Parking was safe but I did not expect that I would pay. When I checked the details it said there is a parking onsite and did not say we will pay otherwise we would not have booked it. Other hotels would have been better but when I saw that it had an online parking then I booked it. it. We could have booked a better hotel with lesser price with free parking. Not going back to this hotel

Had to think about the rating. On the plus side it is on a major street with many bus connections, the rooms are good size with separate living room, kitchen area, bed and bath rooms. Kitchen has full size frig, coffee maker and microwave. No oven or any dishes. There are washers and dryers on sight if you need to do laundry. Property is quite dated but rooms were clean with daily housekeeping. Breakfast buffet included and was ok.Tea and coffee available through the day.

Front Door is locked and you need to wait for someone to notice you at the door before they unlock it. I received an email with an offer for early check in and requested early check in but was denied because the hotel was “full”. it didn’t seem like there was anyone else on our floor. Parking should be free not an additional charge.

Writing right after check in. To come in after driving 7 hours at nearly 10 pm to stand in a line for 15 -20 minutes for checking in was not nice. Last time also I mentioned- parking is very expensive- nearby parking lots are available for lesssl than half the price. There should be a highly reduced rate for hotel guests. Staff are always very nice & kind including this time.

La moquette était également sale, ce qui ne correspond pas aux standards de cet hôtel que j’ai déjà fréquenté par le passé. This is a hotel that could be MUCH better than it is. The rooms are a great size, the breakfast was decent, but they seem to be “giving up”. Each morning I would leave the room and have to walk between two housekeeping carts parked right outside of my room. On each cart was a vacuum cleaner - our room hadn’t been vacuumed in what looked like weeks. The sheets were clean, the bathroom was clean, the kitchen was clean, but the carpets were filthy. This is a simple fix, and I’m not sure why this was overlooked. Additionally, the high dusting had not been done in a very long time as well. We went out on the balcony and had to avoid cigarette butts, and on our reenrry to the room, the back of the tv was covered in cobwebs. This hotel is in a great location for Place des Arts and a decent walk to the old port, but the lack of cleaning, as mentioned by others, is holding it back. The cleaning is the biggest drawback, otherwise this could be our “go to” Montreal hotel for weekends away. Also, the wood furniture is very worn, but they sell touch up markers that could really improve the overall look, and give the furniture an extended life. Just sad to see such easy fixes overlooked.

I stayed at this hotel the first time for a concert in April 2024 and had been really pleasantly surprised. It was nice and clean, with great amenities. I was back in Montreal for another concert on November 17 and this time, it wasn't as clean as it was last year. The floor in the bathroom and kitchen areas had not been swept and cleaned properly. There were dirty/sticky spots. There was also dust in the coffe ''accessories'' container. The rug in the bedroom area showed multiple stains (room 615). On the bright side: bed was clean though. Good location and good breakfast. Polite staff. But cleanliness should be improved and seems to have gone downhill since my first stay last year!

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel in Montréal. The location is excellent; right in the Quartier des Spectacles and only about a 10-minute walk from Notre-Dame Basilica, which made exploring the city very convenient. The included breakfast offered plenty of options, and the staff was consistently helpful throughout our stay. We booked the 725 sq ft studio apartment, which was very spacious and well laid out, with two TVs (one in the bedroom and one in the lounge). Housekeeping did a good job with the daily cleaning as well. The only drawback was the carpet condition. The carpets were quite dirty with noticeable large stains, to the point where we requested extra clean sheets to lay on the floor because we were uncomfortable walking barefoot. This was disappointing given the otherwise well-maintained space. Overall, despite the carpet issue, the hotel offered good value for money, and I would still recommend it for its location, amenities, and helpful staff.

Good location, the apartment was spacious. However, the hotel is very dated and not the cleanest. They only clean the rooms every 2 days. The bedroom had no main light, just a small bedside light. We were given disposable plates and cutlery for breakfast.We needed to use keys to access the hotel, breakfast area and lift. Overall, an ok for a short stay if you’re not going to stay in hotel for long periods due to the great location. Short walk from main sites in old town and a few metro stations.

The location is fantastic and the staff are very nice. I found the beds to be very comfortable. The breakfast was more varied than I had expected. The only glitch was when we first were assigned a room, it smelled of cigarettes despite being a no smoking hotel. However the staff quickly assigned us another room and there was no smell. This is a great spot for a Montreal visit!

Spacious, but dark (furniture, carpet, not enough light) bedroom. The kitchen needs some renovation and it is bare - anything you need, you need to ask for at the reception (plates, silverware, etc) Fairly well located hotel, close to old town and downtown. Good breakfast. Limited parking - when we arrived at the hotel it was full. But there are several options close by and they are considerably cheaper.

Only good thing is the location, and the bathroom was perfectly acceptable BUT the furnishings in the room were torn and tired. The bed although comfortable was much smaller than any we have had during our travels in North America; and as for the lighting - what lighting? meaning the room looked dark and dingy at all times. Definitely better hotels in the area.

Desk lamp didnt work, we thought toilet was cloged until they said hold lever down till it flushes. VERY dim lights in bedroom (king suite) Remote control was FILTHY! Good thing I bring disinfecting wipes. Hot food wasn't really hot. Lots of construction around building especially where we had underground parking. BUT staff was excellent, incredibly helpful. When we thought we had an issue with toilet maintenance was quick to respond. I'm giving it 4 stars because ALL staff personnel was fantastic, and that's what matters!

A lot of street noise. Bath tub was pretty small to stand in for taking a shower. Your air flow for ac to bedroom was terrible. And the lighting in the bedroom was not enough, tv in bedroom was nice though.

One staff: front desk never welcomed us at all, direct to the points of details like a bot. No smile, no how are you. Lucky there were other front desk staff that actually cared and was helpful and polite. Clean staff was very nice and accommodating. Inside the room, car stool by kitchen counter was chewed by a dog. All bites marks - pretty ugly, bedside lamp was faulty and questionable, room shows neglect by establishment (not cleaning crew)

The young lady who checked me in was wonderful. Very pleasant and accommodating. My checkout was good, I asked them to apply the parking credit and after checking with the manager, they did. Room was cleaned and larger than it expected after an upgrade. Breakfast was solid and I was able to catch it late into the morning.

The location is excellent. It is in walking distance of chinatown, old montreal, mcgill, notre dame. The neighboring area may be a little sketchy but i did not feel unsafe at any time. I brought my own room freshening spray and it helped with the stale smell. The free breakfast had plenty of options, eggs, bread, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal, coffee/tea/juice, hashbrown, fruit, waffles. The staff were very helpful. Would stay here again.

the hotel overall is not clean. We booked a room with a kitchenette, but they did not provide any type of dinnerware, utensils, etc. so we did not get what was the purpose of the kitchenet itself? Also, the breakfast room was very crowded, tables were very dirty, no one cleaned them.

Breakfast - Okay. However, we lived at room 425, terrible, thought it is an upgrade, there were flies inside the rooms, bathroom sink strainer was not properly kept, one piece came off. Bathroom and its vanity is kind of ruined/damaged, that requires refurnishing or renovation.
