There were dozens of mosquitoes in my room and also in the entryway. They told me Flirence has them it's not a big deal. I asked for a refund 10 minutes after check-in. They refused so I left and booked the hotel I stayed in before around the corner with 0 bugs.

The location was very good and the property was well maintained. We did not like we had to turn in our key each time we left the property and had to get it from the front desk when we returned. They didnt ask for id, you just told them your room number and they gave you the key. When I asked how they know its the right people, they laughed at us. For women traveling alone this is not the best situation, it didnt feel secure at all! Next is the water pressure, the shower barely trickled water and it took an hour to fill the bathtub to the level to take a bath. The room was spacious. It was nice to have the automatic blackout shades which helped keep the room cooler. The a/c was just ok, not amazing. The property is charming but I won't stay there again.
