Loved that it was only 20-25 minutes away from everything we were able to go to Lake Tahoe , Virginia City and Reno all on this trip since we were in the middle of everything great stay just bummed that the spa was closed after night one and we weren’t able to use it. We loved this stay for years, but recently there maybe a change of management. The staff who work there before, who are still here, stay constantly great and friendly, we know each other on first name basis. However, this time, the breakfast doesn't taste as good, and both days were serving same food (it used to be different from day to day, 2-3 kinds a week). The biggest ding is the hot tub is going away! It was our highlight of our snowy days in our winter trips.

There were a few things wrong with the room that the maintenance man fixed pretty quickly. The room was very dark. I expected more from Hilton property. The cleaning was only done once which was OK, but she did not leave us a bathmat or any extra toilet paper. She did not even take out all of the dirty towels. There was not a pen left or a pad of paper. I don’t think I’ve ever been at a hotel where there was not a pen and pad of paper. Since the price was more than other hotels, I also expected the breakfast to be at a higher quality. I did not see that it was any different from any other hotel that we have stayed at.

Had a wonderful overnight stay this President’s Day weekend. Hotel condition is pristine. Clean inside and outside. With truly professional and knowledgeable staff. Very helpful too. We had a problem with the keycard and at one point there was an incident that included a fire alarm being triggered. The staff handled it effectively and efficiently. The breakfast food were great too. Selections were simple but were mostly served warm. Overall, it was an excellent experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The hotel was very clean. Staff was friendly. We had two beds one it was like the springs were going through it every time you moved it was extremely loud The people next to us had a dog that was barking We were on the first floor and upstairs. The people were stomping on the floor all night long and it finally stopped around 3:30 in the morning.

One of the staff members canceled our reservation after the first night and when we came back from the pool, our key did not open the room and the staff could not help us. They had to call the manager to come from home to solve it. He apologized and fixed it but after 30-45 min we are waiting and dripping water from the pool in the lobby. Not a great experience

Upon check-in I received a key that didn't work after lugging all my gear to a second floor room. The key was replaced and I got in. After working an entire day (Friday), I returned to my room and the key did not work. Had to go back downstairs and get a second new key. That experience kept me from going out to dinner and no room service available. Very unreliable technology at the front desk.

Door to room had been damaged with indications that it had been forced open. I took pictures. When I discussed this with the General Manager in the morning he said they had to break in to the room before he was the manager. I thought it should have been fixed before I stayed there. He offered no compensation even though I told him the door damage interfered with my sleep. So much for the 100 per cent guarantee. Worthless.

It was a short stay but we loved how conveniently located it was, how clean and nicely decorated the reception and dining/ reading area was. The rate is a little on the higher side tho. Breakfast was ok - the variety was great but I did wish the options could have been a bit healthier. Maybe in addition to meat patties there could be spinach/ mushrooms for the eggs. The juices were super diluted and coffee was not strong. Aside from that we had a wonderful stay. Thank you.
