Very nice stay at an ideally located hotel. Staff were very friendly and the room was of a high standard. The hotel is located very close to the Arno river and within walking distance of all the major sights. Only slight criticism was that the gym was not available for most of our stay, which was something I was looking forward to using.

Returning to Florence for a week came back to this welcoming Hotel, staff were still as friendly and helpful and made everything super easy. Restaurant was also very good - usually hotel restaurants are so so - but The Opera restaurant which is part of this hotel was excellent with delicious fresh food and good reasonably priced wines. Breakfast each morning was also very good with large choice of continental or English style foods. The only complaint would have to be the noise from the Refuse Collectors - every morning at 5.30am! Realise the Hotel has no say over this and probably every other city hotel will have the same problem - but after a few days it does become tiring 😵 Another plus point though is its position - about 15 minutes to main squares and 5 minutes to railway station.

The hotel itself was really nice with good breakfasts & dining options, parking onsite was a plus too for some members of our family. The beds could have been more comfortable with choices for feather pillows offered. But overall we were very happy.

Thr Grand Hotel Adriatico was a perfect venue for our stay in Florence. Parking at the hotel (24€ day) was quite convenient. All the staff was welcoming, kind and accomodating. Our rooms were immaculate, comfy and quiet. Hotel hallways and public areas were well maintained. Breakfast had many fine choices. Location was good. A bit of a walk to major sights. Odd thing was the high percentage of Americans staying at the hotel. Not a negative, just interesting. Good outcome from the US visitors was that when we needed benadryl ( not available in Italy) for a medical emergency , some was given to us in 5 minutes by very helpful folk. We heartily recommend Hotel Grand Adriatica for your stay in Florence.

This is not a four star property. It looks very dated and tired. Checkout staff was nice, checkin staff were a bit dismissive and unfriendly. Bar staff and breakfast staff were indeed friendly and lovely but the breakfast was almost inedible. Breakfast food had no taste. Room was decent size but the cleaners didn't bother to tidy it up, forgetting to even top up the toilet paper. I had to ring reception for it. It is not good value for money. Only positive thing about it is the location (although lots of dodgy people around after hours). It's close to the train station and within walking distance to the main attractions. I would avoid.

Hotel is about 8-10 mins walk from the station and close to historic center as well. Just the walk from the station k the hotel looks a bit shady. The walk from the hotel to historic centers is good. The hotel itself is good and the staff is great. We had trouble with AC in our room and the temperature was not able to go down. We had a family room. Staff showed us another family room but it had the same problem. I think it was the location of these family rooms which was not getting enough air. The manager understood the problem and gave us a fan for our room and another room along with the one we had.

Daily there were rougher people around the front of the hotel. Our glass shower was un secured and unsafe . This allowed alot of water to flow across the floor during every shower.

It was very easy to check in. Everyone was very helpful. They gave our kids coloring books and other books. They also packed us a breakfast bag for our very early flight the next day. The worst part was our bathroom. The toilet didn't flush at all. We had the come and fix it. Someone came pushed some buttons and never returned. The shower head kept falling down. The room was nice but the bathroom was in shambles.

The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are great. They packed a picnic breakfast for our day trips, and helped us sort a problem when our private transfer to Rome was cancelled at the last minute. I would use the hotel again.

The hotel is withing walking distance to City center and train station. The area looks older but it is very safe closed to restaurants, the river and the train station. Hotel has an excellent breakfast which as I was told "always included in your room rate". Staff was great! very helpful and pleasant.
