I was impress with the cleanliness of my room and bathroom. There were complimentary toiletries and pillow spray. The room was a bit small and ran-down, but it had everything you need. The breakfast was nice as well, and the staff were very friendly. Downfall was that there isn't really free parking, it's just street parking with pay and display only free between 19.00 and 8.30 in morning, so false advertising about the parking.

So convenient for visiting Hull New Theatre. Parking permit included so no worries re parking. 50m from theatre. Staff so friendly, food very hot and tasty. Would stay there again.

Didnt know there was free parking outside included in the stay but that xould qell have been me for bot looking close enough. Great venue for the theatre lkterally just across the road. The hotel was very easy to find.

Chose hotel because of parking and lift as we currently have limited walking mobility. However, reception is up a flight of stairs to entrance, and car parking is 300m away, fine if fit but not if you have walking problems or heavy luggage. Best to park outside (2 hours max), check in, leave luggage and go park up.

The hotel was ideally situated in the centre of Hull and very quiet considering the location. Parking at the hotel is available free, between 6pm and 8:30am, however if you need longer the hotel will provide a concession for a nearby car park. The staff were excellent and very helpful, at check-in, in the bar/restaurant and for breakfast in the morning.

Comfortable and clean, reasonably quiet. Helpful staff. Blinds in the bathroom didnt work, needed 2 hands to turn the taps on and off. Nowhere to put anything in the bathroom or hang up towels after use. Lovely shower, good wifi. Very good breakfast in a rather beautiful room. Would absolutely stay there again!

Clean and comfortable with great breakfast. The single rooms are small with tiny bathroom but adequate for me at 5’1”. I think a taller/bigger person might struggle so £81 is absolutely the limit for the size of the room. Nice and warm during the cold snap.

Lovely quiet room if a bit dark. Only interaction with staff was at check in and out as our room was along the road from the main building. This was different from a normal hotel stay but made it seem more that we were in our own apartment as a local, which was wonderful. Good size room and bathroom with a large walk-in shower. Small park across from the building and a friendly local pub at the end of the road. All in all a lovely relaxing stay.

Hotel is a bit run down in need of some works. Water pressure in the shower non existent. The bed was not comfy, the room overall was large and clean, the breakfast quite good and cooked to order. Very very noisy as walls are paper thin and some rooms overlook the rubbish bins and the rubbish collection happens very early in the morning.

I liked that it was within walking distance to the train station. I was going to a concert at Hull City Hall which the hotel was also very handy for. The staff on Reception were friendly and helpful. Also the people waiting on me at breakfast were attentive and nothing was a problem for them. I was made to feel very welcome and the breakfast itself was hot and delicious. I would recommend this hotel very much.

Lovely hotel, 10 mins walk from station and town centre. Given complimentary room upgrade at check in, from single room to spacious double. Lovely cooked to order breakfast, plus other usual options. All staff really friendly, from check in to breakfast staff.

Arrived 45 minutes early but checked me in and upgraded me too.Nice,friendly staff very helpful.One morning went down to reception at 6 am for tea and milk sachets the guy on there gave me a pot of tea and jug of milk. Matt.

We have had an excellent 3 day stay in Hull starting with the kind generosity and hospitality given to us by all the members of staff of The Kingston Theatre Hotel. We were warmly welcomed and informed about car parking. As a car park warden was wandering around that saved us a few bob and points. The food is tasty, well presented and the servings are generous. The staff are kind and considerate. They kindly shared their knowledge about the history of Hull and the hotel building, which we really appreciated.

The hotel was beautiful. A lot of old grandeur. The front reception staff were excellent. The night we arrived our shower temperature would not regulate and the young lady at reception took care of everything, she was the epitome of professionalism and at such a late hour.

I had a good couple of nights here. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. I was upgraded to a double from a single room. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was tasty. It is tucked away in a pretty little square of Hull centre, you’ll feel that you are somewhere else! No offence to Hull, I am from here and do love it but the town centre is not the prettiest! Well worth the money.

Fantastic hotel. Nice to visit a hotel with the personal touch rather than a large chain. Large rooms and so handy for when going to the theatre. Good choice at breakfast. I will definitely return and try the theatre dinner and room package next time.

Loved my stay, this was my first time in Hull and the listing made me think this was going to be a nice mid range hotel in the city. I loved this hotel the entrance at the far end of the road. This road had plenty of spaces even though I turned up after 11pm. The single room was comfortable and tidy and clean. The breakfast was delicious, a proper old fashioned English breakfast. The toaster cooked the toast perfectly and juice glasses were a sensible size. The staff were very friendly and I can’t recommend this enough.

We had a nice stay, the staff were so friendly, the room is so clean. We even had a chocolate egg for our kids. Overall, nice stay and we will choose to stay here again. One recommendation, the breakfast can have more variety , as a vegan, I was only limited to baked beans, mushrooms and grilled tomatoes and there was no sunflower butter spread.
