As a woman travelling alone and arriving in the middle of the night, I felt completely safe here. The 24-hour- front desk staff was welcoming and spoke fluent English. My room was clean, spacious, and the king bed was extremely comfortable. I was surprised that my room came with a full kitchen (you can even have the staff deliver groceries). The room was quiet. There is a clean basic gym (with incredible city views) and a beautiful indoor pool on the penthouse level, where you can also go to an outside deck for a great view of the city. The area is walkable, felt very safe, amazing shopping and food within a several block radius. I would definitely stay here again.

Easy check in , smiling and friendly clerk, wonderful large room with full kitchen , nice rooftop deck, pool and fitness room. The location is perfect for visiting Montreal attractions. We arrived by train, an easy walk from Central Station. If you need an expansive lobby with shops, etc. Look elsewhere but if you want a large, clean well-appointed place to hang your hat, this is a great spot.

This centrally located hotel was excellent and wonderful in all ways: a large comfortable clean and quiet room which included a sizable well-equipped kitchen area. The front desk staff was always available and helpful with needed information about accessing the city spots we wanted to visit. The included continental breakfast included many options and very good coffee. The rooftop pool and exercise area was clean and had a great city view...I will return to this hotel on my next trip to Montreal.

Great hotel. Suites are spacious and very clean. Also great soundproofing ! Breakfast was busy but we took out food back to our room for a more relaxed breakfast option. Air con isn’t noisy like we find in a lot of hotels. I’d definitely recommend this hotel, particularly for family stays. Oh and the pool and rooftop terrace are a great too !

The family suite was huge! Highly recommend. It had a king bed in a separate room (lock door), a queen bed and a pull out couch. The kitchen was fully equipped and spacious. Great for a family with teens who are too big to share a bed. And way more affordable than getting two rooms. Great place, only 10 min walk to old Montreal and the mentro. Staff were very nice. Pool was a little cool but nice for the kids. Room was quiet at night. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to shopping and restaurants as well as a Metro stop. The top floor pool, deck and workout room are nice, and the valet parking was quick and easy. The free breakfast was great, although a bit crowded. Overall, a great place to stay for either a short or extended stay, since the suites come with an apartment size refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave. On-site laundry facilities are also available.

Hotel close to walkable areas ( restaurants, mall and the port area) parking is valet only with 35$ daily fee. Breakfast is basic continental ( bread, cereal ,yogurt and only boiled eggs every day. They need a small ramp for strollers or wheelchairs

Room was spotless, bed was comfortable! The only thing was that the pillows were a bit lumpy, but it didn’t stop me from getting a good nights sleep! Location was perfect, walking distance to a lot of places I wanted to go. The staff was also very nice and helpful!

Pros: convenient location; walkable; very large, spacious room Cons: mouse came into our room, was offered a different room at no charge but the mood & memory of our stay was tainted. If 1 mouse is found, that means there are at least 9 more somewhere. Conclusion: Although the location was convenient and walking distance from main train terminal, cleanliness & rodent problem ruined our stay. Do not recommend.

The staff were all awesome, and we love the spacious, and very well maintained rooms in this hotel! We needed the plumber and he came instantly and was very pleasant. The lady cleaning the rooms was also wonderful!

We stayed in a Loft Suite on the 9th floor. It was very big, bright, spacious and most importantly clean. The decor and furniture were a little dated compared to some newer / renovated buildings but that didn’t matter to us. The space we had with the kitchen, two large bathrooms, two beds, living area and pull out was perfect for us as a family of 4. They have a coin operated laundry service up where the gym and pool is so it was great to be able to occupy yourself while clothes was being washed (we stayed for 5 nights so we needed to avail of this) without going far from your clothes. The location was absolutely perfect. 10 minutes walk from Bell Center, 4 min walk from Eaton Center, cafes, drug store, restaurants all around saint Catherine street. It was perfect. 10/10 would recommend if staying with kids or staying for a longer stay.

This is my 2nd stay here and I love the big rooms with full kitchens. The bed is very comfortable. It's walkable to the Via train station, the Metro, lots of shopping on St. Catherine 's St, music and arts venues and old Montreal.

Le Square Phillips Hotel is always a great stay. Rooms are large, clean and the valet parking is wonderful. Location is perfect! Walking distance to the Bell Center and great restaurants. Breakfast is included and the amenities are amazing. This is a hidden gem in downtown Montreal.

The location was prime for walking to many places, we were able to keep the car with valet & take it out anytime, the studio included a full kitchen, the bathroom was elegant & spacious, and the staff were all very pleasant & helpful. We were notified in advance that there was some construction ongoing nearby but we did not notice a disturbance.

The hotel is very convenient in terms of location. It is within a 5 minute walk to the main station and also a metro station. It is about a 20 minute walk to the old town/port - it is a lovely walk in terms of architecture, shops and restaurants on the way. Our room was spacious and clean.

Room was spacious and very clean, equipped with a large fridge, stove, dishwasher, keurig, toaster, and microwave. Perfect for those staying one week or longer. There were keurig cups but no tea in the room, and hotel staff could not provide me tea as well. Hotel breakfast could really use some improvements. No maple syrup (we’re in Quebec!), no eggs, and no dairy-free milk options. Just some breads, cake and a few fruits. Pool and fitness centre were nice. There is no room service that I’m aware of. If you need food or anything you need to leave the hotel and buy it yourself. Go grocery shopping once you check-in.

Das Zimmer war sehr großzügig, das Petsonal sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück ist mit europäischem Standard allerdings überhaupt nicht zu vergleichen. Der Frühstücksraum gleicht einem Besprechungsraum, der aus mehreren Tischreihen bestand. Die Speisen waren in Plastik verpackt, es gab nur gekochte Eier, keine anderen Eierspeisen, Toast, Kuchen aus der Packung. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Der Pool in der oberen Etage und die Aussicht von der Dachterrasse waren wundervoll.

Spent 5 nights with extended family-so happy with our choice. Loved the valet parking, which was a reasonable price. Five of us stayed in 2x Queen loft-so spacious and excellent kitchen. Having the extra half bath was also so convenient! Highly recommend, we will be back! Great value for money and amazing location! The breakfast room does get busy, but decent choices and staff help to move people through-we had no problem getting a seat or a tray to come back to our room! No complaints!
