the criteria I wanted. Clean, comfortable, and and convenient . The staff were very friendly and were always helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. By the way not tea or coffee in room.

We've had an amazing time. From front staff, breakfast and dining to the views and location it was amazing. The 7th floor bar and the team members that served us and provided recommendations are second to. Nicholas, Theodore and Mike are like family to us. We had a wonderful experience and hope to return soon. Thank you Greece!!!!

Queda a unos 15 min del metro y el metro es a una parada de la Acropolis, trata de no salir de noche por la propiedad, allí hay un bar excepcional con una vista increíble de la Acropolis. El desayuno es excepcional y tiene platillos griegos para probar. El hotel no es muy nuevo, pero es muy limpio y en recepción son muy muy amables. Recomendado

Hotel Ilissos was one of the most welcoming places in downtown Athens!!! They cared for me like family. The breakfast buffet was beautiful with many options, fresh international cuisine, clean facilities and rooms with incredible views of the acropolis! They helped me find my way with walking, directions the bus and Subway and how to live like a local, even though I was a tourist. I’ll definitely be back!

The staff was helpful, sweet and forthcoming. They always smiled and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was ok, the staff refilled everything all the time. The juice and the water however was not chilled. The surroundings of the hotel was ugly and not very pleasant.

Wonderful view from the terrace snack bar to the Acropolis. The reception and service staff are most friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and ample and breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Highly recommended.

I used this hotel for a short night stay. I literally booked it 20 minutes before I checked in at 23:00. The hotel turned out to be a great solution for that. The location, although it's on the highway, is good for a night out because there are nice and open bars and restaurants around it. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Actually in the morning I thanked them for always smiling :-). The room was clean, big, comfortable and very quiet. The hotel itself is not a new and fancy one and it offers an amazing value for money!

Location not great, area is offices and residential and scruffy, no vibe better to stay in an area with atmosphere. Staff lovely rooms and bathroons abit dated but ok. Bar on roof open 3pm to midnight but v quuet. Can see the akropolis

Rooftop bar was amazing! Breakfast was terrific. The shower head was oriented on the wrong wall of the tub so it wasn’t very easy to use, other than that the stay was comfortable.
