This hotel is really really in need of an upgrade. The bedrooms are dated, the bathrooms are really quite poor (i had cracked sinks in 2 rooms , the enamel of the bath was missing in parts, and the bathroom mirror was peeling with lights out). There is a large gym space. Machinery is really old and rusting. The WiFi in my bedroom was patchy at best. However - all the staff are wonderful. Really lovely people, who did what they could do help

The hotel staff were very friendly and check in was fast. Our room was very dirty. There was a clump of long black hair on our bathroom counter. Stains on all the pillowcases and hair of different colours and lengths throughout the bed. Our whole floor smelled like an old bar/cigarettes. Our bed was also old or broken and sagged in the middle. We had terrible sleeps. While the location was great, staff were great, our room was dirty, old, and outdated. I would not stay here again. Overall 5/10.

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. Rui, Nelson and the front desk agent was very friendly and knowledgeable. The room was nice and big, whoever there is no lighting from the ceiling so the room was a bit dark, it was not a huge deal since I was out for most of the day. I will be back soon!! Thank you for the amazing hospitality!!

Excellent location (McGill U across the street, restaurants and shopping within minutes) and great views from higher floors. I'm giving this 4 stars because the rooms are aging (decor is several decades out of date, the pool and hot tub were out of order (looks like a while) and not a single USB port to be found). Nice gym and bar/lounge. Restaurant more like a Perkins with upscaled pricing. Overall though we'd stay again as rooms were large and clean.

The hotel was great for what we needed. It was a really sizable suite -- great for our toddler -- and the hotel was very accommodating. The downtown location was a little challenging, and there weren't a ton of restaurants nearby, but the concierge recommended some good restaurants that were kid-friendly. Restaurant and bar at the hotel were great and we appreciated that they were open late! One note that there was a rooftop club not far away from the hotel with some electronic music. It was a bit loud but it did cut out by 9pm (and it didn't bother the toddler with the sound machine on)

The thermostat was not working and we were told someone will come to fix it. We waited for sometime and never heard back. We called to find out and were told that they could not fix the s=issue and suggested to change the room. It was already 11:30 pm at night and we had a long drive ahead of us so we decided not to move as we had already opened our bags and settled down.

The wonderful staff at Hotel Omni always welcome you with a warm smile that puts you immediately at ease. It's a lovely hotel situated on Sherbrooke right near the best hotels, shopping, restaurants and museums. It's opposite McGill University if you're here for a tour, graduation or a class. Service is excellent and the hotel is run very professionally. Staff is the best from check in, servers, housekeepers and the trusty doormen and porters. I think of Hotel Omni as my home in Montreal. Stop in and have a drink at Alice and welcome newcomer Theodora and Alice's mascot, Ernesto, who has been here forever!

I am a frequent client of Omni ! Overall a good option and pleased. This time the service at breakfast restaurant and service was sub par .. First morning 3 guests but every table dirty and when we arrived couldnt find a table to sit .. They had no rush.... Second morning food quality poor . Bacon from day before became fake microwave bacon and sausage became uncooked hotdogs .. eggs cold sausage uncooked and cold and they did give a free breakfast but no offer to fix it as they just wanted shift to end .

I can confidently say this is one of the best hotel experiences I've had. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and bottle of complimentary water was a nice touch. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a great view. Locations of the Hotel made it easy for us to get around Montreal on foot and those times that we needed a car, valet brought our car to us within 10 minutes. This is the Hotel of my choice when I visit Montreal.

Wife and I were in Montreal for 4 nights to see a concert and Habs game. The Omni was a perfect location for us as we were able to walk almost anywhere we wanted to go or take a very cheap uber. The hotel is clean and comfortable, staff were very helpful and overall we very much enjoyed our stay. Would absolutely return next time we’re in Montreal.

Overall good stay. Staff at reception could be more attentive upon arrival with tired 2 year old. We booked a crib online, confirmed it again via text and it was not in the room upon arrival. Called reception asking for one and it never arrived. We ended up crafting a safe bed out of a sofa at the foot of the bed for our stay. No menu available in the room for room service from the bar or restaurant on site, asked reception for one and didn’t receive a full menu - ended up taking the tired family to dine somewhere else. Door men and Concierge staff were extremely kind and helpful. On-site dining was good, breakfast onsite is overpriced compared to what you can find in the area. Hotel is very clean, quiet and safe - Options for dining, shopping and entertainment are plenty and all within walking distance making the location excellent.

The staff at the reception desk and the concierges were really nice. I thought everyone had a good personality. My only issue was with the bar area, but this may be a different management. The bartender was nice, but the last day of our stay he wasnt there. 4 people were trying to serve 6 or y7 tables and it was a disaster. The pasta was terrible and cold, one young waitress kept walking by and couldnt help anyone, and there was no real bartender. Every drink order took forever.. That was august 17th.

The staff were excellent, both at check-in and recognizing the event I was celebrating in Montreal! They really made our trip feel special from the start. The cocktails in Bar Alice (in the lobby) were watered down, as is common in many bars/restaurants. Breakfast food was very good, although the restaurant is tucked away with no windows or view. The lobby bar is more attractive.

Only things I didnt like is that I noticed the taps in the bathroom could have been cleaned better (mold / build up of sorts highly visible when taps were turned). The room was of exceptional quality- very impressed. The location is amazing i was very disappointed with check-in. I arrived shortly before 3pm and the room wasn't ready. I was told to come back after 3 which I did, but it still took another 20 minutes to sort out a room.
