The room was pretty dirty, floors had not been mopped and even the toilet was dirty. It would be a fine place to stay if it had been cleaner but it just felt gross in the room.

The check in was very dissatisfactory. I reserved three rooms and the hotel only showed one room on their info. It took 4 hours to finally get rooms. Reportedly oversold.

While I knew this was not a highly rated motel, for $218 a night, I wasn't prepared for the actual experience! After a very long day of travel from Michigan to Anchorage, we were met with a room with hard floors that were not clean, a poorly refurbished bathroom (a stained and and dirty appearing bathtub/shower and sink ...although the shower head was great), wrinkled and dirty carpet in the halls and an overall feeling of unease. The advertised breakfast was presented in the small entry area on two folding tables with only 3 chairs to sit down. With what looked like a full house, the choices were very limited in variety and amounts when it was our turn. We ended up walking across the driveway and eating at McDonalds. It truly was amazing to us that we had paid $218 for that. I will have to say, on a more positive note that the bed was comfortable (multiple layers of foam) and we did not see any bugs. Also, the staff was very friendly.

Clearly is a place where quite a few people reside. One door was being propped open by some residents & our (2 older women) assigned room was next to it, When expressed our safety concerns, receptionist initially said no other room was available but then another person standing nearby told her to give us another room. Rooms were clean. Wooden table & chairs needed a wipe down. Couch & desk chair very worn, Rooms advertised as having a kitchen. It was clean-looking but very old with bare cupboard except for a very used small coffee maker (coffee available in foyer). Refrigerator was clean & useable.
