The room was clean and even though the shuttle was broken they ordered us a taxi. Nice place to stay overnight for next day flight.

To see this hotel online, it looked fine. The staff was nice and asked what floor we’d like to be on. When we Opened the door to our room, we were hit with a putrid foul smell. Like mold and water. We immediately called down to see if we could change rooms and none were available unlike 5 min before. They sent housekeeping to spray 10 or 12 squirts of a solution that did nothing. The bathroom showed wear. The bathtub had a rust spot in it. Carpet squares were coming up by the door. Our view from our window was of a house that had mounds of trash and people coming and going from it. It was awful. We went and bought Lysol spray and candles To try to get rid of the smell. For paying almost $500 for the room, I expect more. This brand of hotel is off our list. The linens were clean and the breakfast was fine. The staff was nice but not helpful.

Room was small, but clean and decent. No complaints. Just know that Summer prices for hotels in Anchorage are outrageous, the cost to value ratio is completely messed up. This was no exception.
