Brilliant modern hotel near city centre. Great breakfast easy check-in & check-out. Only downside is that designated parking is a fair way away and quite expensive. Easiest way to unload bags is not immediately apparent, if you don't know about the Green Park Rd Parking lot, where registration is only by phone with a QR code. ... a bit of a tedious process.

Only downside is no on site parking so you park at a sometimes QUITE crowded car park about 2 blocks away. Otherwise lovely stay. Wonderful breakfast included. New rooms highly recommend. Super close walking to everything. Parking at the nearby park is about £20/night

We had a very enjoyable four night break in this excellent hotel. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very good. A good variety of choices and nice to see that bacon has been added! Something that was missing from our stay last year. A good 24/7 gym. Very comfortable bed and wonderful shower. So convenient as only about seven minute walk from the train station.

What I liked about this place was that it was nice and clean and fairly new. What I disliked about this place is there is no onsite parking (which we knew) but there is also no official "set down area" so we had to illegally pull up to unload and load our luggage. It was a 700m walk to the underground car park that we were directed by hotel staff to use - hotel gives you a 10% discount for using this facility. There is a ground level park that is only 100m from hotel entrance, but it is more expensive than the u/g park. This hotel probably had the worst buffet breakfast that we experienced in our month in the UK. This wasn't helped by the fact that the dining area is adjacent to (and spread around) the check in/front door area. Didn't feel relaxing as you were walking to and from the buffet, whilst negotiating people walking in and out of the hotel. Hotel location is great - easy walking distance to places of interest. Staff were helpful. Lots of eating/drinking options close by. Room was good sized, and bed was comfy. I'd stay here again, but probably not have the buffet breakfast.

The property is a fantastic place to stay in Bath. The breakfast makes up for the very poor parking options. You have to park about 3 blocks away. And register at the hotel to get a discount which is not much. The staff were fantastic and friendly.

Check in reception was friendly and hospitable, and the room was clean and inviting. The only unfortunate part of the stay for a quite pleasant hotel is the parking availability, which is either vague in the posted specifics of the hours and tariffs charged from the Green park location, or park a further distance away in the much better Southgate Car Park. A small point of inconvenience in an otherwise very pleasant stay.

Well situated, short walk to the main Bath attractions with lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The room was good, very comfortable with space to lay my suitcase down and all the ameneties you would want. Only thing was that the bathroom was a bit dirty, although the giant towels were nice and plush. Overall, highly recommend, considering the value with the breakfast and the great location. Very easy walk from the train station as well.

Great stay at Hampton. Found location was great central to everything. Check in process was super quick. Room was nice. A bit small but had everything needed. Shower was great including water pressure. Tiny negative the bathroom sink wasn’t really clean - had stains and wasn’t cleaned properly from last time. I dropped a sweater on the floor and picked and it was covered with a thick layer of floor dust so floors not cleaned properly. But overall stay was great. Breakfast is a nice spread of hot and cold items lots to choose from. Our charger wasn’t working and reception provides one at a rental charge which was great. Reception also has and umbrella rental. Check out was incredibly easy - just tell your room number. Hotel is close to trains and buses so overall very nice stay.

I recently stayed at this hotel and appreciated its great location, which made getting around very convenient. The front desk service was decent-staff were generally helpful. However, the cleanliness was disappointing. The towels had hair on them, and the floor wasn't properly cleaned. I hope the housekeeping standards can be improved for a better overall experience.

Worst hygiene maintenance, room carpets old and stained , and hair in carpet and bathroom. Everytime I was just send text message as a reminder to clean the room once in a day. Bed sheet contains stains. I have requested to change it again the just used the same bedsheet

Room wasnt cleaned properly there was wrappers and empty water bottle under the bed. Room was on the small side also. Location is very good and central. Breakfast was lovely but as the hotel was full it was chaotic trying to find a table, as they didnt open the other seating area which was available. I think that more staff is needed to be available during thid peak time too. I probably wouldnt stay here again as it was a bit pricey for the service and amenities you got.

It was an okay room, poor in room tea and coffee facilities and the mattress wasn’t very comfortable but the pillows were good. The room was small but very clean and the air con was easily adjustable to get just the right temperature. Breakfast was ok but a bit chaotic, the food was ok and my daughter liked the waffles, the coffee was ok but the orange and apple juice was disgusting. The hotel could be very good but is let down by some easily fixable issues

Booked a room as three guests. The extra bed was a sofa bed and it was very uncomfortable. It was too firm and could feel the ridge and contour of the sofa upholstery. Didn't get a good night's rest at all. Also discomfort further compounded by not being able to change the room's aircon control as it appeared broken so had to contact reception to change it. Breakfast was good. Staff were very pleasant. Shame about the sofa bed. The price that was paid did not reflect a comfortable stay.

We checked in and had to pay a £10 deposit incase we used mini bar which is no problem but they ended up taking another £234. I have already paid for the hotel in full weeks ago. The reception said it has been reversed and you have straight away but now there telling us 10 days. This was our spending money for a birthday weekend away TERRIBLE

Excellent location for visiting Bath. Walking distance from the train and bus stations too. Our room was spacious, spotless and well laid out. Although the TV was unnecessarily large! Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion provided. Towels lovely and soft and a good size. Plugs and USB socket next to the bed. Breakfast was OK. My only criticisms are the slightly offhand, condescending attitude of two of the reception staff. All the other staff we met were very friendly and helpful. Also, we arrived early and our cases were put in the luggage room. However, when we came back later in the afternoon they had been put in an open area opposite reception. I did query it but wasn't happy with the response. Apart from that, I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Then, I was asked to pay a deposit, which I had never been required to do at any hotel in the UK before. The hotel is so so calculative. I never experience a hotel that will charge £25 to help store a luggage for a while. My train left in the evening. Also, I requested to have a 1 hour late check out. And they requested us to give additional £50. I am an international travelers. Never I experience this service in my life. If you want to make your city welcome to tourists the be nice and resonable.

Good value at the price we paid for two nights. It is hard to fault any aspect of our stay but why would you want to. The hotel is well located, within walking distance of the station and all the main attractions. Our room was quiet with the largest twin beds I've yet come across which were also very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless and hot water plentiful. The breakfast buffet provided a good selection for all tastes and of good quality. The only area that could do better were the carpets in the corridor which could do with a good clean. The plus side was that there was no noise from luggage being wheeled along and soft close doors meant there were no banging doors. All in all a very comfortable stay.

great location.few minutes walk to center and carpark. check in straight forward although check in time was late 4.00pm would have preferred 2.00pm room comfortable and clean tea and coffee no biscuits though. great shower breakfast was ample but tables got cleared but not cleaned everytime. a pleasant stay

Nice hotel right in the middle of the night life. Our room was comfortable and had washcloths, the first time we've seen that during our UK visit. The beds in our twin room were also larger than what seems to be the norm in city hotels. Also, the Wi-Fi remembered my login from another Hilton property that we'd stayed in the previous two nights. Finally, when breakfast buffet was excellent.

Comfortable room, great location. However, Breakfast was chaotic. Far too many people milling around in area, barely any room to move. The ‘dining’ area is located in the reception area/main entrance, so it wasn’t relaxed atmosphere.There wasn’t enough space to comfortably sit and enjoy our meal.
