The hotel itself was decent (clean, in an excellent location). However, the underground parking for those who have a vehicle to park was awful. The way that vehicles are allowed to park in the space is problematic. In a very narrow lot, cars are parked along the side of the ramps (these are not official parking spots) making an already narrow two lane section only one way with vehicles trying to drive in and out around tight corners. We were unable to safely manoeuvre in the tight space and our vehicle sustained damage. The hotel is negligent in the way it allows its underground parking to be utilized.

Check-in was easy, the parking garage is tight, be prepared. But thats expected. Room was perfect, but was cold on arrival as was the window. Nothing that raising the heat cant make it better. Great experience for a 1st time in Montreal. Close and walking is the way to go

Enjoyed the area of old Montreal however the hotel was average at best . Rooms were okay however both sinks drained extremely slowly. Entrance to hotel very tight as it’s off a one way alley. Parking extra and also very tight for larger vehicles.

My son ended up with bed bugs. Very smelly musty and dirty hotel. His arms were covered and they denied it but I have pictures. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

The hotel lobby has a distinct musty smell, like there is standing water present. The room we got, despite having booked a few months in advance, was right on the corner by the elevators and faced a narrow alleyway where there were all kinds of loud sounds - motors, people, etc., On top of that, the beds were stiff like cement and the pillows thin and deformed. We couldn't sleep our entire stay. The room and furniture are outdated. They have a strange rule that housekeeping will do a "light" clean-up (new towels, making beds, trash, and vacuuming) daily and a "full" clean up every two days. During our stay, we were provided clean towels and beds were made daily, but that was it! Dirty towels were not picked up off the floor, room wasn't vacuumed, trash wasn't emptied daily. Finally, the staff isn't the most courteous. The only plus for this hotel is its location-right in the middle of Old Montreal.

Notre séjour a été extrêmement décevant. Le système de chauffage était à la fois inefficace et excessivement bruyant, rendant le sommeil très difficile. Lorsque nous avons signalé ce problème à la réception et demandé s’il était possible de proposer une solution alternative, il nous a simplement été conseillé d’utiliser des bouchons d’oreilles — une réponse totalement inacceptable et désinvolte. De plus, le choix proposé au petit-déjeuner était très limité et ne correspondait pas aux attentes pour un établissement de cette catégorie. Le ménage était également en dessous des standards : les sols n’étaient pas correctement nettoyés, avec de la saleté provenant de l’extérieur encore visible pendant le séjour. Dans l’ensemble, cette expérience est très loin de ce que l’on est en droit d’attendre d’un hôtel Marriott 4 étoiles. L’écart entre la réputation de la marque et la réalité de notre séjour est frappant et profondément décevant.

Not very clean. Hairs in the bathtub and it could use a good dusting and vacuum.We did not get two queen beds in either of the two rooms booked. That would have been fine because the rooms both had pull out sofa beds. The condition of the mattress on the pull out was pretty gross and the bed was not made up nor did it have any kind of protective mattress cover. We made it work for one night. The location is ideal.

Very nice hotel located on a quiet side street in old montreal. Very walkable to old town, port, Notee Dame. Hotel has been newly renovated - very nice but some finishes need adjusting - our bathroom door didn’t close completely and there were limited storage options for clothes. Overall I’d consider staying here again.

This property is not as advertised There is no restaurant or bar on property no place for breakfast…. We asked on our second day for house keeping left the room at 9 am and returned at 6:30 pm to find house keeping was not done even though we specifically requested it. The room it self was renovated but poorly designed if your going to mount a tv which can’t be seen from the bed then spring and extra $25 for the wall mount that can swing the tv screen over….the best thing about this hotel is the location… it is right in old Montreal and great to walk to places if you don’t mind bare bones minimum standards then it’s a good place

We had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. Despite raising our concerns multiple times with the staff and managers, nothing meaningful was done to address the issues. On August 30, 2025, the room directly across from ours was given to wedding guests who treated it like a party space. They constantly made noise, shouted in the halls, let children play loudly, and slammed doors at all hours as people came and went. We first reported this in the afternoon because we could not rest, but the disturbance continued. That night around midnight, we were woken up again by shouting, kids running around, and non-stop door slamming. Even after we complained again, nothing was resolved for over an hour. The next morning, after our third complaint, we discovered the disruptive guests had propped their door wide open with a bin, shouting and speaking loudly as if the hallway was theirs. When we raised our frustration yet again, the supervising staff told us the guests “had the right to keep their door open.” This response was shocking and showed complete disregard for other paying guests. This was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The management failed to ensure even the most basic standards of peace, respect, and hospitality. I would strongly caution anyone considering staying here.

The hotel was recently renovated and is very nice. Rooms are large and comfortable. It is close to everything in Old Montreal. You won’t need a car and can walk everywhere. Parking is right next door and they had a handicap spot for my mom which really worked out.

parking was a hassle. Not a lot of spots in the garage. Also the breakfast area had way too much rush and they run out of bacon yogurt milk etc. and it was not replenished soon enough. Like we found out they had items once we were done because they had run out when we were in line to get it. Apart from that it was good. Great location etc.

Was a pleasant enough stay, Room design is nicely done . Quiet night on floor chosen . I had another hotel booked but switched to this upon discovering this one had breakfast included . My experience was lowering review as a result of terrible breakfast. Arrived at opening 7am, how were the pancakes already cold? Why were the sausages mushy and felt undercooked ? No white/brown bread for toasting , only bagels. Hard croissants. Minimal fruit . Finding garnishes was challenging , maple syrup was empty , no butter or margarine out . Breakfast was unappealing and a letdown. We needed up eating a kashi bar in the car when we left. My bed was painfully uncomfortable, and when turning down the sheets to sleep there was unknown material on the sheet like it hadn’t been changed. I’d been awake for 18 hours at this point so slept on top of the sheets instead. Parking is stressful as there’s not enough spaces for the number of guests they can expect and the one ways around there can make it challenging finding the parking opening.
