First time in Anchorage, overnight stay. Clean room. Great staff. Someone there helped me carry my bags to my room due to a disability. There is not an elevator and I was unaware of that but everything worked out. Shuttle service from and back to the airport was great and on time.

Airport shuttle was convenient. Rooms were larger than expected. Had a two double bed suite and it was actually two separate bedrooms. Staff was very accommodating at changing our rooms to ground level as there is no elevator in three story building. Advertised with kitchen, however it is not stocked. No cups, cutlery, dishes, pots, pans, dish soap, nothing. It is empty. Front desk told me we have to buy our own supplies when I asked. This should be disclosed before you book. We stayed at another property with kitchens and they were fully stocked, so this is lacking. In the tub/shower combo, the tub floor was slippery with no grip strips on the tub floor and no grab bars. Mattress in main room needs replacing , no bedside tables or lights, I used a chair as a bedside table.

Airport shuttle was convenient. Room was large. No elevator needs to be in bold print and highlighted before booking. Staff was very accommodating at changing our rooms to ground level for our return stay. The rooms were advertised as having a kitchen, which they did, however, they were not stocked. No cooking utensils, pots, pans, cutlery, dishes, cups, dish soap, nothing. I asked at the desk and was told they do not supply, you have to buy your own. That was not disclosed in the description of the property when I was looking. Makes the kitchen useless. I think this should be disclosed before you book. I stayed at a different property that had kitchen suites and they were a fully stocked kitchen.

It was a secure place for us Filipino Teachers who are teaching in the village.The hotel staff helped us freeze our frozen meat and food for our travel to the village.The have a big trailer freezer.They had an airport transfer even at 1am in the morning and 4am in the morning too.They had a friendly staff also.

For a place close to airport that is quick and easy to book with Expedia, and has free shuttle to and from airport, it was fine. Very dated and needs touchups. Kitchen with large fridge to store our frozen fish. Hotel also has an even larger freezer available. Cheap and easy, a short walk in the aerodome lake, very dated, window doesn’t open in room.

No elevator, all hallway carpets stained and dirty with grit debris. "Clean" room had dirt on floor around waste can. Television did not work, curtains were torn and askew. Shower curtain was filthy and stained at bottom. Unpleasant odor. Window was open and balcony door unlocked. Air conditioning worked well though.

The free shuttle 24/7 is convenient. 5 min from airport Plenty of parking if you have rental car. Friendly owner and desk clerk. They have a large freezer to store boxed fish which was great at no charge Now for the hotel itself…located next to abandoned building , minimal breakfast choices, large rooms with air cond, needs remodeling stained carpet , holes in walls , old building. Okay for one night stay across from macdonalds which seems to be the go to eatery in Alaska. We use a room to sleep that’s it. Not looking for full service hotel.

The good: the beds are comfortable, there is hot water and an airport shuttle and the desk personnel are friendly. The not-so-good: do not expect daily housekeeping service, budget time to make a trip to the front desk to get towels, and do not count on an operational TV. If you just need a place to sleep and do not mind the general run-down look of the property and lack of daily service, this place will do.

Very dirty, I normally don’t fuss or give reviews but it was just dirty! Even the shower had visible dirt in it. The couch was gross to sit on. Atleast the bed sheets and towels seemed clean and the shower was hot!

It served its purpose for our brief one night stay. Beds were comfortable. Good pillows. Water pressure good. No issue with having hot water. The continental breakfast was nice. Staff in lobby were pleasant. The room itself was pretty beat up. Lots of drywall patchwork. Chipped paint. Discoloration of grout and caulking. Towels and wash cloths need replacing. Everything was clean but didn’t “feel” clean if that makes sense.

Way too much money for the value. Whatever they used to clean leaves an after smell that was over powering for my wife (understand doesnt have same effect for all). Floor was sticky in ecery step....aome kind of cleaning residue, not dirty.

Very rundown property and rooms. The carpets are really gross and stained. Hotel smells. The breakfast was not breakfast- they had powdered donuts and old white bread. The room was large and had a kitchen, but hasn’t been cleaned in a while. Our beds looked like the linens were not changed- there was hair on our bed. We slept with our clothes on. The floors were all sticky. We had two rooms and the other room had to request another room because of how dirty it was. Spend a little more and get a decent property.

While we are generally happy to go minimal or rustic, this place was so extremely filthy, it was a shock. Surfaces were all sticky, there was goop on the headboard, the toiled had pee on the seat, walls and doors had gashes and large holes in them. The front desk person was courteous, check in was easy, blackout curtains were effective, and continental breakfast was fine. Despite all that, we would not stay here again. We don’t need luxury but we wanted a clean place to sleep. This was not it.

It was a pretty dingy motel with really old, worn furniture. One of the beds wasn't level and was made up so your head would lay at the bottom of the slant. There were capped wires sticking out of places. It's one thing if it was a cheap-o motel and was like this, but the room still cost $230 for one night which seemed overpriced to me for its quality. Needed a place to sleep though after getting in from the airport. Interaction with cleaning staff in the morning was lovely though, very cheery and nice.

Quick check in. But the pictured on Google are inaccurate, one of the blankets had discoloration, the paint on the walls are peeling, weird smells, the bed was awful and so noisy the whole night.

Due to a missing cable box remote there was no way to change or select a TV channel which required watching the same TV channel the whole stay. Also, the fire extinguisher was missing and not located in the wall mounted holder. The refrigerator fan was so loud it woke up the guests all night.

The biggest issue with this hotel was the noise. We stayed on the second floor, there was a room above us and we CONSTANTLY heard every movement from the guests in the upstairs room and they happened to be night owls because there was walking and moving all night long making it impossible to get a decent night of sleep (and I'm not a super light sleeper). The room was large and seemed fairly clean in terms of wide spaces but the detailed spaces that people don't usually look weren't as frequently cleaned. On the positive, they had actual hard-boiled eggs available for breakfast instead of eggs mix from cartons. Very easy access to the airport and Kincaid park. The noise really ruined things.

The hotel is quite dated. The front entrance they show on the website don't exist anymore, the whole building burnt down over a year ago. The current building is behind. Looks more like an old apartment from outside. Lots of parking. But inside is pretty old, carpet in the common area does not look has been cleaned for a while. We got a room at the far end where we could not get on to their WiFi since the signal was poor and inconsistent. But very spacious rooms. We booked a two queen bed room and got a two bedroom apartment with a kitchen.

I like the staff and the hotel itself. The name has been changed to America's Best Value Inn, which made it hard to find, as Expedia listed the place as Executive Suites. Need to update online. This is a very rough neighborhood in Anchorage. I have been here off and on since 1989, and I know this neighborhood. Property needs to upgrade parking lot and security.

I confirmed 24 hours check in and shuttle prior to making reservations as I knew we landed after 2am and flight could be delayed. Landed finally close to 5 called multiple times, no answer after almost 2 hours several calls and no answer I gave up. They charged me for the room ice called and talked to employee who was going to talk to manager , no response I've left addi messages no response. Terrible customer service. What a rip off. Left me tired and frustrated at airport after all night flight. Don't bother.

The rooms were spacious. The hotel TV did not work and the staff was unable to fix the issue during the 2 nights we stayed there. The hotel was also unwilling to compensate us for the inconvenience. They advertise TV- This is not honest marketing.

This hotel cancelled our reservation the day of our check-in because the credit card on file had expired. They made no effort to inform me so that I could update the credit card expiration. We just discovered it was cancelled when we arrived to check in at 1am and they rudely said “Your reservation was cancelled” and moved on to the next guests checking in. Such a horrible customer service experience that left us in a huge lurch with no place to stay. Not to mention that the place was dirty, noisy and smelly. I can’t say enough bad things about this place.

Cheapest hotel we could find - Just needed a fill-in night (place to sleep) with a shuttle to the airport. Hotels in Anchorage are expensive. Room was big, easily fit the entire family. Bed was comfortable. The staff accommodated our request for early check in. There are food options in the area. The property is really run down, looks quite bad on the outside. There are food options in the area, but the neighborhood is run-down. The hallways are old and stained. The floor in the room was sticky and smelled like a mix of cleaning product and grilled food.

This is an older motel. (We are in our 70's and we know what an older motel looks like, the younger generation probably does not.) The lot next to it makes it look "less than" because what was there is torn down and it is gravel and broken cement. We stayed there two nights and the rooms were clean and has what you need in a motel. Do not expect matching furniture and decor. The mattresses were very comfortable. The breakfast has a good variety of convenient options. It is perfectly adequate, clean, and the staff were very helpful. It has a McDonalds and Wendy's close by and also Chopped and Chowdered a higher end restaurant that serves the most delicious food cooked to perfection.

Well located close to the airport and has a useful airport shuttle. The property is in a poor state and the rooms are quite antiquated. That said, the bed was clean and comfortable. It really felt as if it was not value for the price paid. I appreciate it is Anchorage but anywhere else in the USA you'd be staying in a Radisson or Four Seasons! Breakfast was quite poor with very little laid out and one table to eat it at. I suppose the expectation is to grab and return to your room. Disappointing for the price paid

The picture in their add is not of the hotel in ANC. I was looking for a place to crash b4 i flew out in the AM. The room did have kitchen but nothing else. No utensils, coffee pot or condiments, nothing. The sheets and towels were clean. I got the feeling it was being used to house people who couldn't pay and were using vouchers, The breakfast was cheap white bread, coffeee and min-doughnuts, there was oj. It seemed they were ticking the boxes as a cheaply as they could to qualify for state money

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fabulous. The building is a bit rundown and in need of a little TLC: new carpets, a coat of paint and replacement of some of the doors could do wonders for the place. The spare pillow in the closet was in poor condition, the staff was very apologetic and rectified the situation immediately. The close proximity to the airport was perfect for our 11pm arrival!
