Eccellente struttura in ottima posizione vicinissima alla stazione e in pieno centro di Firenze. Personale cortese e professionale. Tuttavia nella presentazione dell'Hotel c'è scritto che a 500 metri c'è un parcheggio gratuito, mentre alla reception hanno negato questa possibilità e quindi ho dovuto consegnare l'auto per 30 euro al giorno (se più grande sarebbero stati 35 euro), esattamente la cifra dei parcheggi nelle vicinanze. Quindi se venire in auto dovere aggiungere al costo almeno altri 30 euro.

This hotel is a very short walk to train station, which is convenient. Hotel was clean, staff was helpful and room was beautiful. They have a very nice area for breakfast and the morning staff was very efficent. What i didnt like: the bar area was not staffed in the evening and some evenings we waited awhile before someone was available to help us.

Very close to train station, yet on a quiet street. Staff all very pleasant. Only powdered milk for coffee in room. Would not recommend the restaurant, considering the many options in the area. The quiet location was nice considering the crowds of tourists everywhere just a few blocks away.

The hotel was only a short easy walk from the Train Station. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was decent and everything in the room was clean and in working order. Florence is an easy city to walk in, so we found that everything was easy to get to from this hotels central location. They had a nice outdoor seating area, where you could bring your coffee and sit. Breakfast was good, even though it was a small area and busy. Lots of selection for breakfast. Would recommend this hotel.

The staff were pleasant and the hotel entrance, lobby area, and breakfast area were nice, there was a decent breakfast, and the room and bathroom were quite spacious. The shower in our room was a handle in a bathtub that came to maybe waist height and the roof there slanted down so no standing, and the drain did not drain fast enough, so the shower was sitting in the bottom of the bathtub filled with dirty water trying to wash your hair and body with one hand. There were ants and spiders in the room that got into my luggage. The air conditioning was more like a tepid breeze, and when I asked about it I was told it was working just fine. From about 9am-7pm, any time spent in the room was in the least amount of clothes possible not moving. I went to read other reviews and it sounds like the ac on the top floor is a known issue. Maybe other rooms are in better shape but if I had to have the same room again I would never come back.

We stayed in a superior room with a balcony, which was really nice after a long day touring the city. The hotel is wonderfully located in the middle of everything and very walkable. Breakfast was good each morning. The staff is friendly, efficient and provide good service. It was VERY hot when we were there and the AC was not barely able to keep up, but that is my only minor complaint.

Il suffit que les voisins d'à côté ou du dessus déplacent leurs chaises pour qu’il devienne impossible d’envisager de dormir lorsqu’ils sont encore ou déjà debout. The breakfast was very good. We stayed in Room 7. The internet signal in the room was very poor and did not work for two days. This needs to be improved. The upstairs guest made a lot of noise when moving their chairs at night. Otherwise, everything was satisfactory. The reception staff were very patient. Overall, we are very satisfied. This is a wonderfully kept older hotel with all the old-world elegance that such a facility offers but with all the modern conveniences. First rate staff . . .very nice rooms (great beds) with marble bathrooms (with a bathtub!!!!!) and windows that open into a quaint courtyard. And an expansive breakfast was provides as well. Finally, it is in a great location just two blocks from the train station and close to central Florence.

This hotel is an oasis, just a few minutes walk from the Santa Maria Novella train station. Hotel staff were amazingly professional--kind, courteous and reliable with requests and quick with helpful suggestions. The renovated hotel is charming, with an old world vibe, but things like baths are updated and modern. I would stay here again without hesitation!

Staff was not very welcoming. They seemed stressed and kind of standoffish - not like any of the other hotels that we went to. The room was BOILING hot! We turned off the heat and opened the doors to the terrace, however the had turned on the hotels, main heat, and it was continuing to blow hot air In room. We could not see we were so hot. Also, the pillows if you would call them that were flat as a pancake! I had put 4 on top of each other to equal one pillow. The breakfast buffet was overpriced for the selection.

Unfortunately we cannot recommend this hotel. We did not sleep night one as they had a convention that went late into the night and was very loud. THey did move us the next day but should have been proactive knowing there was a party occuring outside our hotel room. The staff were not very friendly and we felt as though we were a thorn in there side. Just not a good experience.

Housekeeper entered our room after being told not to enter in English. Laughed and said “Americans” in Italian in what felt like a xenophobic tone. When we complained at the front desk about the treatment, we were made to feel like an inconvenience and staff raised their voice at us. Hotel blameshifted and said it was our fault that the do not disturb sign was not up, even though it was never provided to us. Housekeeper lied in our face and said the door was open which is why she walked in. Why would we leave our door open when trying to nap at 6 pm? Hotel did not believe us. We informed the staff there was a do not disturb button in the room, however the front staff denied the button existed even though we have video evidence to prove it. Hotel staff don’t even know their own hotel. In terms of the breakfast, it was average. Service staff are clueless; they asked if we wanted coffee while they were seating us at our table upon our arrival, but never brought it. We had to flag them down to remind them. This place needs a revamp in management and staff training. We were made to feel like unwanted guests because we are Americans and didn’t even stay the last night we booked with them because we were absolutely disgusted with the treatment. We’ve stayed at many hotels before being world travelers and have never experienced such hideous treatment. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from this hotel if you want to preserve a positive Florence experience. It soured ours.

When we first checked in the rep seemed unfriendly towards us. We asked to be placed in upper floor, was adamant to tell us that our request was not possible. He just wasn’t too helpful. Then we noticed when a family who spoke their language came , the rep demeanor was completely different from us. He was laughing with them and joking. Very obvious to us the front office person didn’t particularly like us Americans. Once we walked in to our room, we were feeling uncomfortable knowing the room felt to us like a dungeon . NO clear view of something comforting, but the front street and the side covered in bushes. We asked to move a different room, was told nothing was available. We were stocked in the worse room in the building infested in mosquitos. Our son was covered in mosquitos bites 🙉🙉🙉 Breakfast was mediocre. We had so much better experienced in Rome. Hotel staff went above and beyond to welcome us when we arrived. Always gave us tips where to eat and other suggestions they wanted to share. We were regretful to stay in this hotel. We made sure to tell all our friends and families who have plan to visit Firenze not to booked this hotel.

Otherwise the hotel is lovely and convenient to station which we wanted. Not to mention most the attractions were within a mile of walking distance. Front desk very helpful. Room was beautiful.

Beautiful property with an attentive and helpful staff. Excellent location that's ~3 min walk from the train station and also an easy ~20 min walk to many of the city's main attractions. Good breakfast buffet and plenty of restaurants around as well, loved my stay here and would definitely return.

The staff are pleasant and professional. We arrived very late and the desk and bellman waited up for us past midnight. The train station is only 2 blocks away but we had to walk through a sketchy crowd of people and 2 asked for money. It felt unsafe. The room was very warm so we opened the window for cool air but there are no screens so then we had mosquitoe problems. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was great with excellent service. Bottom line: 3 star facility and 5 star staff.

Hotel Albani Firenze is a lovely place to stay just five minutes walk from the train station. It hit all of the right notes for me. My room was gorgeous! To be honest, though, I stayed in one of their best rooms. The hotel’s buffet breakfast offered a wide selection, and hot drinks were served to your table. Staff were most helpful, especially those in reception. Best of all, the hotel is within easy walking distance to all the main sights and restaurants.

This is a great place to stay in a hotel with beautiful traditional style. High ceilings, marble baths, attractive dining room with a great buffet breakfast. Lots of hot water, great beds, and very quiet even though just a couple of blocks from the train station. The staff was exceptional, everyone was very helpful. Giovanni helped everyone with their bags and they are happy to call a taxi. We preferred staying in this hotel that has preserved its history over very modern hotels that mostly look alike. If we visit Florence in the future, we will stay here again.

My meal and service for dinner was terrible. The salad course and main course were served together. No dressing on the salad and fish was full of bones , skin and scales. Breakfast buffet was great.
