We really enjoyed our stay. The location is quite convenient. The club lounge access was quite nice and a welcome surprise. We enjoyed the pool and steam/sauna. Lots of areas around the first floor to just sit back and enjoy. The buffet breakfast was basic but no complaints. The staff were trying to manage the huge numbers to the best of their ability. Our room wasn’t cleaned until a few repeated requests plus my husband found the bed really firm and didn’t sleep well - but these were the only negative aspects to an overall good holiday!

We had a great time and customer service was lovely … but a workman was putting up window shield stickers and had them laid about on the pool loungers so guests could not lie down. The restaurant took one hour to bring our food in the evening which was average and over priced. The shower soap holder was rusty in the pool changing rooms and the steam room needs ripping out - cracked tiles and mould. Come on guys get the builders in !

Rooms were nice and comfy. Bathrooms were a little tired as is the spa area. Breakfast was a bit chaotic and we had to sit on temporary tables which weren't comfortable as installed the wrong way so no space for legs

Everything was great except for the swimming pool the bottom of the pool was cover in thick piles of dirt. I was told the pool floor is need of refurbishment but this dirt needs to be removed daily if its a known problem

Clean room, good location and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet was replenished constantly, it can get very busy so there may be a short wait for a table however you can wait in the lobby. The leisure center is good however when we were there the hot tub was not working.

Really enjoyable stay, great facilities (including pool, steam and jacuzzi). Really good breakfast. Will definitely look to stay again when in Leeds!

Very friendly staff with good service. Excellent breakfast. However, the overnight car parking seemed rather expensive.

Pool area very tired, but we heard is being refurbished soon. Odd to have to walk through reception in your swimming things. Room comfortable. Just all a bit sole less

Great hotel for my business trip to Leeds. There was a lounge for hotel guests with free food and drinks which was an excellent touch. Gym, pool and spa. I will return.

Room was great, front desk were lovely, breakfast staff and spa staff were great. Barman took a dislike to me, not sure what i did but overall really nice hotel. £18.50 per night to park the car is a bit steep though

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room had drink stains on the wall and dusty skirting boards. Behind the bathroom door needed more attention when cleaning. All the pillows were very lumpy and the bed quite hard, slept ok. But everything else was really good. Very kindly, a later check out of 12pm was allowed, my daughter and I wanted to shop in Leeds. Breakfast was excellent! Well stocked, staff were efficient with tidying tables and quick turn around time for cooked food.

Some problems with property conditions and cleanliness however the breakfast and staff is really good.

Booked 2 rooms and was surprised that o had to pay £35 for 1 night for parking ascwell as paying for breakfast as well so not happy about that .wrnt to pool and changing room was dirty and smell awful

The staff were fab. The room was lovely and spacious. The headboard could do with a clean . . Lots of dust in the creases. The steam/jacuzzi area could reslly do with a serious deep clean . .it was sadly gruby.

The room was fairly nice and was clean. The breakfast was okay, very poor coffee but nice food. The health club/spa was the worst part, we booked specifically for this and it was extremely over crowded and also dirty - spent chlorine smell was very apparent meaning the water likely wasn’t very clean either.

We had a wonderful time at Crown plaza Leeds last weekend. Impressed with staff, especially May [staff member] who served us at the breakfast. She was very kind and welcoming. She provided a lovely experience. The only thing I would say about property is, it require a bit of maintenance, like locks are broken pretty much in every room, water dispenser is out of order, side lights on the beds are not working and unable to connect TV with laptop and mobile for the entertainment. I hope when we visit next time these issues are resolved.

It was an average experience. I was really not happy to pay £143 for a night and get a mouldy bath rubber rug. Facilities definitely need refurbishment. Staff in reception were lovely and very professional.

Hotel is located in a decent location well within walking distance of city centre. The reception is nice and modern but that's about where it ends. Our room was dated and the bathroom was grubby and looked like it hadnt been modernised or refurbished in many years. Shower curtain was stained and bath didn't drain away. Lights in toilet were also flickering which was annoying. Bed was uncomfy and sheets were stained. Breakfast was an utter shambles. Waited 45 mins for a table along with numerous other guests. Nobody seemed bothered that the bread had ran out and all the juices were needing refilled. One waitress told me they had ran out of apple juice and 20 mins later someone was filling it up. We had booked to stay 2 nights and had to leave after 1 night due to a family emergency. Hotel refused to accommodate us with another night at a later date. Car parking has limited spaces which are very narrow so be warned! Definitely wouldn't stay at this particular crowne plaza again and overall really disappointed with the stay, service and customer service.

We had a great stay and enjoyed the breakfast. However, we had a concern about the key card, which sometimes doesn’t work, which can be inconvenient.

Stayed one night when attending a graduation ceremony. Room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Only thing stopping me classifying as excellent all round was the shower which had very little water pressure. Excellent customer service though, and special mention to the lady at the bar who went out of her way to find me a plastic bottle of water to take to the ceremony with me. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay, felt very special and with access to the Members Lounge included in the room fee, it was more than we bargained for! A really special touch. Only slight downside being that the beds were too firm and my friend resorted to sleeping on the couch! Also, the air conditioning could be stronger. There was nowhere in the hotel you could go to escape the sweaty heat. Besides that, a wonderful hotel that I would definitely visit again.

The shower did not have very good water pressure, but was passable. The room itself was fairly clean and of a decent enough size, beds were comfortable and clean. Aircon was available in the room but was also not particularly powerful. The window did not open properly, so there was no way of cooling the room naturally either. I was severely disappointed at the lack of vegan options for breakfast, there were no non-dairy products available apart from a couple of plant-based milks, so no yogurt or non-dairy spread for toast. The 'fruit salad' option was some orange and grapefruit segments and watermelon pieces. The hot breakfast options were limited to baked beans, hash browns and mushrooms. If you are vegan and plan on staying here, I definitely recommend that you save money by not adding breakfast to your booking. I suppose I should have researched this aspect before booking, but most of the other big chain hotels have significantly more vegan options available and I presumed this would be the same for Crowne Plaza. Staff were helpful and friendly, so no complaints there. All in all, it was an okay enough hotel for somewhere to sleep after a long day at the Leeds music festival, but I would hesitate to book a stay there again unless there were no other options.

Hotel was lovely!!! Clean rooms and public areas of hotel. Plug in sink didn’t hold water which was a problem for sterilising baby’s bottles and the beds were a little hard. Everything else great though, staff in restaurant/var particularly lovely for drinks and at breakfast!

The room was a nice size but the headboard and bed were close to the window so you could only get in from one side of the bed , not ideal getting up in the night climbing over your partner to get out of the bed 🤔 And the curtain track fell down in the middle of the night 😡 The receptionist was very good on check in and the Spa and pool were very good but that was the only plus points for the Hotel , tried using The Tap bar at 12.30 before we headed into Leeds but the bar tendor didnt know how to make any of the cocktails on the cocktail menu 😡 (she said she was normally on breakfast service 🙈)

Staff were excellent and generally the hotel was good with the exception of the shower in the room. It was very very poor - water came out at not much more than a trickle. Friends on another floor encountered the same issue so wasn’t exclusive to our room. We ended up using the showers in the health suite the following day (the health suite was fantastic).

Staff were super helpful and friendly, every one of them we met was great. Room was large but a little dated. Coat hooks and towel hooks were not provided. The pool was lovely though the changing area was a little worn out. Overall a great stay thanks to the super staff

Another fantastic stay. Staff are friendly and welcoming, the rooms and spacious and clean and the bed is comfortable. Really recommend. A special mention to the lovely Patrice, who checked us in with a smile and giggle, despite it being the end of a long day for her!

We had already pre paid for our stay and when my mum checked in they took her details and when we left they also charged her for the room so we were charged twice. This was refunded a few days later after I phoned the hotel but I believe these mistakes shouldn’t have been made in the first place and it was embarrassing as I had treated my mum for the trip for Christmas and then she was charged imagine if that had caused her to go into her overdraft and she incurred charges. So perhaps staff should be trained to give more attention to detail

No empathy applied when asking to move our dates due to a fam ill y pet medical emergency

The only thing that let the stay down was the check in. There weren’t enough staff for the amount of people queuing and one of the two staff present didn’t seem to know what they were doing. The bar staff were very helpful and efficient as were the breakfast team. All in all a very good visit and will definitely stay again.

All staff were friendly and as helpful as they could possibly could be. However one staff member did stand out “Yasser” in Reception, who was truly unwell but was desperately trying to hide it, with the biggest smile. He was so helpful and understanding when I asked if it was possible for a “quiet” room as my son is autistic…. He gave us a great room. He was always so welcoming and easy to approach as we needed help navigating Leeds and getting advice about where to go and how

I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Leeds and cannot speak highly enough of the incredible staff and service we received. During an unexpectedly stressful situation, the team showed exceptional care, professionalism, and genuine kindness. From the moment we needed support, the staff were attentive, calm, and went above and beyond to ensure we felt safe and looked after. It's rare to experience such a high level of compassion and attentiveness, and it made all the difference to us. The hotel itself is lovely and well-maintained, but it’s truly the people who make it stand out. Best hotel in Leeds! Highly recommend. I stayed this week. A most wonderful hotel, due to genuine warmth, friendliness and absolute professionalism of staff. Clean, smart, professional, relaxed, lovely food and drinks and just right. Excellent location. I was blown away by the great vibes of the staff team - their kindness, smiles and best wishes, and how well they helped me with all sorts of little things day by day like arranging food, adding nights onto my stay, check out times, room service, meals, room cleaning, bringing extra water etc. The reception team are all incredibly welcoming. I would like to personally mention Yasser on reception who I saw most. He couldn’t have been nicer and so professional to me and other guests. Thank you so much Yasser - you really made a tough for me much smoother and I really am so grateful to you. Thank you Jade, Abbey and Lily on the front desk from time to time and really appreciated all their help too. The bar staff were fantastic - Karl Titus Jeffrey and Sammy. It’s a very cool area and very relaxed. Thank you for great drinks and organising room service - I really appreciated and enjoyed the food and drinks and your upbeat hospitality. The breakfasts had a great selection, hot and fresh and all so well organised by Kevin. Really lovely start to the days thank you. The rooms were exceptionally clean and housekeeping brought extra water and big smiles every day, slept really well thank you Ellie and Sugar! Fabulous! 🙏❤️

The check in was very slow and there was a long queue of people waiting in. The 2 members of staff onthe desks clearly had a long list of questions which they were told to ask- is this your first visit to Leeds ? what is the purpose of your visit ? etc etc. The check in for each customer therefore took a long time at the busiest time of day, late afternoon. It would make sense to introduce a far swifter system in the peak hours of arrivals.

Extremely unhelpful when looking for early check in.

The front desk person when checking in was very rude. I had to wait about 15 minutes before I was helped. Two other staff members went to get her but still had to wait.

We had a great several day stay at the Crowne Plaza! Its location is close to great shopping, restaurants, and the train station. The hotel was lovely, staff was pleasant and helpful. Well stay there again on our next visit to Leeds!

Ideal location close to shopping areas. Located by a busy road but no noise heard within the hotel.

Handy location for airport bus and 10 mins walk to train stattion. Room was big with a sofa area as well as a desk. Mini fridge in room. Breakfast an ok selection and option of ordering different eggs. Pool good, you do need to book a time slot but we had not issues.

I loved the leisure facilities and the room was lovely. I wasn’t keen on the breakfast unfortunately but that’s a personal preference.

The hotel itself was fine. Location was good, with parking on site. Rooms were ok, nothing special but no issues. A bit over-priced for what they are. Biggest issue was food quality which was expensive but really quite poor. The ribeye steak was more like a minute steak and was so poor the waitress apologised as she served it. Breakfast was also straight out of a packet. Nothing fresh about any of it.

Service in the hotel was excellent. Currently the breakfast area is in a temporary room so isn’t great and the choice and quality of breakfast is fairly poor. On the upside we came for my sons graduation and the location worked with on site parking so it fulfilled its needs.

The hotel and its staff were fine and the food at breakfast and dinner was good. The hotel was some distance from an area of shops and restaurants so seemed a bit out of the centre. Also was a feature of our booking that it had a sauna, so was disappointing to find it was closed.
