Great that hotel provides microwave in common area. And no strange smell in room this time. Last time I used holiday inn express Manchester, the room has very strong artificial air refresher smell that come out automatically from machine.

The room was very nice, and the size was good, but there was one thing that was really uncomfortable—the sofa bed. Second, the heating wasn’t working properly; however, the hotel reception provided me with a heater. Still, it would be better if we didn’t have to keep going downstairs and the heating worked properly. Third, the breakfast was extremely limited; they need to expand the options. For example, there were no boiled eggs, no cheese, and no proper variety of fruits—nothing like that. If they could add these items, it would be much better. Also, the breakfast area should be made a bit bigger. And secondly, when something ran out at breakfast, they didn’t refill it—they just said, "We don’t have any more." That was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was okay.

Breakfast was good and the staff members were very helpful and friendly. So was the reception. The location was perfect! Very close to city center, yet tucked away in a quieter street.

Great central location, clean & quiet hotel. Staff is courteous & always happy to assist. This is our 6th stay at Riverside! Breakfast is always freshly prepared with lots of choice. Thanks for another memorable visit! We will be back 😊

Clean room but it was cold and the heater wasn’t really efficient. Nice breakfast and staff were lovely.
