I didnt know how truly cool a hotel i had booked until i got there. The parking was stupidly easy, the staff greeted me with a smile, the food at dinner was amazing. Along with breakfast the next day. The whole place is perfect for cute photos and the garden was ideal. i love how close it was to the city, but not part of it. I will be coming back to stay there. It was so well planned out with the staff so helpful and on time for everything. Love, love loved it

Just stayed one night with breakfast and evening meal all the food was lovely. Though breakfast you had to choose between cooked or continental Staff were very happy and helpful and the hotel was extremely well presented with beautiful garden area. We stayed in the lodge room as we preferred a king size bed, the room was a good size and very clean even though they allowed dogs

Had a fantastic stay in the hotel, had an upgrade with the balcony, sun was shining, really good of them. The room was well equipped with a big bathroom, really clean. Room was a good size with a really big TV. The plus for me was the room was very quiet, heard nothing for the 3 nights I stayed. Food is fantastic in a nice setting the dining room was really well laid out and had outside eating area under a canopy, really good food.

We stayed for a week and the breakfast and evening meal menus were fixed during that time, so we would have liked more variety of food available. The room was in a lodge at the rear of the house. It's was modern, stylishly decorated and well appointed. Good size bathroom had a problem with the drainage. The Monroe restaurant had a fixed two or three course menu (mushroom then salmon for me)and although the dishes were expertly presented as much as I wanted to like them I just didn't, I found them too bland for my taste. I hoped that breakfast would be better but the solid poached eggs & budget sausage just cemented my opinion. I would stay again but eat out.

The hotel and room were clean. However, the bed was not that comfortable as it had a slight slope on each side which tended to roll you out. Breakfast was OK but the food was obviously cooked in advance and then heated up to be served. This didn’t make the food as enjoyable as it would have been had it been freshly cooked.

It was fabulous only thing the pillows were very thick so not comfortable and the bathroom floor was soaking after cleaning but ask them to dry it

Our stay was amazing from stepping out of the car. Staff were so helpful and so friendly. Our room was so clean and warm almost didnt want to leave for our daily trips. We cannot wait to go back!!

A comfortable hotel with an excellent restaurant. Although my room had little view, it did have a very well furnished enclosed terrace. An enjoyable stay with the possible exceptiin that I would have liked some fruit for breakfast without having to pay a supplement.

What a fantastic hotel, very friendly staff. I received a call from the hotel on the morning of my arrival checking I was still arriving, did I require any assistance and book a table in the restaurant. Fantastic and attentive from start to leaving 10/10

We stayed here the night before attending a wedding and what a great little find it was, we would definitely stay again. The room was really lovely and service at the hotel was great. The evening meal in the restaurant was stunning, attention to detail was second to none!

This hotel is a hidden Gem of the Gower, I got married here 2 years ago, Linda and the team were awesome then, went back for our 2 year anniversary and once again nothing was too much trouble for them, hotel has a real family feel to it and they make you feel so welcome. Great value for money, would recommend to anyone.

I didnt know how truly cool a hotel i had booked until i got there. The parking was stupidly easy, the staff greeted me with a smile, the food at dinner was amazing. Along with breakfast the next day. The whole place is perfect for cute photos and the garden was ideal. i love how close it was to the city, but not part of it. I will be coming back to stay there. It was so well planned out with the staff so helpful and on time for everything. Love, love loved it

Great location and very enjoyable. Could do with a little update to really get the most out of the property and location with a little investment and some support in interior design this place could be really world class. Would encourage anyone taking a trip to the Gower to check it out.

Fabulous place to stay. The owner (whose name I've forgotten, sorry) was absolutely lovely as were all the staff that we spoke to. Ideal location for visiting many parts of the Gower Peninsula and surrounding areas. Lovely breakfast served in a relaxing peaceful restaurant area. We didn't have an evening meal so cannot comment. We had a super king size bed in our room which was extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here.

A nice hotel, well situated to the Gower with all the amenities you would need. The attached restaurant and bar meant we didn't have to travel which was a bonus. All in all, a very clean, tidy and hospitable hotel, and thoroughly recommended

Well appointed room. Good facilities but no phone signal and at the bottom of a steep hill wbich had to be negotiated to go out.

Our bedroom was dark and gloomy. The view from our window was of several solid fences painted brown and a shed. The bathroom was light and spacious. We stayed for a week and the breakfast and evening meal menus were fixed during that time, so we would have liked more variety of food available. The hotel was clean and our room was serviced each day. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in a quiet location and convenient for visiting local places of interest.

A comfortable hotel with an excellent restaurant. Although my room had little view, it did have a very well furnished enclosed terrace. An enjoyable stay with the possible exceptiin that I would have liked some fruit for breakfast without having to pay a supplement.

Just stayed one night with breakfast and evening meal all the food was lovely. Though breakfast you had to choose between cooked or continental Staff were very happy and helpful and the hotel was extremely well presented with beautiful garden area. We stayed in the lodge room as we preferred a king size bed, the room was a good size and very clean even though they allowed dogs

The room was in a lodge at the rear of the house. It's was modern, stylishly decorated and well appointed. Good size bathroom had a problem with the drainage. The Monroe restaurant had a fixed two or three course menu (mushroom then salmon for me)and although the dishes were expertly presented as much as I wanted to like them I just didn't, I found them too bland for my taste. I hoped that breakfast would be better but the solid poached eggs & budget sausage just cemented my opinion. I would stay again but eat out.

The hotel and room were clean. However, the bed was not that comfortable as it had a slight slope on each side which tended to roll you out. Breakfast was OK but the food was obviously cooked in advance and then heated up to be served. This didn’t make the food as enjoyable as it would have been had it been freshly cooked.

We stayed here the night before attending a wedding and what a great little find it was, we would definitely stay again. The room was really lovely and service at the hotel was great. The evening meal in the restaurant was stunning, attention to detail was second to none!

Stunning hotel, staff were incredibly helpful and happy to be there. Great conversations with locals who recommended some great walks. Food and drink was 5 Star, just wish the bed was a little bigger!

Another lovely stay at The Gower Hotel. The location is great for exploring the Gower, so quiet and peaceful. The evening meal was excellent and beautifully presented. Good wine choice at sensible rates, well done. The only thing that I felt was a let down was the orange squash instead of fresh juice at breakfast and morning coffee that lacked flavour for us. Change those and I would give the stay 5 stars.
