Very nice hotel! Would stay there again. Parking situation is not great but that is to be expected for the area

The hotel is located in a nice spot where the metro is near by and you can easily get around. The parking situation is a bit complicated, much of the street parking is by permit only or paid in a way where you have to constantly check the meter (via an app). I ended up needing to park about a 10 minute walk away and move my car in the morning. For the price the room is solid, plenty of space for a single or couple travelers. The room had a mini fridge and microwave. The bathroom was truly odd, everything was placed really close to the walls in a way that made it hard to use the facilities. The walls are pretty thin, you are going to hear anyone outside or in the hallway. Also the hotel does not say Olympia anywhere on it, its Hôtel Le Saint-André.

Close to the property. Walls are kinda thin. Other guest were not courteous about their volume at a late hour. Safe parking was not too far away. It would have great if they had an ice machine. But overall it was great, it was the second time i have stayed there twice snd have another booking 10 weeks from now.

The style is very modern, very clean, there was a pool table but unfortunately broken 😔, stayed on the third floor , walls are very thin u can hear other people Full sized fridge and kitchenet but no sink Wich is fine Close to a bunch of fun things to do Every store u need is 200meeters away was very convenient and close to downtown by 15min walk and train close by

We stayed for one night at this hotel It states that it has free parking, but they only have six parking spots Had to pay $30 at a different area to park Also, the door to the hallway is very thin and you can hear everything that goes on in the hallway A lot of crashing and banging was heard in the night Was woke up several times

Comfortable room, though a little noisy if room is close to the reception desk. No parking available however, which can complexity luggage management. There are a few public parking spots available walking distance.

It was very apparently recently renovated, and everything was clean. The elevator was a little scary, but other than that no real issues. The area around it is good, quite a decent night life just down the street but didn't penetrate the hotel itself. Staff was a little stand-offish but not in an offensive way, just efficient I suppose.

The few good things about this hotel: fairly clean, room was a comfortable temperature, and it’s located in a good area. Now the bad things: there was no shower curtain or door on the shower, and the second I turned the shower on, water literally sprayed all over the bathroom, drenching the toilet and floor in water. Went to the front desk to ask for more towels, waited there for 5+ minutes and there wasn’t a single staff member in sight. There was no soundproofing; we could hear people walking around all night long. The room itself looked like it was put together in less than 24 hours (exposed wires with no cover plates, holes in walls, etc). Bed felt like a cardboard box. There was music playing in the common area all night that we could hear from our room?? I’ve stayed in other hotels in Montreal with similar dingy conditions for half the price.

Propreté de la salle de bain train moyenne. Calcaire dans la douche. Poignée de cheveux dans la baignoire. Lavabo jaune. Quartier dangereux le soir

The room is not swept / mopped and extremely unclean . The bedsheet is unclean . Utensils are not clean . However , $150 deposit was taken for housekeeping . Highly unsatisfactory . Placing this on record because I suspect this room was not cleaned after the previous guest .

Not very clean. Dirty walls, floors, shower curtain very dirty. Silicon very dirty in the bathtub. Bed comfy but hair of someone else around 😢

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! I have stayed at many bad hotels. This is without a doubt among the worst. There were blood stains on the sheets and pillowcase. There was long hair all over the bed. There were multiple crusty boogers that had been wiped on the wall by the bed and inside the shower. The body soap that was left in the room was already half empty. The bottom of the shower curtain had mold and mildew. The wall tiles in the shower were missing grout in many places and it appeared the tiles themselves were barely holding on. The mini fridge reeked of hot dogs. If we opened the fridge the room smelled like uncooked hot dogs for the next 4-6 hours. There was no way to secure the window shade down so we were on full display to the neighbors in the apartment across when changing. There were dusty cobwebs around the windows. There was a weird dampness to all of the linens and our clothes after the first day. The elevator had an incredibly alarming squeal when you used it. Our room cards stopped working on the second day and we had to get them reprogrammed. According to the front desk if they're by your wallet or cell phone they have a chance of getting screwed up. The neighborhood itself is somewhat sketchy but that was the least of the problems. We booked 4 nights on Expedia but for some reason they only had us down for 3. It appears they were able to fix it without too much issue but a fair warning.

The room, while aesthetically pleasing, was rather compact and did not comfortably accommodate two occupants. Furthermore, several essential amenities were absent, including a hand towel, a bath mat, and standard soap. The cleanliness of the room was also below expectations. We recommend that the hotel prioritize improving its housekeeping standards and ensure all fixtures are properly secured. For instance, the towel rack was improperly installed and unstable.

Was not advised of the possibility of a basement room or lack of daily housekeeeping service. Bed not the most comfortable.

Location is great. Close to the village and many bars and restaurants. Place has been updated, and rooms are spacious, but not the greatest quality. Our shower handle was broken and the fourth floor isn’t accessible by the elevator, so you have to walk up stairs. In general, it’s a great spot for a quick visit if you want to spend time in the village!

Very noisy, could hear staff speaking very loudly at reception late at night. Could also easily hear pool table very late at night. A lot of light pollution in the room, blinds very inadequate. Otherwise clean and comfortable.

Best stay I’ve had in Montreal. In the heart of the gay village, and staff were so accommodating. Rooms are very modern with microwave, mini fridge, and toaster unlike most hotels. Very tall rainfall shower (I’m 6’4 and had plenty of room). Only thing is walls are thin so if you plan to have a noisy night… don’t or atleast invite your neighbours lol.

Had a nice stay at this hotel! Location was perfect to enjoy Just for Laughs and was very close to transit and dining. We found the area and the hotel itself to be a bit loud but that wasn’t a problem. There were no extra amenities but that was expected for the reasonable price. Very friendly staff!

Such a wonderful welcome after a long journey. The team here are just lovely, friendly, helpful and go above and beyond. The room was spotless and the bed was difficult to get out of because it was so comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable and pleasurable stay.

Special thanks to the manager and the guy at reception in the mornings...they helped me a lot while checking out and were extremely kind.

Never in my life have I been asked to pay a fee for a hotel holding onto my luggage pre-check in. The room was not ready for us because we arrived in the morning, fair, however the guy at the check in tried to charge us $20 to hold onto our luggage while we walked around during the day, and when we refused he took them in for storage anyway. Leads me to believe he was trying to scam us. After that we limited our interactions with staff during our stay. The room itself was really small, had all the amenities we needed. The walls are thin so we could hear the neighbours often.

- Still waiting for the 250 CAD deposit four days after the check out, I called but nothing happen. - Poor isolation, we can hear people in room above and people walking in the corridor. - No coffee, coffee machine or cups in rooms - Need to insist for housekeeping, towels changed once for a 7 night stay.

A couple days before the check in date. A hotel staff contacted us about the payment problem and asked for the credit card CVC. We felt unsecured and didn’t give the CVC. However, we told the staff that we’ll make a payment again at the hotel and she’s OK. When we arrived the hotel, the hotel staff (not the same person who contacted me earlier) didn’t mention about the payment problem. After that, we checked the credit card balance and the transaction has been completed. We just wondered if the hotel needs the CVC because some payment problems, how they can change to the credit card? The hotel staff told us to park at one location (which was a public parking), but once we arrived there, the staff at parking lots didn’t allow us to park. The hotel staff helped us to find other public parking spot. However, it wasted our time for about an hour just for finding place to park our car. We made the reservation for a queen bed and finally we got single twin beds. We told the hotel staff and a room keeper helped us to move the twin beds to close to each other. The room was clean. The hotel staff was nice and helpful (not the one who contacted us about the CVC).

Hotel is excellent and very good price, however both interactions i had with the staff were disappointing, the checkout was painfully slow and the person that checked me in at night was plain and simply rude and uninterested and made us wait about 25 min before he showed up. Other than that, the hotel was clean and in excellent condition.

The staff were excellent, they helped with parking (paid, limited parking is available on site) and getting checked in and out was quick and simple. The room was nice, however there was very little air circulation and no fans within the room. This made it extremely humid after having a shower that lingered for the duration of the stay (2 nights) and make it uncomfortable and hot after arriving back at the hotel from a day of walking. The shower also has a leak issue, which likely contributed to the humidity. One wall of the room is a rocky/brick accent, which looks nice, but resulted in a lot of dirt and dust accumulation on the floor, feeling as though it doesn’t get swept very often. Overall, a fine place to stay for a shorter duration.

Clean rooms. Hotel was centrally located and convenient for access to shopping and restaurants. Staff was helpful and service was prompt for any issues that required attention.

This hotel is a great place to stay, conveniently located near everything in the gay village. The internet connection is also excellent. I’ve been staying here since it was called Saint Andree.

The staff at this hotel are exceptionally friendly, which made my stay all the more enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend it. It’s conveniently located within walking distance of the large parking garage near Berri-UQAM (formerly the bus station), which offers affordable rates. You can also easily reach the Latin Quarter, Old Montreal, and the heart of the Gay Village on foot. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, making it a great base for exploring the city. I’d gladly stay here again.

Good location. Just a few steps off of Rue St. Catherine, which had a number of restaurants and a grocery store, and 3 blocks from Berri UQAM subway station. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Front desk is bilingual and helpful.

The area was located close to the Metro but it’s not the best area to stay. A lot of homeless people and very very dirty.

the price was almost double the usual price which I understand is depending on availability, but on top of that had to pay an extra non refundable charge PER DAY for having 2 ppl (including myself)... for a room that is literally a 2 bedroom/2 person room. Was told I booked as 3 people which I did not, as confirmed by Expedia, but still couldn't get a refund or credit or anything. and bathtub was dirty. No breakfast but had coffee. other than that the room itself was small but really nice and the area was convenient

The hotel has been nicely renovated recently. We used to enjoy a personalized room service breakfast. Sadly now it's just a help yourself affair in the lobby with no staff oversight. Everyone handles the same jar of peanut butter, the same stick of butter.and the same loaf of bread. A great way to spread a virus! Our room was not cleaned on a two night stay and the bathtub had not been cleaned ever. A great location near a metro station.and the gay village. But not for the faint of heart. This neighborhood is plagued homelessness with mental health patients who are left to wander the streets under Canada's so called health care system. We never felt unsafe however.

The property was advertised with room service but there was none available. Our room also had no tea and coffee making facilities or cold water available. In the foyer there were coffee pods but no milk available.

La chambre était jolie et propre. Pas de café disponible dans les chambres. Il faut aller à la réception , pas de lait, ni de sucre fourni. Vous devez fournir vous même si vous voulez avoir un café dans la chambre. Je vais y retourner c'est certain. C'est bruyant à cause de ceux qui rentre tard et ne font pas attention mais j'ai l'habitude d'amener des bouchons d'oreille dans les hôtels. Car on sait pas qui seront nos voisins d'à côté. Qualité prix, ça vaut la peine. J’ai même ete très surprise de voir une belle chambre et de sa propreté.

Nicely renovated, and helpful staff, who moved me into another room when my first one was too noisy. Breakfast facilities in the lobby are minimal and do not include seating, but Cafe Lulu, about a three minute walk away on San Catherine, is a great place for breakfast.

It was ok . I was just disappointed about the breakfast. The choices are poor, the lady who was responsible if serving didn't know how to use the coffee maker. The wait was long so I had to go eat outside . I stayed for 2 nights and didn't had the chance to have my breakfast from the hotel.

Having read conflicting reviews I decided to stay there for location to the metro and price. The room and bathroom are compact, large shower, both were clean. Good bed and bed sheets. Coffee in the lobby sometimes sugar no creamer so if you don't want black coffee ! The floor creakes. The alleyway on the side of the building seems an attraction for drunks yelling in the night. All in the property has been updated and certainly not an unpleasant place to stay. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

nous avons sejourné 2 nuits dans 2 chambres differentes dont la 1ere avait 4 lits à etages alors que nous avions demandé un lit double nous etions 2. sur la photo de la reservation il y avait meme un coin cuisine dans la chambre double que nous n'avons pas eu (prix 228 eur la nuit tres cher) Petit dejeuner servi avec couverts en plastique, bidons poubelles pour eau chaude, café et lait, pain de mie industriel dans sachet plastique degoutant, cereales colorés semblant croquettes pour chien, vitres salle du petit dejeuner tres sale (nous avons du aller acheter du pain du nutella et des cereales pour le lendemain) salle de sport avec appareils cassés pas de papier pour nettoyer les appareils pas de serviette. Jamais vu un hotel dans de telles conditions, tres cher et tres mediocre. nous sommes tres decus, tres mauvaises experiences pour notre fin de sejour à montreal (2 dernieres nuits)
