Our check-in was quick and staff were very welcoming and helpful. On site laundry was free. You could buy pods if you didnt ha e your own. Only 1 washer and 1 dryer. Our air conditioner wasnt working right. We called the front desk and were told everything was working fine. The A/C would run for about 2-3 minutes before giving an error code and shutting off. The faucet in the bathroom leaked all over the counter anytime we turned it on.

Great place to stay to be near Manchester United games! Easy walk. Great staff. Super busy and they were polite and fast with check in and food. Also, free washer and dryer!

Myself and my colleague both had rooms directly next to the lift which was very noisy for a large portion of the night and in the early morning. The basin plug was dirty with lots of hairs stuck inside which was off putting. Everything else was great.

When we first got there for check in they couldn't find our booking! The room size was very good. And the shower was amazing with a nice long walk in. Loved the crabtree products in the bathroom. The resturant staff was lovely and the food was amazing. But the cleanliness of our room was a letdown considering covid ect. There must of been a child in the room previously to us as there was a lollypop stick on the floor by the table and chair. Also lots of stains all over the carpet and they must of drilled by the bedside as there was a small pile of sawdust underneath. For a hilton you especially expect the rooms to be spotlessly clean.

Fantastic room with a clear view of the cricket pitch thanks to a small balcony and huge windows. Room was extremely comfortable and well appointed, it was spotlessly clean and an absolute joy to stay here. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again, now my go to hotel while visiting Manchester.

Superb stay for the T20 match Lancs v Kent. Great views - ultra clean room in the newly built part of the hotel. Service was superb too. Need to have a table available on the balcony - everyone was using the ironing board !!

The hotel is nice and modern with good breakfast facilities, excellent transport links and could not of asked for more. Only spoilt by having a room next to the lift which you could hear going up and down all night. Don’t stay in room 332!

The room was amazing, the view of cricket grounds was just superb, the weather was super hot wish we booked another night BUT problem was sofa bed worst night sleep on that ever.. booked room for 3 ppl, 2 singles and sofa bed.. the beds just great but me on sofa bed was misserable the mattress on it was so thin could feel the bed bars, took mattress put in floor to see if better, but no mattress was lumpy as hell ..why such good quality hotel have such bad sofa beds wat a let down, and also 3 guests but only 2 cups, 2 glass, 2 teaspoons beds had 2 pillows sofabed had 1 .. nothin major that tho but its just common sense

A very welcome upgrade to a balcony room overlooking the pitch had us enjoying the rare experience of sitting in Manchester evening sun. All OK, but Hilton need to drag themselves into the 21st century by installing decent Internet and Wi-Fi. No point in having an Internet streaming TV when it's pathetic: result- no TV! That's not acceptable in a Hilton.

The staff at check-in and restaurant were excellent, especially Philippe who guided my elderly parents thru several room changes due to faulty rooms (broken toilet etc). He was very detail oriented and made the changes efficiently. Thank you.

I dont normally leave bad reviews, especially at the Hilton !. But we had to wait an hour for our room . Check-in was 3pm and our room wasnt ready until 4pm . I dont think this is acceptable considering checkout is 12!...and considering the price we paid!...

Very rude staff. The receptionist was very rude when we arrived. She told us to hold on 1min we she just stood there clicking on the computer. After she asked “what do we need?” We wanted an extra key card to access to our room which they also got wrong. She was very rude about it. Further to this, we tried the room service and they hanged up on us twice after telling us they will transfers us. Wouldn’t recommend!

The hotel itself was great, the check in clerk was really friendly and helpful and the view over the pitch was amazing to wake up to. My issue came the next day. I checked out and got to my office realising i had left my head phones on the desk in the room after taking a call on my way out - I checked my headphones location tracker and could see they were still in the room. I called the hotel and was told someone would call me back. I ended up having to ring twice over the next ffew days as i hadnt heard anything. I was finally told that nothing had been found. I checked my tracker again and could see that they had been removed/reset from my account a few hours after i had checked out. Meaning someone else had linked them to their account. The only people that would have been in the room (considering check in is in the afternoon) would have been the housekeeping staff. If you accidentally forget anything here, You will have no hope getting it back from this hotel. Very disappointed at the dishonest nature of staff.

Nice hotel. A little out of the way if you’re wanting to be closer to the city. Uber or can required. Just a shame that at the prices charged that there is no water in the room. Take some with you, or you’re directed to purchase some from the vending machine.

Disappointed that room would not keep atleast one bottle of water, sometime tap water is not safe. Breakfast timings is till 11am sat- sun but by 10.30 breakfast was closed. No fruits were refilled. Restaurant for dinner quite pricey and staff could smile a bit looked so grumpy. Not a high standard of even 4*

We only stayed for 1 night, whilst we were in the area. The hotel was very clean, despite the Test match crowd being in. The staff were pleasant, especially Gabriel, in the bar. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide choice of food, the Bacon and Sausage, both need a special mention, as they were excellent quality. Only downside was the queue for the 1 toaster and 1 Coffee machines that were there.
