Stayed 1 night

Good morning I stayed for one night at your hotel on Saturday 8th August. The staff on the desk were helpful and welcoming. However we had to move rooms twice. Our first room (210) had a big black patch in the bath near the plug hole. It was very off putting and looked nasty. We were moved to 214, this was right next to a room with an unsettled toddler whom we could easily hear through the walls. On leaving the room to negotiate a different room we encountered another more significant problem with 214 - the door didn’t lock from the outside, meaning leaving the room was not possible. The final room we moved into on the 3rd floor was initially ok although work in lots of areas however it transpired the toilet was leaking so the floor was wet! We realised this in the middle of the night. Also when we came to have a shower the temperature handle fell off! This was unsafe and not acceptable. The fan was also very unstable and fell over onto the bed during the night

Stayed 2 nights

Someone had been smoking on my floor which I could smell as I walked to the room. The room its self stank of smoke, uncomfortably so. They couldn’t move me because the hotel was full so there answer was to leave me with air freshener. On that first night due to the lovely clientele, there was a fight that broke out outside my room at half past midnight. The second night was less eventful but the room still stank of smoke.

The room was quite dirty - mouldy shower curtain and grime around the bath plug etc. no air con and very hot - fan provided but didn’t so much. Funny smell. Staff were nice but I wouldn’t stay here again
