Amazing small boutique hotel well located for easy access to old and new Prague. Breakfast was fantastic every morning in the cave. Room was perfect, updated and comfortable for our family of 3. Well kept, service was impeccable and air conditioning worked well for a hotel of this age. Two warnings. There is no lift so unless you are on the first floor take into account a narrow, steep staircase to carry luggage and up and down a few times a day, for us not a problem but for those with mobility issues could be. Bar, open lobby area is limited and is in the sister hotel The three storks right next to Waldstein. Not a big deal but we were two traveling families that like to play cards, visit at night and that was difficult here ( and I am sure lots of other hotels in Europe) Stay here without reservation. A gem, great value and a true treasure.

Very nice hotel, with a great location! The building is beautiful, and the staff were very helpful. The only potential issue is that there is no elevator, so you have to carry your suitcases up the stairs.

Such a lovely hotel, as pictured, great location, close enough to walk Prague Castle and the Charles Bridge but on a quiet cul-de-sac, public transport close by also. Great breakfast! Excellent air conditioning! Helpful front desk staff (check in is at neighbour hotel, very close).

We loved our stay here. It’s a beautiful place and the location is great but everything dies down sooner than old town. Our room was facing the parking lot and we didn’t experience any noise on the top floor. There are no elevators but they can help you move your stuff upstairs. The valet parking was very convenient and had our car ready in front of the hotel at the time we requested it. The hotel staff were very friendly and gave us a lot of good advice.

The room was very nice. Big, clean, well decorated and very appropriately equipped. The place is very quiet- hard to imagine that it is located right in tye city center. Location is perfect- easy to walk to all major tourist attractions, and endless variety of places to eat and drink around. Staff were very polite and helpful. Parking is available only as valley parking, it costs 40 euro per night, and they take your car to some place far away. Your car is inaccessible while away, and you need to say beforehand when you want it back. Breakglfast was nice, with good variety. All in all, this is a good hotel in a perfect location. Having said that, in my opinion it is overpriced, especially considering it has no additional facilities (no gym, no swimming pool, and even the reception is at the building next door). Would stay again, if the modify the price.

Location is perfect. This was my fourth stay at this hotel. I would give it a 5 , but since they remodeled and took away the parking, I find this to be a big inconvenience. The park house they use takes over 20 minutes to walk to. Breakfast was very good along with the lady who worked it, very attentive. Hotel clean, friendly staff.

We loved this hotel. We had the Deluxe 2 bedroom. It has lots of room, the beds are very comfortable and the living room in the middle was really nice. Breakfast every morning is very good. The hotel was SO quiet since it's back in a corner. Cleaning staff is very good and thorough. The location is perfect, easy to walk to the trams or metro, Charles Bridge, and much else. I would definitely recommend.

Clean, trendy, perfect location, near the city center with multiple restaurants within walking distance but very quiet. Hardwood floors, no carpet and heated bathroom floor was perfect. We had a suite with two rooms suitable for ourselves and preteen/teenager which was perfect. The hotels also sent us a taxi for pick up at the airport. Price with the hotel taxi very reasonable. Desk clerk speak English but you can also use google translate.

The location in "Lesser Town" beneath the castle was fantastic. While it did mean an addl 10-min walk to attractions in Old Town, it was worth it! We were 5 min walk to Charles Bridge, 3 min walk to the tram/street cars, quiet (Old Town is loud and busy!) and nestled among a labyrinth of cobblestone streets and alleys and each time you look up, you see Prague Castle or St Nicholas. We LOVED the location and the quiet. Our room was wonderful (2 adjoining rooms w sitting room) and the breakfast room underground is really fantastic!

The staff were great and our stay was pleasant. The hotel is a bit off the beaten path and sequestered nicely in a dead end so it was quiet during the night. You’re still situated right by the action with the castle a short walk away and the main bridge is down the street. The complementary breakfast was amazing. So many amazing options that were fresh and hot. I was grateful to have it after a morning hike in the area. The room was nice, heated floors in the bathroom were so posh. Beds were comfy and the room was clean. We didn’t need parking but it looked like they had a good amount of space if you need it!

10/10 stay at this hotel! Staff and service, especially Petr, was great and very friendly. Family room was very spacious with a queen and two twin beds, perfect for our family of four. The room has AC. There is 24/7 reception present. Location was great right next to the Palace and famous Bridge. We paid for parking which was great, we left our car and walk everywhere. Great breakfast buffet with a little bit for everyone. Overall I would recommend this hotel!

Historic place. Great breakfast. Comfortable room. Walls very thin so I could hear others speaking in nearby rooms. Other people staying in hotel were nice and understood this issue and were respectful at night. However, if they were loud and stayed up very late, it would be a najor issue. Hotel staff were very nice.

I really enjoyed my stay at Waldstein Hotel! Prime location, very private and charming. Room was on the smaller side but very well equipped. Michaela at the reception was very helpful and made me feel welcome, thank you! Overall highly recommend this hotel.

Pros; - Great location right below the castle - Affordable - Clean - Decent included breakfast - Decor is a good mix of historical and modern - About 30 min from the airport with Uber Cons: - No oat or almond milk; only soy. - No bar soap - Expedia was dishonest that Waldstein has its own reception. This is “technically” true but all their guests are managed through the three storks location even during regular working hours. This matters because… - I twice had to carry my checked and carry-on luggage manually across cobble stones which prevent rolling. This would be impossible for disabled or weaker individuals. No assistance was offered. - Some rooms are considerably worse than others. Booking several months in advance will not put you in a better room. - Overall, just book at The Three Storks to avoid disappointment and back injuries. The staff are only mildly interested in addressing these issues.

This is the ideal location to stay in Prague. It’s only a 6 minute walk from Charles bridge, yet ideally situated away from the tourist trap areas of Old Town. The staff at Three Stork (the sister hotel of the Waldstein) insisted on carrying the bags upstairs for us. They were available 24-7 for anything we needed. A delicious hot and cold breakfast is available from 7 to 10:30 am daily at the Waldstein in a quaint stony cellar. Unlimited coffee is available in the room from a Nespresso machine.

This hotel was splendid. The room was a comfortable oasis after a long day of exploring the city. The breakfast is fantastic. The location is amazing. We stayed in Prague in December on the other side of Charles bridge. It was also a great location, but we much preferred being on the side of the river. The courtyard was beautiful and the hotel being tucked into a little corner area was incredible. Most things are very walkable, but there are trams very close also if you want to go further.

We had a wonderful time in the historic hotel. Our room was beautiful and breakfast in the hotel was superfine. We were close to Prague Castle and a short walk to Charles bridge, but far enough away from Old Town bustle. Hotel staff were professional, warm, and helpful.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen. Fast alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Leider ist der Parkservice des Hotels mit 40.00 Euro pro Nacht ziemlich teuer. Wir haben daher einen P+R Platz im Kongress Zentrum genutzt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut.

Loved our stay at Waldstein Hotel in the family room. We all thought the breakfast was an excellent spread and set us for the day. Such easy walk to all the main attractions but still nice and quiet. Our daughter loved having her own space in the room. Thoroughly recommend.

We had a very early morning flight out of Prague before breakfast started. The hotel was very nice and offering us a bag of sandwiches, fruit and water which was very nice. Very nice room and location.
