Breakfast was very slow unfortunately.. but very nice when it did arrive. I also thought our room would be in the main historic part of the building you see advertised on the website, but our room was within an add on annexe part of the hotel with an internal view?

The marketing for the hotel shows a grand Georgian mansion- which is the reception and the location of the dozen or so upscale rooms. But most of the rooms are in an attached annex which was built in the 1990s. As the rooms reminded me of a military training facility in the UK, I asked the front desk, and they advised that the annex was built as part of a residence for an air traffic facility in the 1990s. The bar was not inspiring. Not particularly cozy or memorable. The room was fine- large by UK standards, but not quite the Bath Regency experience we are looking for. The breakfast was typical buffet with an additional 4 item menu. The staff were well-organized and quick. The location is about 2 miles out from Bath. We knew parking was difficult with hotels in town. The hotel had ample free parking. We walked to and from town our first night- took about 40 minutes. We ubered the rest of the time- about $25 each way.

Parking Good. Woken by neighbours having early shower in the morning (room 111). Moved to Jane Austen room. much nicer. However, The door handle had to be lifted befor the cardkey would then allow the door to be opened. Door handle needs some attention. The TV at the end of the bath would not work due to 'No signal'. the other two TVs in the room were ok. As with all hotel rooms there was never enough suger/sweetener to allow for making two or three cups of tea/coffee each, so had to request more from reception. The quick dial button on the room phone dialed a number which then went to the unobtainable tone. Lastly, you put a very nice picture of the Cloisters area, on this email and other promotions, that used to be used for breakfast. Unfortunately it is now no longer in use.
