Beautiful hotel located within easy reach of Bath town centre. Plenty of parking on site, which was ideal after a long drive. After hours check-in was easy & efficient, with clear message from the owners beforehand. Our room was very clean & tidy, and offered lovely views over the town. The water pressure wasn't great in the shower, but it didn't affect our stay. The honesty bar downstairs was a nice touch too, with a range of drinks both alcohlic & non-alcoholic, with ice avaialble too. Breakfast was top quality both mornings, and we would highly recommend the Eggs Benedicts & Florentine. We'll certainly look to stay again on our next visit to Bath

Dorian House was the perfect place to stay for a couple of days in Bath. We loved everything about it especially the decor, the cleanliness and the breakfast. The staff were lovely and they seemed to have thought of everything. The electric charge points and parking on site was a bonus too.

We had a fantastic stay at The Dorian! The room was great and the breakfast was fantastic. They even supplied epsom salts for my wife's bath in the lovely soaker tub in our room. The neighbourhood was very nice and it was an easy walk into the city. Finally, the electric car charging setup was easy to use and very inexpensive. Hats off to Rosalind and the rest of the hotel staff!

Property is well located to walk into Bath. Service at the accommodation was good, with breakfast service and quality excellent. Be aware that parking to the side of the property is quite steep. Would recommend this for a stay in Bath.

Beautiful area and excellent location for the city center with a 12 min walk to central Bath. Very serviceminded and friendly staff. Parking on site. Fantastic breakfast and a home from home atmosphere with something so rare as an honesty bar.

Very nice little b and b with parking ~15-20 mins walk from the centre of Bath. Room was a good size and well appointed. Much nicer than a bland chain hotel. Breakfast was tasty and good array of options. Reception isn’t 24 hours so as requested in documentation make sure you let them know if you’ll arrive after the time they say. Parking is tight but there’s spaces available for each room and competent drivers shouldn’t have any issues

The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble and the room was lovely. It was also only a small walk into the centre and with free parking at the hotel we did not need to use the car whilst we stayed there. 10/10

Staff were definitely all helpful, kind, welcoming. Breakfast was great, lots of choices, fresh and tasty. Walkable distance to town, though part of the walk is through a run down area with trash spread around, broken glass, old concrete staircase. From the photos I was expecting Dorian House to be a bit brighter and more “finished.” It felt clean, but a bit older, darker, and more quaint. We had prebooked and were confirmed in a room we chose due to it’s bright appearance, colors, big window. We were given a different room which was much darker, more somber. When asked, I was told we were “upgraded.” Apparently we were given a larger room, which I appreciated, but would have preferred being consulted about a potential switch. Steep stairway up to our room. Musty smell, probably in the stairway carpet. The bed was very comfortable and the large bathroom was great, with a strong and hot shower, plus a tub, and generous fluffy towels. Overall a good stay and would consider again, especially if counting on an excellent breakfast. However, the dark and musty room in memory would probably have me checking out some other options before committing for a next time.

We had a two nights stay in Nov 2024. We were able to get a parking space and the breakfast was lovely. We had a lovely room on the top floor with an en-suite shower. The bed and pillows were too soft for my partner but I thought they were lovely!! The curtains were tired, and the lining of one was ripped and hanging down. My partner spotted some dirty marks on the bed sheets and there weren’t enough teabags or coffee sachets and milk jiggers to have a couple of drinks each. Having said this I’d be more than happy to stay again, it was a lovely to stay and was perfect for what we needed. 10 minute walk down into Bath and obviously back up the hill at the end of the day but this was fine for us.

Dorian House was wonderful. The service was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was just right. Windows were a bit shabby in places but that is the only criticism.

We have stayed at Dorian House before so recommended it to our friends as a group booking (8 of us) to celebrate our 50th birthdays. We went for an executive room (6) Tallis. The room was beautiful with a lovely big bed and great view out of the quirky windows overlooking Bath. The welcome and the breakfast were both excellent. The issue we had was with the bathroom. It is shower only. There is a large sign up saying not to adjust the pressure of the shower due to it being an old house and the pipework not being able to cope. What I didn't expect was that there would be such little power in the shower - the water dribbled out. I had no choice but to increase it to actually shower on the 1st night. This meant that the water overflowed the shower tray & we ended up mopping the floor. The drain away is very small & the bathroom easily floods with literally no lip on the bottom of the shower to contain the water. This was mentioned at breakfast the next day. They changed the shower head but that wasn't the issue it's the design of the bathroom. This meant that I could not actually wash my hair all weekend as the water pressure was either insufficient or flooded the bathroom. This bathrooms needs a bath, with a shower overhead to avoid this happening. It's a shame as it would put me off booking this room again.

Dorian House was a very good spot for our exploration of Bath. It is outrside the city center so quiet for sleeping at night but still only a short (but hilly) walk to where the action is... Our room was very clean and spacious. The only drawback is that it was warm and the beds oy have a fairly heavy duvet - no top sheet. I like to have something to be able to pull over but what was available was too warm.

Beautifully period property with charming character, friendly and helpful staff. Modern amenities in rooms, great bathroom and shower. Comfortable bed, quiet at night as it is situated on a hill above the city. Great views! The breakfast is delicious, made to order - big thanks to the catering staff! A short walk about 10 mins downhill takes you into the heart of this beautiful city, a slower slightly uphill walk back. Recommend parking in the private off road bays where it is flatter. A wonderful stay and will definitely be booking again. Thank you

A gem! We had a cosy double and it was plenty big enough for two people and two big suitcases. The ensuite was awesome, best shower, modern. Breakfast was great. Staff were so helpful, nothing was a problem. Early check in, helped carry bags in. The walk into the city centre is 10 mins downhill. The hill back up is fine if you like walking. Recommend.

Large, well appointed room with own front door. Very comfy bed. Lovely breakfast and helpful staff. Plus a box of chocs and card left for my wife as it was her birthday. The only minor downside was the view into the kitchen at breakfast - not too well kept considering a guest could view!

Our stay at the Dorian Hotel was a pleasant experience overall. Check-in and check-out were seamless, making our arrival and departure hassle-free. All the necessary information was thoughtfully provided in our room, which was a nice touch. The room itself was smaller than expected compared to the photos online, but it had a comfortable bed and a relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was fairly standard, but the tea and coffee were disappointing, lukewarm and not very flavorful. However, the warm and friendly service made up for it, adding a positve start to our day. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Bath & would book again to stay at the Dorian hotel 😊

We had a lovely stay and it fit the bill for us for the most part. The breakfast was lovely, lots of options and generous portions. It’s in a lovely area of Bath around a 15 minute walk from the centre surrounded by lots of equally beautiful properties. Our room was smaller than expected and could get quite warm even with the windows open. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but not awful. We had a slightly unfortunate experience in that we were in Bath for a wedding and I was quite unwell so needed a quiet space to rest and be able to nap during the day. The room could get quite noisy in the morning due to things outside of the staff’s control (e.g., a tree being pruned at 8am on a Saturday morning on the neighbouring property and a dog that whined for hours at a time in the morning on a neighbouring property). Between those and not being able to close the windows as it was so warm and there was no air con, it made for a somewhat uncomfortable experience at times. That being said, if you are in Bath to sight see and will be out and about all day long then this B&B is absolutely perfect and you will have a lovely stay and get to see a little more of Bath when you’re walking to and from the centre!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely hotel and it was an absolute delight. I booked last minute for my girlfriends birthday as our trip to Edinburgh got cancelled and the service was exceptional. Everyone was so friendly, the experience felt extremely personalised, and the staff were so attentive. The owners/staff really went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable, offering thoughtful touches throughout our stay (my girlfriend got a birthday card and a box of chocolates, there were chocolate on the pillows, I had bought birthday banners which the cleaners actually put up for us so we were surprised with this after our day out in bath!! Justin offered us amazing bar recommendations which we went to and loved!) The rooms were super clean and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. It’s clear they take great pride in what they do. Just an overnight stay whilst we visited Bath. Justin greeted us on arrival and was really helpful - maps, restaurants recommendations and directions on how to walk into Bath which only takes 10 minutes. Breakfast was delicious and staff delightful. Would certainly stay there again.

From the minute we checked in until we left the service was outstanding, the staff were all helpful and gave advice on where to go, especially the gentleman from Wales.... Hotel was was very clean and the breakfast choice was amazing. Staff took our case up to the room, when we arrived, as we did arrive a litte earlier than checking in time, however that wasnt an issue. Parking was fine. The little details like nice body/bath scrub salts and umbrellas (if it was raining) that you could help yourself to. Our room was on the top floor, very clean and comfortable. There were chocolates, biscuits, water and tea/coffee machine in the room and a fan which was an added bonus. The location was good about 10 to 15 minutes to walk into Bath Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff were all lovely, super helpful and kind, especially Bradley. The room was wonderful. Breakfast was amazing, especially the smoked salmon. We were given green tea bags when we asked too! Bath city centre was walkable within 15 minutes easily. Nice quiet area.

The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble and the room was lovely. It was also only a small walk into the centre and with free parking at the hotel we did not need to use the car whilst we stayed there. 10/10

Dorian House provides free parking and breakfast for guests and the property is within walking distance of the city centre. It's also on the route of No 8 bus. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was first class. Accommodation was comfortable. Definitely recommend. Thank you to the staff for a lovely, 2 night stay on our first visit to Bath.

Great location - walkable distance into Bath city centre. Room was comfortable and had everything necessary for an enjoyable stay. Breakfast was an extra bonus with lots of choice and all well cooked. Would recommend and would stay again.

Very nice little b and b with parking ~15-20 mins walk from the centre of Bath. Room was a good size and well appointed. Much nicer than a bland chain hotel. Breakfast was tasty and good array of options. Reception isn’t 24 hours so as requested in documentation make sure you let them know if you’ll arrive after the time they say. Parking is tight but there’s spaces available for each room and competent drivers shouldn’t have any issues

Clean and lovely place, not distant to the city centre, we enjoyed the 10 mins walk but it is probably not ideal for someone with mobility problems as it is located on a hill. Parking available, friendly staff and high quality breakfast. I will definitely recommend it!

Lovely hotel. Location was good but the walk back from the city centre was up a fairly steep hill. This meant that we got Ubers for our return.

Check in was very good and well informed with places to dine by staff member Bradley. Room was spotless , bed very comfortable and had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious probably the best I’ve had. Definitely recommend this place.

We have just stayed 2 nights in the Dorian and have had the best experience. The team were fantastic and were attentive to our every need. The breakfast was fantastic and plentiful. The complimentary bathing scrubs were great. We have stayed in 5 star hotels that were not as good all round as this. We will definitely be booking again. I nearly forgot to mention the reason we had booked. It was to see a man for all seasons at the theatre. So thank you to them too for being here so we could find this accomodation.

We had a fantastic stay at The Dorian! The room was great and the breakfast was fantastic. They even supplied epsom salts for my wife's bath in the lovely soaker tub in our room. The neighbourhood was very nice and it was an easy walk into the city. Finally, the electric car charging setup was easy to use and very inexpensive. Hats off to Rosalind and the rest of the hotel staff!

Our stay at the Dorian Hotel was a pleasant experience overall. Check-in and check-out were seamless, making our arrival and departure hassle-free.
