A great place to stay with a great bar and restaurant downstairs. The parking was easy and we had a great stay!

Great nights stay. All you need in a nights stay under one roof.

Excellent location and delicious food. They also have the most beautiful bar where you have the option to sit either indoors or outdoors. We were there on a busy weekend, lots of celebrations going on, yet, it was an excellent experience.

Room was fine. A little older but clean. The hotel bar was amazing! Included breakfast was nice.

Excellent stay at Da Vinics. Food in restaurant and breakfast was delicious. Staff very friendly and a lovely room. Only downside was work( construction) going on outside so a lot of noise the next morning.

enjoyed our stay! Elevator down the next morning. Tried to adjust temperature in room. Found temperature adjustment the next day behind curtains on unit. Very friendly and Caring staff. Bar area excellent . Facilities need a little upgrading/ TLC. Water drainage in bathe hand sink and tub very slow,

A nice modern hotel with a great pub and restaurant Breakfast was good. The center of town and pub area is a decent walk or a taxi ride. Good Parking in rear.

Huge bedroom with sink and full size fridge. Bed was large and comfy. Shower/bathroom was new and spotless. Great spacious breakfast dining too. No rush for a table. Wish i was staying longer

Got a bit noisy on Monday morning with bins and bottles being collected outside but otherwise the room was very quiet. Great location by Derry quay with lovely walks into the town or out along Bay Road nature reserve. Only slight downside was no fridge in the room.

Hotel was dirty from the entry door, lobby, elevator with finger prints and dust everywhere. The room was so old with dirty furnitures, dirty water pot, dirty hair dryer, broken toilet flush, broken bath tub water faucet and no air conditioner. The mattress was old and cheap quality and bed sheet was worn with holes. Hotel needs maintenance and hire worker to clean up public areas, windows, elevator doors and walls. The furnitures need to be updated. Furnitures are the same ones with the photos on website but scratched and chipped with age and upholstery was faded and dirty. The location is away from downtown and restaurants and other attractions. They even gave us a room facing the back of the building overlooking the roof top of next building with debris and trashes. We stayed one night at the end of Nothern Ireland driving tour. It was a terrible last night stay at Nothern Ireland.

If your only choice of hotels in Derry is DaVinci, sleep in your car. First, the hotel is difficult to find. No signage and located behind a strip mall. When we finally arrived there was no offer to assist with luggage. We were given a luggage trolly with flat tires. The condition of the hallway to our room was covered with food scraps and trash. Once we arrived in the room we discovered there was no A/C and it was sweltering. The furniture is extremely dated and the finish was tacky to touch. The drapes were old and dirty. The price for this room was probably triple what it should have been. Finally, there is no coffee available in the room or in the lobby before the restaurant opens. This hotel is in need of a complete makeover.

Tv did not work in my room. They changed room to inferior room which had window through which I could not see out. No explantation or apology.

Great hotel. Lovely, helpful staff at check in. The room was very spacious with a modern good sized bathroom. Comfy large beds. Full irish breakfast was very nice with grwat allergy awareness from staff.

The mattress was uncomfortable. The pillows about 1 inch high. Awful. No extra blankets. First room toilet 3 inches from wall. Not acceptable. Would not recommend.

Location, staff: great. The bar and restaurant are really lively which is good if you want to stay on site. Room: second floor with view at the back of the kitche, which meant a really noisy area; noise until 2am and no ac so really warm room! We stayed 3 nights, asked to move room but couldn’t.

The website showed water views and a lovely outside area. This hotel is in an industrial area with views of huge storage silos. It has a noisy bar scene so you cannot open the windows for fresh air because the smoke and noise fills your room AND it has no air conditioning!! We couldn’t wait to leave the next morning.

Hot water tap did not work on bath, so I couldn't have a bath. Taps were not sealed down and water passed through Shower valve was hanging off Window handles did not work 3am a gentleman tried to get into the room It was clear that booking through a 3rd party the room was sub standard. Overall I rate this a 2 Star. Breakfast was very good.

The hotel was clean. The building felt kind of like a dorm. Could be updated. Breakfast was supposed to be included and ready at 7. When we got downstairs they said they had issues and it wouldn’t be ready until after 830 if even then. We couldn’t wait around due to our schedule. The room was hot, very hot. No AC

We were advised that some refurbishment works were happening in the restaurant on our arrival but where told this wouldnt affect us as we were in the opposite side of the hotel. We soon found out early the next morning that this wasnt the case, woken by constant pneumatic drilling that sounded like it was coming through the wall.... on inspection it was..... as it was the bedroom right next door to us that they where drilling in. We went for breakfast, tired, waited for over 10 minutes for someone to arrive to seat us. Then when we were finally seated, our order was taken and left with the kitchen. No-one came to the kitchen to even start to cook the food for another 15 minutes. I asked for sausage, soda and bacon. I got 2 sausages, the tiniest piece of soda bread Ive ever seen and two very small pieces of what I can only describe as fat (which should have been the bacon - it looked think the actual bacon had been removed! Anyway after staying here once before in the past and coming back to have a relaxing stay, it was awful. There are some nice hotels to stay in Derry, I certainly couldn't recommend this one.

The hotel itself was in a nice building. The check-in staff were literally non-existent. When we found someone it was disorganized. We stayed for dinner and I’d rate that a 2 out of 5. If you want deep fried and extremely oily food, eat there. Service was a zero out of five. They bring you an empty water glass with nothing to drink. The whole dinner experience was stomach turning. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. But with a large party down the hall, I wondered if they focus more on events than the sleeping experience of their hotel guests. The checkout staff were warm and friendly.

Had a lovely stay at this hotel. We ate in the restaurant and the food was beautiful. The service was excellent throughout and staff very professional.

Just spent 3 nights here. Staff excellent as was the restaurant and bar facilities. Room serviced daily and always clean It is also very popular with locals and advise booking the restaurant It’s located about 15 min walk along the river walkway from the centre of Derry but if you don’t want walk taxis are plentiful and cheap If I had any small issue was that we were ground floor and suffered slightly from noise associated with the nearby shops and the bins from the bar There has been lot of money spent on hotel and it shows Special shout out to the restaurant staff and manager Would definately recommend both Derry and this hotel for a stay

We moved Derry and the pub was fantastic Easy to use bus to go downtown

Staff were extremely accommodating. Area 1 mile or so from downtown so had to take a cab. Breakfast was good. Hotel rooms and halls outdated.

We had a very good 4 day stay at the Hotel with my wife. We found the Hotel, clean and the staff very helpful particularly John on the front desk. It was a good location on the fringes of Derry (only a 15 minute walk and vey clos to the River). Only £13 away by cab from Derry Airport as well. The restaurant and bar(s) were good and very reasonable priced too.

Nice hotel not far from the city centre. Easy access for those with mobility issues. Comfortable beds. Great cooked breakfast.

We checked into a Superior room that smelled of drains and wasn’t Superior as shown on the website. We were upgraded FOC to a Studio Apartment (should have been £40). The room had been upgraded, but the finish was terrible. The bathroom pipes were unsightly, the door surround was unfinished and had tile grout plastered all over the hinges. The bedroom had several stains on the couch and the pillow case had a cigarette burn. At breakfast we picked up cold plates and went to the food. Every item in the buffet was Luke warm and when put on a cold plate was stone cold before I started eating it!! Two big positives in the hotel were the bar and the staff. Every member of staff were friendly and helpful. Not a hotel I will be stopping again.

We had an overnight stay last month and we definitely will be back for longer. Could not fault one thing about this hotel. The staff are so friendly, food was amazing and the atmosphere at the bar with the entertainment was brilliant. The hotel itself is lovely and clean, our room was big as well. I never do reviews but had to do one for here. Thanku x

Have stayed at this hotel a few times - love the bar food and the Thai truck outside is fantastic. Rooms are fine, showers are fabulous! The only downside is the breakfast. I’ve found it pretty disappointing the last couple of times I’ve been. It’s literally cereal and fried food - and they always run out of things before the service is over. I would return but won’t book breakfast again.
