We had a good stay at Dominican Fiesta Hotel. The hotel offers a variety of amenities, including a well-equipped gym, pool, steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi, all of which made our stay very enjoyable. A big thank you to Ana and Jamylson at the front desk — they were friendly, professional, and very helpful. Overall, the staff was welcoming and attentive, which really added to the experience. On the other hand, the dinner buffet is very good, with a different theme each night, which kept things interesting and tasty. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. From Carlos, Steven to name a few at front desk. Emilio the personal trainer. The life guard that gave my young son a football and put on a mini clinic showing how to handle the ball. The spa ladies. All of the cleaning staff and all in the restaurant. I have been there approximately 6 plus times already. Always my first choice by far. A favorite of locals because of the great gym, pool and family atmosphere.

Outdated property. Staff was nice. Food at buffet is expensive! I recommend adding the breakfast option to your stay. Room service pricing was reasonable. The pool was nice. The parking lot gets overcrowded in the evening because residents from the area have access to the hotel gym and pool. It was ok but I will stay at another location when I visit the country again.

I booked a room with a king bed, but when I checked in, I was told none were available. The staff did change my room the next afternoon. Carlos was very helpful in giving information about beaches and car service. The hotel's elevators were constantly out of service. By the end of my stay, all three elevators were operating. The pool is nice. There is major construction going on at the hotel, so there is a crane at the property and you can hear jackhammering during the day.

The room was poorly, the bathroom wasn't cleaned (The sliding glass was unattached and all the water spilled out of the floor) Towels smelled bad. I was excited and with expectation because this was a popular place back then, but now is antique, old, and you can notice all the imperfections in it. This hotel feels dead. The staff was nice. the price was high and didn't include breakfast.

My room walls and carpet were dirty, it looked like the previous guest wiped their hand and faces with it. Lamps were all broken, hallway smelled, the bathroom was dirty when we arrived, the air-conditioner stopped working in the middle of my first night there and it took them almost all day to fix it, room services take at least two hours for food or towels. I asked for face towels and they were gone and never replaced after the first set. No pool towels for two days and had to bring my shower towel, then wait forever to get clean ones to shower. Food was sub-par, no local fruit juices like passion fruit or tamarind, we travel to the island to get the island we left when we immigrated. Overall, a very disappointing stay and embarrassing as well, I stayed there so much that I recommended it to friends and family that came on this trip and will be going in December and it was a shame.

The check-in process was delayed by 2 hours. Unfortunately, the room smelled musty and like cigarette smoke even though I requested a non-smoking room. To my further surprise, there was no hot water. The staff was friendly, but the service was poor, and the hotel rooms are not clean.

The buffet style breakfast was excellent. Composed of freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruits, a wide variety of assorted cheeses hams. Mangu and omelets à la carte. Prosciutto could have been sliced thinner for more enjoyment. The breakfast staff were very friendly and did their due diligence regularly retiring used dinnerware. Was very disappointed to see so many chipped plates, coffee cups, and drink-ware. In one instance my glass had a chip(unnoticed at the time of use) that it would have been very unfortunate for me if I had drank from that side. The rooms were large but outdated. The carpet and furniture had stains and the carpet had a distinct odor. The bathroom shower was disappointing. The tub needed replacing and the shower head pressure was minimal and needs replacing. The lobby bar/lounge comes to life with live entertainment on certain nights. The young lady in charge of pool day passes behaved in a manner unbecoming as I was treated in a dismissive manner. This in no way includes the rest of the staff as they greeted me every morning and were more than happy to assist me with any questions or needs. If this hotel was to make some minor adjustments it would be an excellent place to stay.

Is a fantastic hotel, breakfast is amazing and pool area. Make sure you book the rooms in the new area. I stayed in an amazing room in the 7th floor, after I complained a room in the old part of the hotel in the 4th floor, that wasn't ready and had an inter double door with the next door room, that was very inconvenient because you do no have privacy.

Ive been to the hotel 3 times never a problem till now at check out they tried to charge me for 6 items used from the mini bar for almost 8 dollars each which where never even in the mini bar good thing i took a video as i entered the room if not i would be out of 50 plus dollars also they charged me 350 pesos for a chicken soup i refused because it had no chicken only broth hope they get it together because the service is good and nice property but seems like they trying to penny pinch right now

This was one of the best places I stayed in the Dominican Republic, I did not think it would be so nice, the staff are so polite and everyone is willing to help with whatever you need, from check in to check out, you can get food and alcohol no matter the time, the food is A++, and all you have to do is eat from the buffet, my only regret was not going to this place first, as I continue visiting DR and visiting different hotels, this one is one of the must always return to one. I will for sure be visiting this hotel every time I go to DR. The rooms are super nice, you can spend all day inside the hotel and you will have a great time, its great for couples, families, a group of friends or even a work retreat with what I witness, they can count on me staying there every single time I come back to DR. Oooh, and its in the middle of the capital, but once you get inside the hotel or feels like you are somewhere completely different. Dominican Fiesta is a top hotel, it wont the top spot on our list right now!!

The check in process was a lil rough because they didnt have enough staff. Also they had a youth team of baseball players where the adults didnt have control of the kids and where running all over the floors. No peace at all. The rooms needs to be updated as they only have one floor renovated. Carlos at the front desk was great, cant complain he gave me a upgrade for the inconvience I had at the hotel. But surely needs upgrade

Arrived at the hotel around 7pm for check in. My room was not available even though i had done a pre check in 2 days prior and rhe room was fully paid. Check in for the hotel was supposed to be at 3pm. After a half an hour wait, they tried to give me a room on a different level and not what i paid for. I told the front desk that was unacceptable. I didnt get into my room until close to 830pm. The room that i was given was dusty, moldy, and had visible wall chips that spanned accross the room in a large capacity. Much like it hadnt received maintenance in a while. Since i was tired i just didnt say anything. But it was not a good stay.

When we did the check-in the young lady at the front desk told me if I wanted to use the mini bar in the room, and I told that we weren't going to use it. Then she told me that if I grab anything from the mini bar it would have a cost. Then she told me that whatever was on top like cookies and other stuff to eat that it was hotel courtesy and that I wouldn't have to pay for it, I couldn't believe it so I proceeded to ask her if the snacks on top of the mini bar was courtesy of the hotel and she replied yes. Well we did the check-out we were told that we owed, because we ate from the snacks. I felt deceived because at first I was told no and then I was told that the coffee, tea, and a bottle of water was courtesy.

Good value for what you get. If you’re used to staying in high end hotels this is not for you. Rooms are dated and in need of maintenance. Due to hallways and rooms having carpets there’s always a musty smell. Also, depending on the time of day, parking lot gets packed. Overall if you need a place to sleep for a couple nights and want to be in the center of it all, in a safe area, and don’t mind an older hotel, Dominican Fiesta will be sure to fit your needs.

This hotel is one of the best in the entire capital city of Santo Domingo, we did some research as we are bringing a large missions group here next week to stay in this place. Excellent breakfast (reminds me of some of the nicer hotels in Europe that we’ve stayed in over the past decade. The staff is very accommodating and the facilities are well appointed for a variety of individual and group needs. They are midway through a MASSIVE renovation project. We have seen both the newly remodeled rooms and stayed in the old ones. Both are clean and comfortable. The newly remodeled are just more up to date in their style, colors, and textures. Each room has appointments that one would find in most mid to upper level hotels (iron/board/coffee maker/fridge/safe/etc). Looking forward to spending a week here soon!

I really enjoyed some parts of my stay, especially the restaurant service — the staff were super friendly, helpful, and made meals a nice experience. The food was good too. Guest services were mostly kind and tried to help whenever I reached out. That said, the room experience wasn’t great. Cleaning was inconsistent — one day it didn’t happen at all, and I had to go twice to guest services just to get it done. Towels were often late or not changed, and the room key was a daily problem, constantly stopping working even though I kept it away from my phone. The bathroom had mold and looked worn out, the AC barely cooled at night, and the minibar was empty from day one and never refilled. The hotel really needs better supervision and quicker responses when guests report issues. The people in the restaurant show what great service looks like — it’d be amazing to see that same level of care across the rest of the hotel.

Arrived really late, room had no hot water, that couldn’t be fixed. So after a days travel had to go to sleep without a shower. Was never offered to move rooms. I inquired the following morning and was given a different room. New room had bad curtains that were uneven and didn’t close properly and a phone that was not working so I couldn’t connect to the front desk or room service. Great breakfast buffet and helpful front desk agents. Lobby bar attendants not attentive, had to initiate contact.
