We were here for work out of Statter Harbor and the hotel shuttles were SO helpful to/from the harbor and airport. A lovely no-frills stay that provided us just what we needed during our time in Juneau!

I stay here every 2 weeks for work. One of the reasons I like staying here is the ease and accommodating use of their shuttle. However this time I could not contact anyone. Tried to call several times to be picked up from the Airport but ended up having to call an uber. It was disappointing after flying all day and just wanting to get there and relax and sleep. I'll stay again. Hopefully it was just a one off.

Nice clean room with fridge and microwave and near the airport. This hotel offers a shuttle bus and it was very convenient. In the early am coffee was made and breakfast bars/yogurt available.

They had fans, fans are nice. Staff were very courteous and responsive to requests. The elevator was a little scary. It made a bang when going up. Would have liked a comfy chair in the room, only an office chair, but a nice one. TV iffy. Could have used grab bars in the tub, maybe I need to ask for ADA room. Very clean room and hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

Airport courtesy shuttle van is very accommodating. The front desk people, Van driver & housekeeping are awesome to work with. Our family prefers to stay here whenever we are in Juneau for Dr. appts or shopping.

Better than some other Super8 hotels. Convenient location close to the airport. The hotel shuttle was extremely helpful. The front desk staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast was very basic.

The pick up point was the Alaska Marine ferry in Auke Bay - about 12 miles from City Center. Van was large and very clean. Shuttle serves both ferry and airport.

Shuttles to the ferry and to/from the airport were available. Hotel was close to a bus stop and several restaurants. Downtown Juneau was a 15 minute bus ride for $2. Enjoyed our stay over 4 days.

CONS: Dirty/disgusting room. Our room had a funky smell, had an empty beer can sitting on the microwave and false eyelashes on the bathroom floor. So gross There was also something white on the comforter, no idea what it was & I will not speculate. The room gave off "by the hour" vibes. We were stuck in Juneau due to a flight cancelation, so I just put the comforter on the floor and made the best of it. .... Oh.... and the shuttle driver was scary as hell. Drove like a mad man & blew right through a stop light like it wasn't even there and tried to play it off, but my husband & I both noticed. My husband made a joke like ..."f that stop light, huh???", but it wasn't funny. This guy could've caused a bad wreck. If the property reads this, the driver had dark hair, was young & handsome and had an accent. Please get him some driving lessons! PROS: The lobby and whatnot appeared to be fairly tidy upon first glance. The guy at the front desk was super nice & helpful. Unfortunately I have to give 2 stars over all because the room was nasty & there is no excuse for that.

The location of the hotel is great. Walking distance from the airport though they do have a shuttle that can take you if needed. The hotel is also very close to the bus line which is very easy to take, $2 per ride. Also across the street is McDonald’s, Subway, banks, grab and go market, coffee stand, Froyo, and an Asian restaurant. 3 miles from the glacier. We walked it in 1.5 hrs but a bus ride will get you within a mile of the entrance. 8 miles from downtown. Again the city bus will get you there in 30 min, $2. The bus ends right at the downtown station where you can very easily walk all over the ports, shops, restaurants. My one complaint about the hotel is the cleanliness. There were several weird red/brown splatter marks on the ceiling. The room was so incredibly hot and no air. We left our window open the entire 5 days we were there but the hotel is on the main road which made it really loud all the time. Other than that, would totally stay here again

The room was really dirty. Carpet was stained, dropped something on the ground and under the bed and behind the dresser was full of trash and dust, hair in the bed and shower that wasn't ours. States breakfast when looking for a hotel w breakfast but it's a "grab and go" oatmeal, almost expired yogurt, and granola bars- still would have guessed something hot but no, coffee was never good and always tasted old and burnt. The highlight was the nice young man driving the shuttle best customer service.

I didn't like that there was used soap in the shower and dirt everywhere in the hotel. Would absolutely never stay here again and will tell everyone i know never to stay there. ICKY.

This hotel is really near our office so this is the 3rd time we stayed here. This time, the room had a broken thermostat control-like it looks like it’s been yanked out of the wall. One of pillowcases had a stain. There was a urine smell in the room.

Why spend an arm and a leg when visiting Juneau. This is a nice little hotel near the airport with shuttle service. Breakfast isn’t that great, but McDonald’s is next door snd there’s also a great convenience store across the parking lot. If you visit on that rare warm day there’s no air conditioning in the room. Just a fan.

We were turned away from this property, after paying in advance for our stay. The young man in charge was dirty, rude and aggressive. It was clear the hotel was overbooked. We were told we would receive a refund, and had to find another, more expensive hotel late that night.

We were so grateful to Vilma for her help and service! They stored our luggage for us after we'd checked out so we didn't have to take it everywhere with us until it was time to go to the ferry. We could not have been more happy with her and the other staff for all their willingness and help! It made our stay just that much better! Thank you, Super 8!

Pleasantly surprised. The staff shines! Very friendly, helpful and available. The airport/ferry shuttle is a huge amenity and is really appreciated. I loved how the screened windows open to catch the fresh air. The property and rooms are very clean. It could use a bit of renovating, but the cleanliness, friendliness of staff and close-by food and shopping options outweigh any aesthetics. Only one thing I found needs addressing is the smell from the bathroom sink drain when water runs. It's the drain and definitely not the water. I drank the water and the water is fine. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

We paid what we believe was a premium to be treated like dirt by the front desk staff. The housekeeping staff were nice and friendly however. The staff at the front desk were not very helpful or friendly. They acted like we were a nuisance and an inconvenience. Every question we asked about access to their freezer, breakfast expectations, etc. was met with hostility. Overall, this property is fine. Very close to the airport, basic amenities and just good enough to entice us to book it. We only booked it because it checked those boxes and has a freezer for fish that we caught during our time in Alaska.

We picked this site because it was SO close to the airport, which helped out with our very early return flight. Still, we were close to the public bus stops, fast food restaurants, and shopping. It was a peaceful neighborhood with friendly, helpful staff. We were quite pleased with the whole setup!

The location is ideal. Close to a convenient store for food & beverages. There are several restaurants in walking distance. There is a mall across the street. The hotel is very clean & the staff is very helpful. There is a shuttle to the airport & ferry terminal. This is now my go to stay in the Juneau Valley.

Was in Juneau for business, working close to the airport. Looking for a place convenient to airport that was quiet, safe. Older hotel, but in good, clean condition, Friendly staff. Very accessible free airport shuttle. Good parking (even with previous snow fall). A few restaurants nearby (McDonalds, Subway, Donna's, and an asian restaurant. Convenience store (Breeze Inn) right across street. Close to Mendenhall Glacier - only 10-15 minutes to historic area. Great place for business travel. Would also recommend for tourists.

Pros: The location of the property was convenient for us. The room was clean (kudos to the maids). Cons: broken room thermostat broken coffee maker, and broken tub stpper. The breakfast was a joke--almost nonexistent. They only had yougart, granola bars, oatmeal (made with water), coffee and tea. This is reminiscent of CoVid days.

The front desk staff is excellent . Do not expect to get clean towels if you ask —- they only want to service room when guest leaves — a way to be green ? No a way to save money . The hotel felt safe . The location is good and my 3rd floor room was very quiet. The “grab and go breakfast is granola bars, yogurt, and terrible coffee. So basically you’re just getting a location nice front desk, staff, and a moderately clean room.

Great location 11 minutes from Juneau airport. Friendly, helpful staff. Great shuttle service to airport, even at 3:30am! Breakfast offering could be better (protein bars and instant oatmeal). A little pricey.

Staff is great and obvious works hard to make it a great place to stay but hotel could use some basic maitenance: toilet not attached well to floor and wobbled when standing up from it, tub had terrible drainage and started to gather an inch of water within a couple minutes of shower running, orange stains on carpet. Etc. Breakfast was just some granola bars and yogurt and tea and coffee and hot chocolate so you might want to supplement.

They had a continental breakfast that was open from 6 to 10 AM. I came down at nine a few days and then it was already closed down for lack of food. Otherwise property was good. Room was clean and quiet. I would stay there again.
