This is a great hotel close to the airport. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. They have a beautiful swimming pool, which I hope to use next time. They offer you a breakfast to go if you have an early flight, which was a great accommodation!

Its a rather small, quaint, quiet place with all the amenities. The staff was friendly, excellent breakfast it even has a little gym. Will definitely come back and recommend for a comfortable stay. The transport from and to the airport was very prompt and convenient.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the airport as on arrival we got in late and on departure we left early. The shuttle to the airport is free, and they had a very decent takeaway breakfast ready for us when we departed for the airport at 6:00am. The “pack and play” was all set up for our infant granddaughter. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is quite good. We enjoyed delicious tuna tartare and fish and shrimp ceviche. The burger was good too.

This was by far one of the best experiences we have had when traveling!! Such a charming and welcoming hotel. The staff was perfrct!! Manfred, Paula, and Adriana made our vacation amazing !! The hot tub was so fantastic !! We cannot wait to go back THANK YOU ADVENTURE INN!!

Cute and quaint hotel with a lovely staff who accommodated my needs without hesitation. Very clean and the pool area is nice. The breakfast was nice. Wish they had a vegan option on the breakfast menu which included avocado since meat or Ed’s were not an option (otherwise it’s just carbs - gallo pinto and plantain). Fruit were great. Wish they also offered plant cased milk for coffee. I ended up buying soy milk but no fridge (without a fee). I had to navigate to get a gluten free and vegan plate. The rooms are clean and lovely but the smell of chlorine was very strong and bother me. I kept the windows open and fan on to try and dissipate it. Would have liked tea in the rooms as an option (I did ask). They accommodated my departure time which was awesome. The gym should have a cooler and larger space. It is very very hot as the sun shines in without curtains. And the equipment is jammed packed inside what is also a storage room (there were cots stored there). I ended up going to use the gym elsewhere but that was an important feature for me when booking. The lovely reading room I didn’t use but felt it was quaint. Mostly quiet which was awesome except for adjacent rooms that kept their door open to visit with each other. I ended up asking them to close their doors and told the front office. I’d stay there again as I enjoyed walking to a few eating places and felt it was safe and convenient. And again the staff was very friendly. And the fruit was luscious.

A missed flight caused us to need to stay the night in San Jose. This hotel was fantastic. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the complimentary breakfast was amazing - the best we've ever gotten at a hotel. Next time we will book it on purpose.

We were very impressed with the staff - they were very helpful any time we had any questions. The restaurant had delicious meals as well. The mattress in the room was in need of replacing and the air conditioner was very loud (although we didn’t need to turn it on a lot) we would definitely stay here again

Really nice hotel, kids friendly, we had a big room with three queen beds enough for my family. The restaurant inside is great and the pool was great. My kids had a lot of fun there. It is close to the airport.

I love this place so much that I had to write them a review. And this is the first review I have ever written. The experience was great. The staff was very friendly and polite and were fluent in English so there was not a language barrier. The food in the restaurant was delicious. I recommend staying here. I will visit again

When Expedia messed up my reservation (confirmed to me they had booked the two rooms I wanted but actually booked only one! Won’t use Expedia again!), the lovely staff at Adventure Inn came through and rescued the situation. They upgraded us to a larger room and put us on their wait list for a second room - and when we got there (tired after a long plane ride and with a very tired 8-month old), there was a second room for us. At their suggestion, we had preordered some dinner (as their restaurant closes at 9:30), and we enjoyed it in one of their pleasant communal seating areas. Being so close to the airport, this was the perfect place for us to spend our first night in Costa Rica, before setting out the next day on the long drive to Manuel Antonia.

Best place in San Jose to stay. The employees are excellent, kind, helpful, food is by far one the best restaurants around and the atmosphere is warm, friendly, family with a huge dose of Costa Rica. We’ve been staying here for years and have NEVER had anything but first class service! Love you Manfred.

The staff was very welcoming and provided top quality service. I needed assistance on a particular day regarding flight info due to the hurricane Idialia coming to one of the states my connecting flight would be. The woman at the front desk went above and beyond to assist me. All in all the experience was good/welcoming. This was a last minute trip and a quick getaway and it was the relaxation I needed!

Very comfortable hotel. Friendly staff. My only problem was that I requested a wake up call and never received it. Not a problem because my alarm worked fine. But I like to order the wake up calls as a back up and was thus disappointed it never came through.
