I was supper impressed at check in, even given directions to a local petrol station, food and drinks in the bar were spot on for me, the room was very good including underfloor heating in the bathroom, nice early breakfast allowed me to get on the road just after 7am, only slight negative was the EV charger is not working, I would still give a 10 out of 10 overall would have been a 12 if I could have got a charge👍

Checked in only to find out that the restuarant was not open so had to go out and get dinner. On the website parking is quoted as £5. Not able to pay this on reception so forced to use a QR and total cost including text and service charge was £6.39. Whilst it won't break the bank it is the principal of false advertising.

Basic hotel. Clean and comfortable. Unhappy about having to pay £5 to park my car overnight. This wasnt made clear, otherwise I would have booked somewhere else. Room was clean and comfortable but windows were sealed shut and didn't open. No amenities and no shops nearby.

Hotel was clean and comfortable, however you had to pay to park your car, which is ridiculous seeing as the hotel is at the side of a road with nothing around it, so non hotel users would have no need to park there!

Room tidy but not a Queen room I would call a Queen room , no better than a good travel lodge room On arrival no undercover parking as advertised On arrival met my not an over professional lady on mobile to friend eating half bowl curry placed on counter Then informed breakfast 7:30 not 6:30 as advertised so no breakfast as had to be away by 7am hence the booking Then told no chef so no restaurant , that’s not mentioned in advert or informed after booking , miles from anywhere as a visitor after travelling 4 hours , not what you want Corridors smelt dirty , over looking a scrap yard so not as advertised This is a serious case of false advertisement and I’m a regular user of hotels.com but this is the second hotel falsely advertised and the comments made , well , these people clearly have low standards or clearly no morals in sorry to say and I’m no snob, I can slum it with the best and have but when it says all the good things it says then you expect to arrive and find them Overall Very disappointed , would NEVER use that hotel again even if it ment sleeping in my car Need a serious review before advertising again and hotels. The hotel is clean and the room was comfortable. Decor is a bit dated in places but for the price paid it was good value. Breakfast was good. I didn't like that parking is not included. It's currently five pounds for 24 hours. I could understand this in a city centre location but this hotel is in a country side location with not much around it.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Big negative for me and a reason not to stay there again is: Not being able to open windows feels claustrophobic, I need fresh air and to me is a fire risk. Felt very uncomfortable also as there was a strange smell when we arrived - probably cleaning products as it was spotless. Also having to pay for parking in a place that can only be accessed by car is terrible. And if so it should be done by reception not separately online.

Disappointing to arrive just after midnight to find I had to pay £6 to park until 8:30 the following morning. Bedrooms are very dated and covered in dust. The ceilings in the room also look like they could come down any moment, with cracks and stains all over the place.

Overall we found this hotel to be really nice. They were doing some maintenance work, but it didn't interrupt our stay at all. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Price was acceptable. I would stay there again if i needed a place in the Leeds area.

When I arrived at what looked like a derelict building, I was completely ignored by three staff members who were chatting at reception. After eventually being checked in, I was told there was no chef on duty and that the restaurant was closed, far from ideal considering the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. The room itself was passable, but not particularly clean. I wasn’t convinced the bedding was fresh, the bathroom blinds were covered in mould, and the shower looked like it hadn’t been descaled in decades. Overall, it felt very much like a very low star hotel.

Arrived at 8 P.M. and informed that the restaurant is out of operation that week. No notification prior to the arrival. A cobweb hanging from the ceiling, Aircon unit not operational. Cold breakfast only, bar boiled eggs and coffee. This made for an interesting stay. No more Best Western for me, thank you.

restaurant was closed. Had to order a pizza. Windows in room was sealed shut and AC didnt work well. I spent the night with a wet towel on me to try and cool down. Breakfast was poor.

Was disappointing - when i got there no restaurant i had been driving all day. The AC did not work and was a warm day and you can not open the window either - so a very poor night sleep, and TV would not change channel. apart from that ok - Staff behind the desk not interested. Thanks BW.

Paid for Executive Room. Room was nice but air conditioning had broken down so room too hot and didn’t sleep very well. Windows don’t open. Breakfast was ok. Asked for poached eggs - first time I have ever been refused by a hotel. Bacon was greasy. Sausages were inedible. No staff available too talk to. Coffee, cereals, yoghurt and pastries were excellent.

Hotel reception was clean & tidy , the staff were really friendly & welcoming . The room was spotless , the shower wasn’t very good but it had a nice deep bath which was nice. The view from our room was over some kind of commercial yard - look awful & grotty. The main thing that concerned me was there was windows but then there was another window which was screwed round the original window so there was no way to open the window for fresh air , let alone anyway to escape if there was a fire in the hallway without smashing 2 windows. The room felt quite stuffy & there wasn’t even a fan but some old style air / heat conditioning.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, while checking out we spoke to two staff members, they were incredibly sweet and friendly - you could tell they genuinely care about you having the best stay possible. The facilities could use some updates but everything is clean and comfortable.

Service from all staff was excellent and friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable. Margaret in particular went above and beyond. Clean comfortable room, quiet and a great nights sleep was had Lovely cooked breakfast, grest continental selection, and friendly wait ataff. In all great value for money, will stay again.

When I arrived at what looked like a derelict building, I was completely ignored by three staff members who were chatting at reception. After eventually being checked in, I was told there was no chef on duty and that the restaurant was closed, far from ideal considering the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. The room itself was passable, but not particularly clean. I wasn’t convinced the bedding was fresh, the bathroom blinds were covered in mould, and the shower looked like it hadn’t been descaled in decades. Overall, it felt very much like a very low star hotel.

Basic hotel. Clean and comfortable. Unhappy about having to pay £5 to park my car overnight. This wasnt made clear, otherwise I would have booked somewhere else. Room was clean and comfortable but windows were sealed shut and didn't open. No amenities and no shops nearby.

Hotel was clean and comfortable, however you had to pay to park your car, which is ridiculous seeing as the hotel is at the side of a road with nothing around it, so non hotel users would have no need to park there!

The hotel is clean and the room was comfortable. Decor is a bit dated in places but for the price paid it was good value. Breakfast was good. I didn't like that parking is not included. It's currently five pounds for 24 hours. I could understand this in a city centre location but this hotel is in a country side location with not much around it.

Easy to find and lots of parking. Good on site restaurant with lovely breakfast at good price. Staff lovely and helpful. Bed was huge and underfloor heating in the bathroom a pleasant surprise. Just down the road is an outlet centre with lots of food outlets. Hard to beat for the price.

The hotel and the staff were really good. The bar area was clean and tidy with plenty of options whilst away for work. There was plenty on the menu and what I had was lovely. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help if there was anything I needed. The only issue was certain things in the room for when you are away with business were slightly lacking. There was no iron ironing board in your room. For the life of me, I could not get the heating to work and it was a cold night so the room was quite chilly. A couple of the light switches were damaged but nothing that couldn’t be worked around.. the Internet Wi-Fi speed was quite good. The other thing to point out is there is literally nothing around you so if you forgot anything you would have to drive to somewhere to get it. The downside was on my final night the fire alarms went off at 5 am and the staff commented on the fact that it had been a fault in the system for a few days which was quite annoying that it hadn’t been fixed as they were just trying to get the engineer out when it went off. Nothing would stop me from not using the place again.

The staff definitely the best asset to this hotel! The room was ok, bed VERY uncomfortable, shower a bit pathetic. Breakfast very average. Overall, zero motivations to return.

Very disappointed that the kitchen was out of action therefore no cooked breakfast or evening food available, Although the accommodation was acceptable my request for a walk-in shower at the time of booking did not happen. Clearly this is a venue requiring more staff.

Problem getting served in the bar due to lack of staff trying to cover several areas. Food okay but place looking tired and needs more staff. Unlikely to be back.

I stayed for 3 nights - property was supposed to have air conditioning (this is the middle of July 2026 and in a heatwave. The open areas all had air con, but certain rooms were not working. I was told that the air con was broken and engineers were supposed to be fixing it - no sign of any engineers and had no air con for the entire stay. The staff were all brilliant, but completely run off their feet. 1 person to look after reception and the bar/restaurant most of the time. The chef did not turn up for breakfast on the last day, so not only was the receptionist doing reception and waitressing, but also the cooking. Car parking is also paid for using an online system and cost £7.50 per night (it was free a few years ago). Food is tolerable, but I would advise people to find somewhere else, at least for the evening - The Chequers Inn a short drive away in Ledsham is excellent (if a little more expensive). No room cleaning was done during my stay, but I didn't put a sign out to say "Clean my room" so maybe my mistake. I will only use again if desperate.
