Had a great 3 night stay in mid-October (2nd time we had stayed there). Staff are extraordinarily nice and the grounds are lovely and well-maintained. Never got a chance to use the pool, but it looked great. Some nice food/beverage options actually in walking distance. We have relatives in the area and we'll be back.

When we walked in the front doors to the check in desk, it smelled of cigarette smoke inside that I almost canceled and booked another hotel. The lady checking me in was so nice, though, I changed my mind. The carpet was very sticky and there was no body soap or body wash, just face soap.

The thermostat in our room never dropped below 73, despite being set on 69. The day we left, it was 76 in our room! The mini fridge leaked. The toilet required two flushes to empty. There were two stray hairs in the shower. The staff was super nice and friendly!

I would give this motel a better rating except I stayed here last month and had a much better room for the same price. This time the shower was not as good. My wife and I had problems figuring out how the shower worked. The bed was uncomfortable. The bed was actually broken down on one side. The pillows were terrible. I give a good rating for being quiet and having a good air conditioner.

The hotel is okay, and the front desk staff were fantastic. Our primary complaint is that for some reason the hotel decided to have a massive spotlight blasting literally into our window all night long. It's not an accident, it's a feature for how they illuminate the building. We had to use a coat hanger to pinch the curtains shut to make the room at least a little bit dimmer. Very hard to sleep with that much light. Totally baffles me that such a spotlight on the outside of the building exists.

The service was excellent, but I was disappointed that my room didn't have a microwave or refrigerator. I could do without those two things, but there was no closet or iron, so I had to attend my meeting with a wrinkled shirt.

The staff was very nice, very clean, walking distance to nice restaurants. The only complaint would be the beds, they were hard as a rock. Did not sleep good at all. Needs a pillow topper or new mattress.

Nice location and friendly check in staff. First room AC was not working. I was quickly moved to another room. Pros; nice breakfast, ample parking, cold AC and decent mattress. Cons; second floor (232) facing pool is very pound with kids swimming or screaming. Request odd number I was in 239. Terrible pillows, down and thin. Facial /body soap is a bar and leaves a residue. Dorm fridge door would not shut completely due to the freezer completely froze solid with excessive ice. I turned off and placed a towel to catch the water so the next guest won’t have to deal with it.

This is a fairly new Hampton Inn and it was very clean and comfortable. Convenient to downtown Mobile and our relatives. The staff was by far the best thing about our stay! From the minute we walked in until we checked out the front desk staff was very friendly, helpful and approachable. I can't recall having such a nice group there to greet us in any other hotel!

I have never had an easier registration. I told the hotel my name when I requested shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and my key was waiting for me when I got there. Every single employee, EVERY employee, was helpful and cheerful. I recommend this hotel highly.

Jocelyn at the front desk did a wonderful job of solving a problem with the room I was given at check-in. On a busy weekend when the hotel was near capacity, she found an available room, moved me to that room which was much nicer, and I slept very well because of her efforts on my behalf. At the front desk on Friday evening, June 13, 2025, Melissa was excellent. Personable, experienced, and very helpful. Thank you, Melissa! On Sunday morning (I believe she was also there on Saturday morning), the young lady was preoccupied with her cell phone and less concerned with a guest standing at her desk, acting as though I was causing her an inconvenience. When I checked out on Sunday morning, June 15, 2025, I was emailed an invoice that showed my residence address as being in Las Vegas, NV and not in Baton Rouge. How did this happen? Very strange.

The night staff was very rude and not very friendly. We stayed there because it was next to the hospital and my wife was having an operation the next morning and was very sick and that's not what we need.

The hotel is small, but nice rooms, pleasant and helpful staff, and a good hot breakfast. It's immediately by Providence Hospital, which we were going to at 5:00 a.m., so it's the perfect location if you're going to be hospital. It's also extremely close to the airport, so if tired from traveling, that short drive from airport will be appreciated.

We stayed here for four nights while in town for a funeral. The property is well kept, although on the older side. We had a king suite which was perfect for our needs. Breakfast each morning was excellent with a variety of hot and cold foods. The coffee was great! Quiet, easy to access, and convenient. It worked well for our needs. Would stay here again if the opportunity presented itself.

The hotel was very nice and quiet. The breakfast was delicious and had good choices. I really enjoyed the hot tea and cookies when we arrived. The only thing I didn’t like was the cleaning staff waking me on my last day at 9:30 to remind me check out was at 11:00. I’d rate the hotel 9 out of 10 and stay there again.

The staff was very friendly. The room was overall clean. Breakfast is 6-10 am. They made cookies for my daughters. Beds are not too bad, I have been in much worse. Pillow are a little soft for my liking, I prefer a little more firmness, but 2 pillows fix that. The tv, lights and outlets work. I am satisfied with my stay here. Check in was easy and great. There is a Japanese steakhouse across the street. Even though the airport is near by, never heard the planes.
