Airport shuttle required six phone calls to hotel to show up. Waited 75 minutes and the hotel is 1.5 miles from the airport. Among the items not working at the hotel: shower, breakfast juice dispenser, pancake maker, common area TV, workout room AC/heater, workout room stationary bike. Also, pool isn’t heated, buckets in hallways for leaking ceilings. Breakfast food rates one out of ten at best. All-time worst hotel experience and this ragtag show costs upwards of $400-plus a night.

It was very clean but run down. Things like the shower rack was barley attached to the wall. For breakfast, the juice and pancake machine were out of order. The person i called for the shuttle pick up told me to go talk to the driver to get picked up. They said they can't answer question like where he would pick us up when he comes back, or even if he was coming back. He had just left the airport. I called again 45min later because he never came back. It took another half hr. Then he told us we need to schedule it in advance next time? It was literally 5min away.

Location is close to the airport. Shuttle is convenient. However, the hotel was in the process of renovating and due to the placement of the supplies cargo-sized containers, it deduced parking availability, significantly. Also, Business Center was not available while we stayed and we were not able to print our luggage tags for the cruise. We wish it was on Expedia or the hotel website when we made th reservation. Complimentary continental breakfast was good but the pancake machine and juice machine were out of order while we stayed. Room was clean and it was quiet. It is great for short term stay for pre or post cruise layover because of the short distance and shuttle service to the airport.

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. The room was dirty, rug wasn’t vacuumed, bed wasn’t changed (brown stains/marks on the sheets), paint in the bathroom falling off the ceiling into the tub. Pool was murky, had stuff floating in the water and smelled of old water/sewer. Tried calling both Expedia and property manager to possibly get a refund/partial refund for what we had to deal with, but they could only offer points or a 15% off coupon.

I initially booked this room because of the good reviews 8.4 stars on hotels.com. However, when we checked in, the bath water was brown, and we pulled the comforter down to check the bed. There was hair on the sheets and they did not look as if they had been changed. When I contacted the front desk to ask for a manager, they offered a different room and said that contacting a manager wasn't necessary. I tried to show the front desk clerk the pictures of this issues and he did not want to see them. In the second room, the bath water was clear, but when I pulled down the comforter, the sheets had stains and did not look as if they had been changed. There was also black mold on ceiling tiles and the rooms were dirty in general. This was certainly not what I had expected from Holiday Inn Express and was most certainly overpriced at $339 for one night. My wife and I ended up sleeping in our rental car until our red eye flight from Anchorage. At least the rental car wasnt filthy.

The room was very dark on the ground floor. The room lights must be improved. The painting in the room was very dull. The bathroom was in good condition. Housekeeping seemed to be doing good job. Front desk agents could be more engaging and guest service oriented. When I greeted the receptionist during checking there was no smile, no greeting back “your iD”. Perhaps more customer service training would be helpful.

Was an adequate place to stay the night before we flew out at 6am. For the cost we expected a much nicer place. It’s old w tired decor. However it has a Nice amount of space in the room w king bed, desk/chair and TV chair. Had fridge, microwave.

The first room had someone in it. The second room was almost 80 and the air did not work. The third room was also hot with no air. The fourth finally had working air. All were dirty, especially the bathrooms. Floors/ceilings and furniture were stained. The hallways smelled like marijuana. The pool was so unclean the kids wouldn’t go in it. The list of negatives is long. We will never stay here again and would never recommend this place to anyone.

The WiFi is completely horrendous. For Alaska, where most main phone carriers have spotty (at best) service, WiFi is fundamental to have properly working as to not render electronic devices useless.

Bed was very uncomfortable and only managed to get 2-3,hrs sleep at most. The air con unit is very loud. The elevator is super slow as is the staff who run this place.

Staff was rude. Heat didn't work in our room. Ended up leaving and staying at a different hotel. Still waiting for the refund. Spoke to the general manager about the issue and was pretty much dismissed. Checked local ordnance and wouldn't you know Anchorage Alaska requires functional heat in a hotel.

When I arrived, they would not let me check in and I had to wait twenty minutes because there were no rooms. When I got to my room it looked like one of the beds pillows didn't get changed. I opened up the refrigerator, and it had food in it. (Takeout). The staff was not friendly at all.

The room was good and it was close to the airport. But, the front desk staff were incredibly rude. Particularly the person in the morning who was completely unhelpful when the airport shuttle was 20 minutes late. She was in the breakfast room helping herself and we learned later from the shuttle driver he had been trying to call and no one was picking up the phone. Several of us attempted to work with the young woman at the front desk but she was extremely rude and wouldn’t even make eye contact. Just kept saying “10 minutes” and staring at her computer screen.

Front desk was an abomination, asked to speak to a manager 12 hours ago and still haven't heard back from them. Called for the airport transfer and they took the phone off the hook so we had to pay for an Uber. Every guest jad a different complaint. ADVISE NOT TO STAY THERE!

Good: comfy beds, soft towels, nice showers, thick curtains The bad: the property is in a state of disrepair where many things don’t work and don’t get fixed. We were given a room where the door didn’t open. In the replacement room, the AC didn’t work, the clock radio was broken, the carpets were dirty, there was no “Do Not Disturb” hanger, the tv channel guide was inaccurate, and quite a few tv channels were frozen and didn’t work. Staff are friendly but overwhelmed and frustrated with the amount of repairs needed. Don’t expect anything to get addressed during your stay.

Staff lied to me about shuttle service. I waited more than an hour after 4 calls for pickup from airport. During check-in, two people on duty, only one waited on clients while there was a line. The one who couldn't care less, was also snippy with me when I was having a conversation with the employee who was checking me in. Not coming back to Wyndham....

Great staff at check in . Room was up to standard , shuttle from airport took 45 minutes to arrive and they are only minutes from airport, Lady at checkout was the rudest person ever experienced at a hotel .

Limited parking, had to park in the back of the hotel , next to two drunk homeless people partying on hotel property. The room key wouldn’t open the outside door, had to walk around the front of the hotel to get in. Front staff was not polite. Lady in front of me said someone was in her room when she got to it. The property needs a renovation. Its got great bones.. however just not up to date. Otherwise kept clean best one can, breakfast was good, staff was wonderful! The area is surrounded by some pretty trails..however lots of homeless people reside on them.

Shuttle transport person was less than welcoming. Upon arrival at the hotel he dropped us and our luggage at the front engine the rain. No assistance was offered with our luggage. Carpeting is worn in hallways and not clean. In one hallway a portion of the ceiling had fallen down and was left laying in the middle of the hallway. Breakfast was mediocre. No pancakes or waffles because machines were in-operable as well as the juice dispenser was out of service. For the amount we paid we were very disappointed.
