This hotel has been newly renovated and is very clean. Hotel staff were very friendly. The room was quiet and bed was comfortable. Great convenient location for walking around Downtown Mobile. However, self parking was not that convenient and there was no microwave in the room which I did not like. Also several of the ice machines on different floor did not work as well. All in all it was a good hotel though.

I didn't get an opportunity to eat at the highly rated restaurant on premise, but the Ambiance of the restaurant, the sitting room, and other sitting areas on the ground level were sensual and inviting. The bed was very comfortable, and the towels were quality. I did not love the small seemingly not completely full shampoo and soap amenities, but they did provide them. There's also a great little coffee shop on premise. I loved the art & vibe throughout the hotel. The desk person who checked me in on my very late arrival was very helpful and informative about the area, also. While they do offer valet parking, there is a parking garage connected to the hotel, and plenty of streetside parking meter spots within a multi-block range. Speaking of the range, there are all kinds of fun, artsy, quirky restaurants and bars very near the hotel. Additionally, there are historic and museum opportunities nearby. I definitely look forward to staying there again in September and having time to enjoy the restaurant.

This was my second stay within about a month at the Admiral. I think it's safe to say that this is my go-to when passing through mobile. I arrived early enough this time to have dinner at the delicious Le Moyne's Chophouse on premise. As a restaurant owner and foodie, it was one of the best meals from start to finish that I've had in a long time.... Highly recommended. From the speakeasy, Art Deco vibe to the inviting "Living Room" bar, & the comfortable rooms, I really enjoy every stay at the Admiral.

This hotel reminds me of the Monteleone in New Orleans. It is clean and smells fantastic, has an amazing upscale vibe, the bar has a very intimate feel with great seating and swanky drinks. The rooms are comfortable but trendy. I am always surprised by the pricing of this hotel, especially when compared to the larger name hotels with less atmosphere. It absolutely our go to in Mobile, Alabama.

The hotel was well appointed and clean. It was in a great location to walk to different shops, restaurants and attractions. I enjoyed a pre dinner swim in the outdoor pool. We had dinner in the hotel’s restaurant and morning coffee/pastries in the hotel cafe. The staff were helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

There are two options for parking, paid self parking across the street or valet at the hotel. Daupin Street just a couple of blocks away with plenty of restaurants / entertainment options. Hotel lobby / restaurant / rooms were recently updated, very nice accommodations. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The only downside was valet parking. When we arrived there were no signs as to where to park and no attendant. We parked where it said valet and walked inside the hotel to have an attendant come out with a luggage carrier. Valet parking was $25/night. We enjoyed the bars that were within walking distance and had a great time.

This is a beautifully renovated property. It is true eye candy and very elegant - rare!! The staff was friendly and excellent! There is a parking lot next to the hotel for $10 a night - they use the same lot for valet - missed it and would use it next time. Everything was very clean. The bed and pillows were great. Coffee in the room. I slept well. Two easy blocks from the historic downtown. A great stay. I also ate at the restaurant and was very good with wonderful service. Recommended!

The hotel was beautiful but clearly a mold problem throughout. The air conditioning kicking on and off all night honestly sounds like a jet engine. It was so hard to sleep. Around 2am, someone next door to us banged on the door over and over again so loudly and for at least 3 minutes straight. Bang bang bang it was quite scary. I was internally freaking out!! All my children woke up, my husband served in Iraq for several years and it was triggering for him. I know the hotel can’t control that but wow..that was a lot. Throughout the hotel there was this strange stench. It smelled very much like mold. I had to puff my inhaler all night and into the morning. The cafe made up for all that. The woman running it the next morning was very kind and everything tasted delicious!!

Issue with the room is that the big dinosaur A/C unit next to the bed was very loud. Luckily it was cold out so only had to run it very little to keep at 70. If it were the middle of the summer it would perhaps be different. Towels in the bathroom gotta go. Rough and thin. Staff were all great. Did not use the Resto or bar so no comment.

Super friendly staff from front desk, to service in The Living Room, to valet. Walking distance to a lot of shops, restaurants and venues. I was a single female traveler and was okay walking around. Beautiful historical buildings and park close. Room was nice and comfortable Bed was fantastic. Bathroom is a tad small but clean and good for 1 person. Enjoyed an hour at The Living Room winding down. She didn't get my order correct (specify Oysters Louis) for dinner in my room but it was still good. Make sure to actually request your upgrades - they weren't offered

Stunningly beautiful. Decor was amazing . Room clean . Great location. Valet very nice . Room next to exit , which was loud. Inside staff isn’t very personable but that’s ok they get the job done . Overall will definitely be back !

Decor was very nice, the room was very nice. The air would turn on and off frequently, when off the room would oddly heat up considerably. Overall we really liked our stay, very close to everything we were looking for.

Upon arrival at the front desk it took the lady about 5 minutes to acknowledge us. Our view was of the roof. The tv was so far away from the bed and so small it was pointless to watch from bed. The shower design is very poor. There is nothing there to block the water so when you shower the entire bathroom flooded. The only closet was inside the bathroom so if I had anything on the floor of the closet it would have gotten wet as the water went in there too. No counter around the sink to see anything. No side of there was room service or not it wasn't mentioned at check in nor did I see anything about it in the room. The WORST part is that I booked on hotels. Com which I was charged for the entire stay automatically. Apparently hotels.com did not send over my payment so the hotel charged me AGAIN and a week later I am still waiting on my refund….

Hotel was absolutely gorgeous. To be honest the staff was not the friendliest. We tried our best to be friendly with them and from the valet to front desk they seemed bothered and could care less. Also the bar and dinning shuts down earlier than as a traveler would like. Loved the entire look of the venue but honestly the staff ruined the experience for us. We even checked out a day early and went to a different hotel where we had a very different experience.

We had an excellent stay at this property. From Jeremiah’s kindness and smile at check in, to Devon’s help with Valet and Angelia’s local recommendations at the cafe, we had a great stay! Rooms were really big, food on property was great and easy walk to everything downtown. We will stay again!

Got back late from dance competition. Called front desk to get more towels and body wash, and I had to go downstairs to get it. Seemed like they were very short staffed. Wouldn’t answer the phone either.

Beautiful property, freshly remodeled in elegant hipster style, very clean and comfortable. Check in staff all mediocre, distracted, grudging. One told me street parking meters started at 6am, which just seems unlikely. Wrong. 2nd desk person tole me 7, also wrong. Starts at 8am, as goes with common sense. Wrong information, conveyed rudely.

Room connected to the stairwell and hear staff complaining about the hotel guests thru the night. Refrigerator took forever to cooldown. And some staff could care less about the guests. I have stayed here several times. I think I am done.

Perfect location to enjoy downtown Mobile. Great social scene in "the Living Room" where we saw a fantastic piano man grooving the old standards and there is a good Chop House in the building (Le Moyne). The BEST BEDs in a very nice size (2 doubles) room with HBO too! Our second stay and we will return!

Great location. Walkable to everywhere: parks, restaurants, bars, shopping etc. staff was friendly and helpful. Decor was upscale eclectic and had a nice vibe. We found parking just behind the hotel in a lot for just $11 for 24 hours. Valet was $50 but it was Valentines day. Comfortable beds. We will come back if we want a night away in downtown Mobile again.

The Admiral has been our go to hotel in Mobile for the past 6 months. It is close to downtown and all good restaurants. The staff is also super cool and very helpful.

Great historic property, very friendly and helpful staff and only minutes from restaurants on Dauphin Street. Only suggestion would be to give more details on parking in advance since parking is located in an adjacent parking deck with one way streets around the hotel. Other than that, highly recommend the hotel.

Everything was good except for the fact we were not told about the dress code for the hotel restaurant. We had just in from a trip from the Northeast (MD) and wanted to grab something to eat. My family had on travel wear and pretty much were denied access. The waitress stated “she would look” o my to return to another worker and say; but what about the dress code? We politely walked out and went elsewhere.

Beautiful hotel, newly refurbished and done exceptionally well. Great service from everyone we encountered. Brilliant restaurant on site as well. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Location is great as well, 2 min walk to strip of restaurants and bars.

Excellent hotel in all areas ! Newly renovated and the rooms are very clean , comfortable , and quiet! The restaurants had very good food , too . I could safely walk to must tourist attractions, very good restaurants and more ! Great hotel !
