Spa was amazing hot tub was lovely

I loved everything about the hotel , except the parking lot area. There needs to be an advisory stating that birds will poop all over your car if you park on the right side/lot. I woke up to find my car filthy. other than that everything was perfect.

The property was beautiful and classy, the staff was friendly and attentive. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed facilities like the gym, pool, casino and a live pianist and violinist performance by the bar.

The hotel facility where great, check before booking if there is an event host..... No parking spaces for the guest where save, we had to park our car in a wherehouse at the end of the main cargo área, we were guess...... so many tráfic in the públic área that we could not even find a space to seat and have a drinks, we order room service which was 5 start service, we want it to have dinner in one of the Restaurants but couldn't bevasue there where so much people attending the event that the noise was unberiable. The day after was another hotel. The event was over and we could enjoy the peace and the áreas at it should be. I believe the hotel adm should and can plammed better for Spaces taht guest that are the one to stay have more accomodation. Overall 3 start stay

The property is a lovely property gives you that old school old Hollywood type of charm. The only thing that the elevators are very old and a little scary.

Everything was great the hot tub was also amaizing.

Very central and well maintained. The pool, gym and spa are very good.

They didn’t have “clean rooms” I had to wait for a complete hour in the front desk waiting, also my car was outside and it was completely covered in bird popo all around and none didn’t anything.

The room was not that clean !

La tina estaba sucia, pedimos servicio a la habitación y nos dijeron que iba a llegar y nunca llegó. Pero en general es muy lindo y la habitación permite descansar.

Everything about the property, service, cleanliness was outstanding. The employees were very professional and their response to any issue was resolved immediately. The grounds of the property are so well kept and beautiful. The hotel it self was a paradise. I cannot say enough about my experience other than it was perfect.

The hotel was very comfortable and the room was spacious. My only complaint is the shower. The water did not drain so taking long showers was definitely out of the question.

I was given a room with a broken lock. I had to sleep with the door unlocked. Not cool!

Bed was great. Food was good. There was an incredibly loud noise of birds or bats outside every night around sundown and continuing through to the morning. The staff's English competence was generally very good.

There was a leak in our room coming from the air conditioner. This happened twice and both times resulted in a pool of water on the counter and floor. Also, the AC thermostat was not working properly because everytime the temperature was set at 18°C it was go back to 23°C which is very warm.

Definitely a fine hotel. On this stay I did not like 2 things. I requested sea view and got a view of the back parking lot Also the Ambasador check in took one hour or so. I arrived at the hotel at 1 but was not allowed to check in. Then when I was finally allowed to check in it took forever. finally got to my room at around 5 pm. Our check in and check out staff were extraordinary. Arriving late at a hotel and experiencing a excellent service is priceless. Wilmer i beieve is the check in person working the late shift is exceptional.

I stayed overnight and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and the employees were polite and attentive. The room I was first checked into had an issue with the toilet, but maintenance arrived within minutes, and guest services quickly arranged a room change without hesitation. Everything was handled efficiently and with care. I highly recommended this hotel for it's excellent service and hospitality.

My complaint is the check in process: I arrived on Dec 31 at 5pm to the hotel and I stayed in line for the check in 1 hour !, when I finally get the front desk I’ve just got 1 of the 2 rooms that a booked and I had to wait until 7:30pm for my second room to be ready and I was with a kid ! It is supposed that the check in process starts at 3pm

Every time I travel to Santo Domingo I stay in this place. It’s close to everything and hotel is great.

This is an iconic hotel in Santo Domingo. Nice green surrounding. View to the Caribbean Sea. The room was excellent with a great, comfortable bed and pillows menu. Staff very friendly. Nice coffee at the lobby. It’s always a pleasure to stay at El Embajador.

The staff was very helpful and professional. There were solid dining options within walking distance of the hotel and there was even a grocery store nearby. El embajador didn’t disappoint

Loved my stay, my one complaint is the breakfast buffet I paid about $1,000 more, for my son, mother and I. The breakfast buffet ends at 11am. This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel, having paid for breakfast in advance and the first time I was dissatisfied with the breakfast. If the breakfast ends at 11am, why is food running out by 930am?? Nothing would get replenished and if you got there at 10am, there would be no way you’d get a table. If you don’t have enough food or tables for the people who reserved in advance when reserving the rooms, then there should be some sort of limit as to how much breakfast reservations can be accepted in advance. One day i arrived at 1015 and there was nothing but fruit and cheese left. One guy came out from the kitchen with a basket of bread to put out for everyone and I am not sure why he chose to turn around and return it to the kitchen.People were literally going after him asking for bread. Then I figured I’d be able to get some bread in the VIP lounge on my floor. I go there only to find they too didn’t have anything left. This is completely unacceptable especially at a 5 star hotel.There were times you couldn’t even get clean plates or even cups to serve yourself coffee, you’d see he dirty cups grouped on a table that could’ve been given to someone waiting to be seated.You cannot accept an exaggerated amount of reservations to then not have enough food, plates and utensils to accommodate the people who paid on advance

Rooms and location are great. Concierge service is very good. Food at the bar is really bad. Food and service at the Restaurant is ok.

The hotel looks that was recently renovated. Everything looks gorgeous and clean l. The breakfast buffet was excellent, the food and fruits all fresh and good. I recommend this hotel 💯/💯
