This is an amazing hotel! The people are friendly and treat you like family. The food is excellent and the morning coffee was included. We stayed in the panoramic suite which was wonderful, but there were 99 stairs between the piazza and our room. The tiny elevator only goes halfway up. But the view of the Duomo was breathtaking! The staff communicated before the trip by email and answered several questions. There is a train a block from the hotel that goes straight to the airport. We walked everywhere and saw amazing sights every time.

The hotel was well situated in a busy piazza (ie buses taxis people and couple of museums) within 5 minutes walk of the Duomo. Our room was actually a minute’s walk away in the street off the piazza in “the annexe”. Our room was on the third floor and there were three keys on a very heavy fob. I carried this around all day but could have chosen to go back to the hotel and leave it in reception. The breakfast staff were lovely courteous and friendly. Reception staff were polite professional and helpful. There was a nice bar and small sitting area which we didn’t use perhaps because we weren’t in the main hotel. However our room itself was clean large and comfortable with a nice bathroom and pleasant toiletries (the brand had a shop down the road). It had a large window with wooden shutters so no need to close the curtains. We did have the window open the first night but got bitten by mosquitoes so kept it closed after that - probably the only negative and not the hotel’s fault. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Vi bodde med en balkong med utsikt över torget, det fanns badrockar och tofflor på rummet, bra minibar med rimliga priser, hiss, parkeringsservice och väldigt vänlig personal. Fem minuters promenad till Domen, området kändes väldigt tryggt, tyst och lugnt på rummet.

Hotel is conveniently located yet out of the way enough to be quiet in evenings and at night. Might be a bit of a challenge if you have difficulty with stairs or uneven surfaces. Otherwise, we’d highly recommend.

Beautiful, historic property, right on the Plaza of the Annunciation, attached to the Galleria Academia (“David”) and walking distance to Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, Santa Maria della Novella, Pitti Palace, et al. Staff is wonderful. Breakfast excellent. Only caution: A few rooms require a climb up a steep flight of stairs. If this is a problem for you, let the hotel know in advance not to give you one of those.

The hotel was lovely and very convenient to central Florence. Car access was difficult, however once at the hotel they safely parked our car and picked up luggage when we departed. Excellent service. Lovely breakfast. Very happy with our stay!

It was a lovely quirky hotel, however my room required a flight of quite narrow stairs, perhaps not great for someone of my age, but they were super friendly, we all got a Christmas gift and the breakfast was the best I had in Italy. Great location, easy for walking and tons of restaurants. Besides the room up a flight of stairs, it was a great stay.

Poter soggiornare in una dimora d'epoca è sicuramente suggestivo, tuttavia la stanza singola è risultata davvero piccola e non paerticolarmente confortevole. La colazione è davvero ottima. Il vero aspetto negativo è che in auto in pratica non è raggiungibile perchè richiede uno slalom impossibile tra aree pedonali e ZTL, con il parcheggio vietato ovunque. In pratica,bisogna ricorrere a un autista che la porta in un parcheggio remoto esterno e che la riconsegna al mattino davanti all'hotel (la struttura stessa si prende carico della segnalazione della targa al Comune di Firenze). Ovviamente ciò ha un costo non indifferente. NB La piazza è alla sera è piena di bivacchi e sporcizia sui gradini e sotto i portici. Raggiungere il centro a piedi è comodissimo.

The staff were wonderful and breakfast was adequate to good. I wish there had been more vegan options but I never expect that. Our room in the annex was far from the hotel. Great street, spacious room but not as nice as it looked in the photos. It was a bit dingy, carpet had big stains and the bathroom window opened up over what smelled like a sewer. Bed was rock hard, like the hardest, most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. The room was on the third floor with a tiny 1-2 person elevator or three flights of stairs. Many keys. Overall the stay was good but I expected better.

First night we found blood stains in the bed sheets, called reception he didn't understand basic English. Had to walk down and show a photo, then the janitor was sent to change our sheets. Second day i found the bidet had a leaking pipe. This was fixed after i informed the reception. Overall our room in the annex location was very rundown and needed renovation. Not what i was expecting from a 4 star hotel. Location is very good. Breakfast ok.

Amazing location and the historic architecture. The only problem with the Hotel was the cleanliness of the carpet in the room, found many crumbled hair on the floor! Staff are helpful and friendly. Also, if you are in the front rooms, be aware, the square in front of the hotel building is a spot for young people and students gathering and may be too noisy at nights until -1 am

We loved every aspect of the hotel from the architecture and decor to delicious breakfasts and staff helpfulness. The only major defect Is the bath/shower set-up which is terribly dangerous - tub is too narrow and slippery and placement of shower head makes it difficult to take a shower without spraying the bathroom. My husband din’t w even take showers for theee nights.

A beautiful old building on a busy square, close to everything. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast had many options and friendly waitstaff supplying many cappuccinos. It’s close to the university and the students are a bit noisy late at night, and then church bells ring nearby at 7am so recommend sleeping with earplugs if sensitive to noise. We had a great stay!

Location is fantastic, just a couple blocks from the Duomo. But the property is very old. The rooms are loud from rooms above and hallways. But worst was temperature. Even in January with heaters off, it was unbearably hot and stuffy, which required us to open windows (no air conditioning). That resulted in dozens of mosquito bites (in the middle of winter). I’d definitely not want to stay here in the summer when Florence can be very very hot and humid.

Stunning room! Had a balcony overlooking the courtyard, but the beauty of the room was the amazing domed high ceilings and elegant bed. Very comfortable too, however due to the foot end of the bed frame being enclosed, it made it difficult for my 190+ cm partner to stretch out. Bathroom was very nice and had a bath.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We were charmed by the warren-like hallways, the wide open windows in our room, and the tiny elevator, although we used the stairs most of the time. We didn’t partake of the breakfast buffet but it looked good. We had none of the issues we read about in other reviews; no smell, mild, no nothing. Our room was lovely and had a beautiful view. The staff was lovely to us. The hotel was perfectly situated to walk to all of the sites a tourist would want to visit. Everything was within a 15 minute walk. The single complaint we had was that many students hang out on the steps in front of the hotel and they leave cigarette butts and bits of trash behind. All in all, we would definitely stay again.

Amazing hotel and exceptional staff. Khiara at the front desk went above and beyond as we were celebrating my daughters graduation. The breakfast staff was also very helpful and provided us cappuccinos to go in the mornings. Comfy beds, beautiful room and excellent staff on top of being in great location next to duomo.

La habitación fue espaciosa, la recepcionista siempre fue muy amable, incluso me imprimió itinerarios del tren para ir a Pisa y nos obsequió un mapa de Florencia, el bell boy fue muy déspota, arrebataba las cosas y como no quedó conforme con la propina (€10) se “equivocó” al propósito metiendo gente a nuestra habitación cuando nos estábamos instalando. Por otro lado el bufet fue bueno. Un punto en contra del hotel fue que en la publicación anuncian al edificio principal, sin embargo y a pesar de que en la reservación decía que el hospedaje sería allí, nos dijeron que no había habitaciones disponibles en ese edificio y nos mandaron a otro, muy cerca a unos 30 pasos. Sin embargo el otro edificio es un complejo de departamentos donde un piso pertenece al hotel, lo cual vuelve muy molesto tener que desplazarte al edificio principal para desayunar o dejar y recoger las llaves. En el edificio que nos mandaron siempre habían personas entrando y saliendo, sacando muebles y ocupando el elevador. Lo cual se sentía inseguro. En la habitación hay internet pero no cuenta con smart TV. A favor tiene la ubicación, pues está a una cuadra de la academia, del domo y de algunos restaurantes. El personal no habla español pero si inglés. La calificación sería un 7/10.

The property is in an ideal location, and most of the staff was very nice. Except for one of the front desk people who was quite judgey whenever we asked a question. When we asked for an umbrella, he looked outside like we were nuts. When we asked for help with a dinner reservation, he was kind of snooty at our preferred time and argued with us that the restaurant wouldn’t even be open. It was of course, and absolutely packed, but we got in anyway.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at the Loggiato dei Serviti. It is a BEAUTIFUL hotel. Our room was in the annex, which just meant a different building that was very close to the main hotel building. The room we had was very clean, comfortable, and absolutely lovely. The service was also excellent from the front desk to the person who showed us to our room. The location couldn't be better. I highly recommend this hotel, and hope to stay there again in the future.

Just randomly pick one and dine there, you won’t regret. The hotel room is big and well cleaned, beds are comfortable. I love the breakfast the most. If I get back to Firenze, I’ll definitely choose here to stay again!
