Clean and comfortable with lovely reception area, cosy pub and nice restaurant onsite. Very conveniently located on edge of Leeds (15 minutes drive from centre). Ubers cost around £9 into city centre .

What a lovely surprise! When I learnt this was a conference centre, I was unsure, but it was the most conveniently placed for my work. I'm so glad I did. The whole ambience was lovely, with a spacious, warm, comfortable room and lots of TV options. Breakfast had a wonderful variety of top quality locally sourced food, and a bonus was the Stables Pub with real ale and pub classics like chilli, fish & chips, beef and ale pie. The icing on the cake was a £5 voucher for each day you opted not to have your room serviced (max 3 days). This could be used against anything on the premises. I hope to be back soon

The hotel is in a good location, close to pubs, restaurants and various tourist attractions. It has a country hotel feel being set in beautiful spacious grounds with ample parking (details must be registered!) My room was a little cramped with a comfortable bed and around the window bare York stone was a nice touch. The bathroom was a decent size with ample storage space. Most of the staff were friendly, polite and professional although conflicting information was given regarding offers on the catering in the hotel. The meals and drinks were a bit pricey but the room rate exceptional value.

I recently stayed here for a couple of nights. I arrived 1 hr before the check in time and was advised that no rooms were ready so I waited a while and was given the key for Room 18. I found the room to be in a poor state. The room was tired and needs to be redecorating. * The curtains were hanging off one side of the rail and didn't close in the middle. * Cobwebs noticeable around the curtains and window. * Remote control for the TV was filthy. *Teaspoon provided also filthy. However the biggest issue was found in the bathroom and the window frame was covered in black mould which obviously had been there for some time. The room was cold and when I asked for the heating to be switched on I was told it came on around 6pm and it could not be switched on in each individual room. After finding the mould in the bathroom and around the glass of the bedroom window my patience ran out and I asked for an employee to look at the room and explain the state it was in. The employee apologised for the state of the room and offered me another room for the remainder of my stay. This room was a vast improvement. What I do not understand is why Room 18 was deemed suitable for a guest to stay in? The mould in the bathroom was very pronounced. The window frame was black and, as mentioned earlier, this had obviously been the case for a considerable amount of time.

I had a lovely stay. The hotel was lovely and the room was spacious and warm. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The waiter even brought me a coffee over at breakfast. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Meals were generally good. My single room was spacious, though very basic and not great value for money. At over £100 per night, I didn’t expect the patched walls, unfinished window area and certainly didn’t expect what looked like black mild around the bathroom window.

Whole hotel was spotless. Room was spacious and was actually able open a window on a hot evening where plenty of other don't have tgat option. Dom went above and beyond to make sure all our guests had everything they needed.

I checked into my room. The window was open which is usual after a clean. However as I pulled the window shut the handle came off and screws and nuts fell on the floor. I could see both windows were I a very tired worn out state. Sadly we I told reception and gave them the broken handle it was not repaired which I thought very strange. I enjoyed the room and the bar and breakfast was very nice. Pity about the windows

I have stayed here about half a dozen times over the last three years as I have family nearby. It is a nice hotel, and I will stay there again. Beds are comfortable and the breakfast is pretty good. The only downside is that the WiFi has been very patchy on my last two visits.

Stayed here for work so booked a single room. The room size was perfect for what I needed, a double bed, tv, decent sized bathroom and everything for a good night stay. The carpet had a massive iron mark on it and wasn’t so clean, didn’t effect me for my trip bit worth mentioning. I was happy with the room bur unfortunately it backed on to the busy dual carriage way so noise from the road was quite bad and did wake me up a few times. If you want a quiet night request an room that didn’t back on to that road

Seemed very nice in approach. I didn’t need much just a room for a short stay . But the hotel has a few night lights lighting up the courtyard. One right outside my window and due to the curtains not fitting right to the edge I had bright light in through the window the whole night. Why the lights can’t be turned off through the night for a bit if customer comfort is beyond me. Spoilt what could have been a nice dtay

Overall very happy with our stay. Only some attention to detail issues. Our room was not ready on arrival. We didn't wait long but it wasn't as if we arrived early. Also we were offered drinks while waiting which I later found out we were charged for. Our tea and coffee was not replenished after the first night.

Every member of the staff was very friendly and welcoming from the moment we entered the reception area. The room was exactly as expected and was clean and very well presented throughout. There was a good selection available for breakfast and again the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our evening meals were taken at the Stables pub, the food was excellent and there was a good selection of quality beers on tap as well as a wide variety of other drinks. We were always served by Chloe who deserves a special mention as she was perfect in everything she did and made us feel right at home straight away. Overall we had an excellent stay and will certainly be returning. We could not fault a single thing or person at all, please keep up the great work you all do.

There were a few hiccups checking in with one staff member who just never smiled or helped and had a bit of attitude. But Ricki another reception staff made it much better she was superb!! The stables pub staff were awesome. The head of department manager at front als o made everything b better! Overall great stay and back on upcoming Friday!

We booked 2 rooms and despite arriving after 3pm the biggest room wasn't ready. We were told to come back later. I explained that I was disabled and that it would be difficult and the lovely receptionist moved our room to one ready immediately. She was kind and efficient. Thanks!

Dom checked us in and helped take our suitcase to our room, he made us feel so welcome, we will definitely be back to stay, he is an amazing member of staff, a credit to the hotel, as me and my wife are 80 yrs old.

We had an awesome time , it was my wife’s birthday and the staff treated her to champagne and a free sweet after lunch. The room was beautiful, very large and warm. Our stay was absolutely perfect, and I would recommend it to anyone!

Overall I would highly recommend, very good value for the price point. Check-in was poor (waited 50 min) due to an internet outage. Similarly no WiFi for the duration of my stay which I depend on for my work. No contingency for outages, even check-in. However rate everything else as excellent.

This is a very quiet location with a bus stop right outside the property which was very convenient. The property grounds are very peaceful with lots of trees. Location is about 1.1 from Headingly center. If you need to go to Leeds center and don’t mind the hot buses this location works. The room was very room, bed was comfortable. It was not the cleanest, but it was not gross either. We enjoyed our stay here. It’s about a mile downhill to Headingly Campus. If you stay in Headingly Center it’s a mile uphill.

Clean and comfortable with lovely reception area, cosy pub and nice restaurant onsite. Very conveniently located on edge of Leeds (15 minutes drive from centre). Ubers cost around £9 into city centre .

Asked for a quiet room - I rang the hotel itself and was told they'd make a note. Was given a room backing onto the very busy ring road and overlooking the restaurant delivery yard, so 4 nights of poor sleep. Breakfast was good but otherwise a really disappointing 4 days stay. Can't imagine I'd stay here again. Rooms at the front would be quieter but they were fully booked so couldn't move us.

The hotel is in a good location, close to pubs, restaurants and various tourist attractions. It has a country hotel feel being set in beautiful spacious grounds with ample parking (details must be registered!) My room was a little cramped with a comfortable bed and around the window bare York stone was a nice touch. The bathroom was a decent size with ample storage space. Most of the staff were friendly, polite and professional although conflicting information was given regarding offers on the catering in the hotel. The meals and drinks were a bit pricey but the room rate exceptional value.

Weetwood Hall Estate was all we hoped for and more. Great check in at Reception, our Cosy Double room had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy and facilitated a great night's sleep. We stayed for 2 nights so that we could explore Leeds. After chatting to the bar staff in The Stables Pub we found we could catch the number 23 or 24 to Leeds City Centre from the bus stop at the end of the drive. On the return journey the bus stopped outside Lawnswood Secondary School. Each journey £2.50. The breakfast at Weetwood Hall was superb and set us up for the day. Very comfortable hotel with helpful staff, but let down by a bar meal of fish n chips which was swimming in oil, making it very unappetising. I asked to speak to the chef/cook but they didn't come, hey ho 👿👿😭😭

Every member of the staff was very friendly and welcoming from the moment we entered the reception area. The room was exactly as expected and was clean and very well presented throughout. There was a good selection available for breakfast and again the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our evening meals were taken at the Stables pub, the food was excellent and there was a good selection of quality beers on tap as well as a wide variety of other drinks. We were always served by Chloe who deserves a special mention as she was perfect in everything she did and made us feel right at home straight away. Overall we had an excellent stay and will certainly be returning. We could not fault a single thing or person at all, please keep up the great work you all do.

The hotel look was incredible. Room was good. Good shower although dark curtain made it feel dark. Watch out for adding tips when buying a drink only in th restaurant! Ate in the pub and was tasty although would have liked a steak option as mainly burgers and pizza. Breakfast was my favourite part even having a pancake maker!

Sunday lunch was excellent but breakfast & evening meal next day was pretty poor. Fish undercooked & soggy batter, disappointing for the money charged! Hotel has seen better days - and needs a refresh inside (e.g. main house). Staff are helpful - but they seem understaffed and slow to respond. Had to wait over an hour for a pizza to arrive - despite repeated requests. So, an OK hotel with OK service. I won't be rushing back.
