Elevator was out of service the entire time of our stay and had to walk up 4 flights of stairs everytime going and coming. We were told after checking in that it was not working and informed it would be fixed the following morning. Ot was not and I believe they knew it. Also the lighting on the floors is really dark and a safety concern. The location is on a main road and about 10 minute walk to a decent restaurant. There is no restaurant or bar in the hotel. They do serve breakfast and the staff was friendly though. I would not recommend this hotel

Absolutely what you can expect in a tourist trap like Florence, small rooms, not very well ventilated (light weird odor), dark corridors, only thing that saved the property was the good attitude and service of the staff. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel and you should really consider this when booking.

Our experience was musty, dusty, and dark. I had trouble seeing in the dimly lit hallways. The room was so dusty that my daughter had allergic reactions and did not sleep. The bed and pillow were also very very uncomfortable. The first night's stay was so bad that we checked out and booked another hotel. Room Mate Luca would not refund us, but they gave us some delicious cookies on our way out which to be honest did not make up for the $850 loss.

The hotel is clean and breakfast is decent. That’s about it. Rooms are the smallest that I have ever stayed in. We were 3 people in a room made for 1. No room for luggage. The water pressure in the shower was inexistant. The elevator was not working during our stay which was not ideal when we left with 5 luggages to transport down the stairs.

Conveniently located close to the city center, clean, good breakfast, room service every day and reasonably priced. They also had A/C in the rooms and staff on site 24/7. I would stay here again.

The room was very comfortable and quiet, and very true to how it was advertised on the site. The location is great and perfectly tucked away from the busy scene of the historic center, but also in walking distance to all the attractions. Highly recommend!

After walking all day it was awesome to drink cold water in the lobby. Breakfast staff was so efficient and helpful, even packing a breakfast for us when we wen on an early morning excursion. Great location to restaurants and many attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Agusto checked us in and gave us some amazing local recommendations. I have a very sensitive nose, and the hotel smelled absolutely incredible, which made a great first impression. We were so pleased with our room. After hopping around Italy, this stay felt like the perfect mix of convenience and affordable luxury. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting. The only small downside was that the blackout curtains didn’t fully block out the light, but everything else was truly fantastic.

Terrible service and poor attitude from staff. Locked out of our rooms due to key card issues and took extremely long to fix the issue. Fire alarms kept going off daily. Clean spacious rooms but that was the only good point. Not the type of stay expected from this calibre of hotel.

Room Mate Luca is an amazing place! Would highly recommend! Only a 10 minute walk to the center and/or the Duomo. Room was very cozy and clean and well set up. Breakfast was outstanding every morning. Most of all the staff at the front desk were very very helpful, personable and incredible! Fantastic stay- minutes away from the Duomo and train station. What sets them apart is the service that the front desk - Chiara, Eleanora and Alan from the buffet. Chiara really went above and beyond by giving me tips on how to get to my next destination in Cinque Terre.

We had the best time at this hotel. Staff was very nice and knowledgeable. We felt really safe. The bed was really comfortable. The breakfast is fantastic. Walking distance from the hotel to everywhere is between 5 and 20 minutes. The AC was a blessing in the summer heat!
