This hotel has a great location - breakfast was very good, decent gym and the showers are excellent… We struggled to understand the 9.2 rating that other travellers had given. Staff weren’t overly helpful, the rooms were tired and a bit comedy in places eg you had to put a kettle on the floor to be near a plug. We paid for room upgrades which were an absolute waste of money- I questioned whether they were in fact upgrades as it definitely wasn’t better than the room friends had where they hadn’t upgraded (in fact theirs were better). In addition the upgrade was marketed as a set amount per stay but then charged per night. The parking cost is also more expensive paying the hotel directly than the station APCOA option. I haven’t stayed in other hotels in Windsor but if I go back I’ll try somewhere else next time.

What a wonderful experience. Our second stay here (this time for our 26th wedding anniversary.) The staff couldn't do enough to help, absolutely brilliant. The room was amazing, this time we went for an executive king. We had beautiful views and the bed was so comfy. It was a little on the warm side but the fan provided did help. The breakfast was delicious and the dining space was impeccable. Our only v small feedback would be the bathroom could do with a refresh....but we would absolutely stay again and would recommend to anyone. Thank you so much.
