Extend-a-Suites Phoenix

My experience was interesting. The property was not current \ith the pictures on website.. There was not breakfast included, only coffee. The pool was not in use and looked like it hasn't been in quite some time. The room appeared to be clean until I decided to take my shoes off and my socks from floor were black and dirty. The staff was awesome. The price is very affordable. Thanks.

The staff was friendly and amazing. The hotel itself is rundown. Description states it has a hot tub it does not. The hotel definitely needs to be updated and repaired.

Told me to wash my towels in order to get another set. Used the first set to clean a dirty room. Told me my son could not swim because pool was closed yet kept it open for 3 more hours

I did not like that the pool was not available. I'm not sure how long it has been empty.

It was alright for the prices. Very disappointed that the pool wasn’t available never would have booked had I known

It was inexpensive and clean enough. Staff was friendly. Ice machine is till broken.

It appeared that the hotel was being used to house large numbers of homeless people. Obvious drug use taking place. Facilities were grimy and run down. Shower didn’t work. Pool closed.

The price was right and the staff was friendly. Too bad there ice machine has been out of order since before forever and the only vending they have is from the front desk. A little pricey but an excellent Mexican restaurant within walking distance.

The good thing about the hotel is there were no bugs. However during our entire stay at least once a day we had to go and get both room keys rekeyed because the door kept rejecting them. The pool was never swimmable as it hadn't been cleaned in I don't know how long, the bathrooms were clean but they were run down. One of the rooms that we had the toilet seat I went and bought a screw for the toilet seat because there was only one on it and it was annoying to sit on. With no microwave and no refrigerator in the rooms, it was more expensive to stay here because of having to eat out and not be able to store food then it would have been to go to one of the suites which had a refrigerator , microwave and stove in the room. I understand that we're paying a low rate, however it just seems to me that the basic necessities at the very least should be taken care of.

I needed a cheap place to stay and it fit the bill. They sold snacks at the counter, which was nice. So I bought some popcorn and popped it in my room. The room included a frig and microwave. I had an issue with the TV and both front desk people came to help. Very nice people!

The room was not clean, all the doors and frames had filthy fingerprints on them. The tub was dirty, we asked for the sheets to be changed before we slept in them as there was paw prints and long hairs on them.

Very good if you like bed bugs, smelly rooms, sticky floors and no water pressure in the shower. Pros: Did not rain in, even in monsoon rain!

Do not stay here! The rooms are disgusting; I’m so glad I went to look at my room before we agreed to stay here. There were stains on the sheets, the air conditioner sucked, paint chips all over the floor, the acrylic of the tub was missing in several spots, and there was a notice on the door for a mandatory pest control visit at 10:00-10:30 am and if we did not let them in then we would be charged for it. Do not stay here!!!

The room was gross. The bathroom was disgusting. Har on the floor. Plumbing was hanging halfway out of was. Shower was filthy and covered in stains. Also the ad for it was misleading. Booking from Oregon and not knowing the city I was led to believe that it was 3.5 miles from cave cr when it was a 35 min drive on the freeway. We didn’t stay there our second night and will never consider it again

Room was dirty and smelled bad.

Bathroom was disgusting. Shower was full of leftover hair & carpet was disgusting.

There were Roaches in the room. Coming out of shower drain room was not clean dirt sheets.

The cable and wifi was out. Got lots of sleep though! :)

Could have had better lighting. Only one stand up light in the whole room, not bright.

TV always turned on highest volume level each time I used it. Bathroom had burn stains on the tub.

No lights on the side off bed

This hotel will do for a budget hotel. The bed and pillows were comfortable. It’s located close by to most of the PHX attractions with no more than a 30 minute drive. We had an issue with our TV one night and were unable to call the front desk or corporate numbers because they’ve been disconnected. Thankfully, I was able to fix the TV myself. All though the shower is an older style shower, the water is hot and has lots of pressure. The staff upon check-in was friendly and efficient.

I guess you get what you pay for... Didn't see roaches but still felt like a roach motel... Had two queen beds in the room, one super hard, the second was bigger than the platform... Super uncomfortable. Floor was sticky.

Went for the night, but couldn’t get comfortable or cool. Ned was extremely uncomfortable and loud (yes, for that reason) and felt like it was extremely old. Cigarette stains, stains on the floor, and ended up leaving and didn’t even care to ask for a refund. Horrible stay. Outside was…interesting to say the least. Felt I had to keep an eye on my car.

Shower controls only had hot or cold no mix. Tv turned off and had to get them to turn back on due to WiFi connection. Mattress was cheap and no support.

I checked in for one night. I was evicted from my apartment and had been driving for uber to make ends meet. I had every intention of staying there for about a week, however after the first night I was short on funds for another night. I communicated with the office that I might be a couple hours late. I needed to drive for uber to make money for the night. I was told I had a 30 minute extension. I said I may not be back until noon. Anyway, I finally made enough money by 1pm and called the properly stating I was on my way to pay. The front desk lady was extremely rude and said if I wasn’t back within 10 minutes she would thro all of my belongs out of the unit. I arrived at the unit and had to be escorted out by security as he watched me gather my possessions. I understand I don’t get to make up the rules and as someone who used to work in hospitality at a JW Marriott we would always accommodate a late checkout by a couple hours. I was told I was put on the DNR list and if I came back to the property they would call the police. As someone who was sincerely just trying to stay another night I feel like the staff went completely overboard. I have never been treated so poorly at a hotel. It was like I was being evicted. I realize a lot of people stay past checkout and cause issues as this makes it hard for housekeeping to turn the rooms around. But if I am communicating that I fully intend to pay but am running late you don’t need to come at me with all guns blazing and trea.

For the price and location it was a great place to stay for a night. The front desk agents were friendly and eager to help!

Front desk staff was welcoming and friendly as any of the front desk ladies always ( been here before ) are upon my arrival. I appreciated the lady whom checked me in, allowed me to have a voice / option for the room & wheeere it was on the property, I chose in the back past the pool in #245, it is away from traffic coming in & out and the I17 that’s right next to this property, really it’s a convenient thing being right off the acces road, to get off and not have to go in a big circle to get where I am going, HOWEVER it’s the only thing I BARELY dislike , the highway is right there so if ur room is near the office, oh almost hear as cars will pull-in& out& around all times of the day! So I really appreciated her giving me that final say! I felt welcomed and cared for . I cannot recall the woman’s name that check me in around 4:30apm on a Wednesday May 21st, 2025!! You are an angelic person !! thank you all for everything you do! Your Love and patience always will yo a very long waaay..: just know THiS pretty please! U guys have come so far since the renovation and showing up everyday soooo so can check in simply and efficiently!

Office staff was awesome give Heather and Kelli a raise. Bathroom could be cleaaner,TV and Microwave issues. Perfect price for our budget, Perfect location for our itinerary. Need to offer more towels. Balcony needs to be reinforced and safer.

Staff was the best part, always present and willing to help. Amenities were just enough for my week-long stay.

BUYER BEWARE: THIS FEELS LIKE A MURDER MOTEL. I pulled up to Extend-a-Suites in Phoenix Arizona at 1:39 A.M. Immediately, there were several red flags: 1) bullet-proof glass separated me from the desk attendant 2) a sign on the bullet-proof glass reads: “YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND AFTER SEEING YOUR ROOM” 3) homeless people live here 4) the cars in the parking lot are tell-tale signs of poverty 5) it smells more like Mary Jane than Mr. Clean 6) feels VERY UNSAFE….and yes, you feel like you’re going to get murdered.

The fact that it was too close to the fwy and I could hear the cars speeding made it hard for me to sleep.Homeless people hanging out in the parking lot had me awake, I didn’t feel safe.

Just the location is hard to get to because it’s on a one way street. Other then that .. it’s a little rough looking on the outside…..had NO bug/roach issues.. very happy will be back if I need to book again

This facility is conveniently accessed from the freeway and and has ample parking. It looks nice on the outside. However, it appears that this is a property used for short-term housing for homeless person's and families who are subsidized through government programs. There is quite a lot of smoking outside of the rooms. It is recently painted, but the maintenance is very poor (cracked second floor walkways, rusted plumbing, sticky around trash cans). Furniture is basic and lower quality (uncomfortable mattress and linens).

I liked that the place was sort of hidden. I really liked the grills they had, I wish the other one was functionable. The room was big and roomy even though it had two beds. I wish it had a table and chairs rather than a desk. But I really loved all the people that worked there, they were absolutely great and so nice and friendly. Very professional as well all of them. All of them greeted you and made my day. Thank you all the staff you were awesome.

One of the barbecues did not have a grill. And the other barbecue was very dirty. But the pool was clean, room was clean. They have 24hour room service for snacks and frozen munchies, pretty cool.

I asked for things to get clean such as the microwave and RR. Gnats stuck to the palte in the microwave, hair in the tub, drawers dirty with food crumbs and dusty. No ice, no breakfast even when the advertisement said there was. Floors were sticky. Door was unsafe to couldnt lock well. Asked for towels to be replaced and nothing was done. They had pest control come well we were staying at the hotel. Giving us a time frame to be out of the room. We had to go get tp and towels ourselves even after we asked. Dhdhdhrhrhrhrhrhr
