Prettig verblijf gehad in executive kamer. Voordeel is dat het een ruimere kamer is inclusief toegang to de lounge waar gratis drank en hapjes beschikbaar zijn. Hotel is prima gelegen tegenover centraal station met goede ov verbindingen. Openbare parkeergarage naast het hotel. ‘s nachts is uurtarief 1,00. Ontbijt was prima met mogelijkheid om ook gerechten aan tafel te laten serveren; meeste zonder meerkosten.

Nice central location next to the train station. Lovely rooms, very modern and clean. Great gym for a Marriott hotel. Breakfast was very good as well and not crazy expensive like some hotels. Service was excellent TV wasn’t work and was repaired in no time.

Spent one night at this hotel which was everything that I wanted. Very convenient for an early morning start from Centraal Station which is minutes away from the front entrance, the hotel was clean and comfortable and my room was large and well stocked with toiletries and the facilities to make hot drinks. Staff were polite, helpful and friendly. I would stay again if in Rotterdam.

Wij hadden een superior kamer op de eerste verdieping (kamer 104). Op zich een prima kamer maar wel wat gehorig (voornamelijk de tram en de deuren op de gang). Ook vond ik het jammer dat je moest douchen in de badkuip. Oncomfortabel en minder hygiënisch dan een apart bad, dus helaas niet in bad geweest waar ik me wel op verheugd had. Douchekop zat vast aan de muur, wat ik ook niet handig vind. Dit kamertype heeft ook badkamers met een apart bad en douche (zoals op de foto's) dus toen ik de badkamer zag gevraagd of ze ook zo'n kamer voor ons hadden, was helaas vol. Verder was de kamer wel sfeervol en schoon en het bed lag heerlijk. Maar vooral de ligging was waar we voor kwamen. Personeel ook heel vriendelijk. Daarom voor herhaling vatbaar maar dan op een hogere verdieping en met apart ligbad. Tip: parkeren via interparking 20 euro (ipv 30 euro).

The executive twin room is spacious, but the air conditioner is weak, executive lounge is much cooler than in room. And it is too dark in room even though all lights are turned on. Besides, the bath towels look old, white color faded out, don't expect that in Marriott. Lounge is good with spectacular full view of the city. In happy hour time, suggest to have hot soup, now only have cold bread and no way to heat up.

Room clean, safe, nice view. Poor lights. Is not a 4 star hotel. No pool. Fridge is empty,only a bottled water. No bathroom supplies (shower cup, toothbrush) Room for 2 but only one chair (?). Wifi page is confusing, you are asked to pay 9e for a decent connection. TV very poor, only a few channels. Guests want to use our TVapps, but the TV is old, you cannot connect you devices, neither your apps. Too expensive.

I’ve stayed at Marriott Rotterdam three times now and have always had wonderful experiences, which is why I chose the hotel again while celebrating a special occasion. Unfortunately, my first time trying in-room dining for breakfast didn’t match the high standard I’m used to. I ordered breakfast on Saturday, November 15th, expecting a cozy and relaxed morning. After almost an hour of waiting with no update, I called the front desk and was told the order had been delivered to the wrong room. Because of this, the food arrived cold, and since the kitchen had already closed, reheating wasn’t possible. Some items also weren’t what I expected. I ordered waffles thinking they’d be freshly made, but they turned out to be pre-made sugar waffles — something I could buy at a supermarket for a much lower price. Clearer descriptions on an in-room dining menu would have helped avoid this confusion. Although I appreciated that the breakfast charge was removed, the experience continued to feel rushed. Less than an hour after finally receiving my (cold) breakfast, a staff member knocked on my door asking if I was finished because they needed the tray back due to having only a limited number available. After such a delay, this made the whole experience feel even more uncomfortable. I want to emphasize that I truly love this hotel and the staff has always been kind and professional. This feedback comes from a place of honesty and respect.

Enige wat echt top is, is de locatie. Centraal gelegen bij winkels en horeca. Personeel is vriendelijk en begroeten je in de ochtend/avond, maar wat service level betreft verwacht ik toch meer van een 5-sterren hotel. Dat viel tegen. Tegen half 4 smiddags was de kamer niet gedaan. Werd wel meteen wat aan gedaan, toen ik het aangaf. In de bar werd eten en drinken naar verkeerde tafel gebracht, duurde lang voordat we bediend waren. Verder vond ik de kamer vrij basic en saai. Wel ruim, en ook de badkamer is ruim. Gewoon een standaard hotel kamer. De kamer is volgepropt met wat meubels. Een douche waarbij je in het bad staat voelt ook niet echt van deze tijd. Niet echt 5 sterren luxe. Al met al vond ik het prima, maar geen een 5 sterren ervaring.

Rude front desk staff felt like I was bothering them. This happened during check-in and when I had a couple of questions regarding the hotel during my stay and each time I asked a question I received a rude, short response. Poorly trained in my opinion. All other service staff were excellent. This is a very nice hotel, excellent location, with clean and comfortable rooms.

The toilet paper and tissue was the roughest in any hotel we’ve stayed at in the world! So rough, we were afraid of hurting ourselves while wiping. Newspaper would be easier on your bum. Also, no breakfast other than their $50 buffet. We don’t like that much food, a coffee and pastries cart would have been nice.
