The carpet and bedding felt moist like when you stay in a hotel in California. The fireplace ran out of propane right away. The pool is a lot smaller than the pictures make it look. The small pool made it hard to seperate kids from adults who were drinking quite a bit. The resort fee is not worth it because this place is more like a fancy hotel not a resort. Parking also costs $22. Pricing was a little much for what is offered.

This was a nice property - We had no issues at all - We enjoyed the great fire pit in the evening and the live music. The star gazing was also great. Our food at the restaurant and cocktail was just ok - $50 for a bowl of soup and a martini that was only filled 1/2 way. That was disappointing and expensive. So many other places in Sedona with better food and drinks. My only complaint would be the lack of lighting in the parking area. Very dark. Hard to see if you have any type of vision problem. Also, no bellman - for this nice hotel, a bellman should be on site.

This place looks great online but it is far from what is advertised. Not a resort - the pool is mediocre and dirty. The staff was rude at every interaction and not helpful. They acted annoyed at any question we had. There were bugs in our room, we were laying in bed the first night and bugs were falling on us. We had to check out after the first night and move to another hotel. The room was suppose to have a modern walk in shower - ours had a dirty old standard bath tub. The views were great - that is the most positive thing. The location is not where you want to be in Sedona - it is about 25 minutes from where everything is. The spa service I got was wonderful but overpriced. The spa facilities were crap - dirty gross hot tub that no one should get in. Algae growing on the sides. I recommend not stay here ever.

We stayed at the Hilton Sedona Resort at Bell Rock for 4 nights and 5 days. The property is beautiful at first glance, but we were disappointed by the state of the patio furniture throughout the resort. The cushions were dusty and stained, and this was the case in the pool area as well. The cabanas also needed some attention, and there was little to no shade by the pool during our visit, with only six umbrellas set up, which was insufficient for the number of guests. This was contrary to what the resort's pictures suggested. On the positive side, we enjoyed the convenience of the Starbucks downstairs, which saved us the trouble of driving out in search of good coffee. The resort also has a full bar, and my husband mentioned that the drinks were decent. We had dinner at the resort one night; the food was okay but nothing spectacular. Customer service was generally lackluster, though there were a few exceptions. The bellboy (a young blond man) was very sweet, recommending dinner options and even offering to drive us to a nearby restaurant in the golf cart. In the pool area, the waitress was also super sweet and attentive. Unfortunately, beyond these two individuals, we did not find the staff particularly friendly. Additionally, be aware that there is a $20 per day parking fee that was not listed in the details when I made my reservation online through Expedia. I was aware of the resort fee, but the parking fee came as an unwelcome surprise.

Dirty pool water, needs to be clean daily!! They also only have 6 umbrellas vs 52 loungers. Staff stated that it was the number 1 complaint in the pool area however management doesn’t listen and keeps telling them that they are on order

We have stayed here numerous times and we have noticed the decline in property maintenance over the years, but have had a decent experience each time. This time was totally different. The room was absolutely filthy and lacked maintenance. There was construction going on that was not reported during booking. The shower had so much scum on the glass and floor, the shampoo bottles were completely empty, the shower door had no bolt at the top of the door I'm not sure how it has stayed on, the refrigerator was dirty and did not come to temp, the toilet rocked/leaned, outdoor chairs were missing cushions yet we paid extra for the "patio". The worst part was the reading lights on bed would hang out so my husband hit his head on it and it swung over and cracked the glass of the picture next to the bed. We immediately reported this to the desk & maintenance came to remove the picture. The gentleman that came showed lots of concern about the light placement and making sure my husband was ok. He said there wouldn't be any kind of charge for the glass. Come the next day, we asked for confirmation that there was no charge and just was told we would get a call. The assistant director of housekeeping called to inform us there would be $150 charge for the picture. She showed zero concern for the safety of guests, the condition of the room or that her employees said there was no charge yet they changed their mind. What $660 a night gets you I guess.

The process to check in and purchase items from the “convenience store” takes too long to complete. No one was picking up used towels around the pool, and at breakfast time we noticed many used glasses and plates still left outside from last nights guests. Breakfast and Dinner food quality was good as well as the service. Many rooms have no scenic view. Room we stayed in was right next to a conference room, which added more noise as well as a lot of extra visitors when we were trying to relax outside.

Hotel was in a very nice location but driving back to Sedona for shopping and eating was hard with traffic. Hotel grounds were nice but had construction outside our sliding door on 1st floor. The main problem was the room cleaning service or lack of it. We were there 6 nights and only had someone come and clean the room. On the third day after calling housekeeping and the front desk, the only thing that was done was bring clean towels but did not even take the dirty towels. Terrible service starting with the management. Would not stay there again !

The check in was nice. However we were never called when our room was ready after they told us they would. The room was roomy but it has a very moldy wet smell coming from the dirty carpet. The walls by the microwave and closet were dirty like someone had spill a drink all over the walls.

This hotel isn't worth it. For the price they charge per night, you'd expect a clean room at the very least. However, upon arrival, we found a room with a dirty bedcover stained with blood. Additionally, both the bedroom and bathroom trash cans didn’t have plastic bags and were very dirty and stained. The pool area, including the lounge chairs, is quite old. There's very little shade, with only about 5 umbrellas for over 40 chairs. It's challenging to sit out there in over 100-degree weather without any shade, risking sunburn rather than a tan. Lastly, the staff. It was uncomfortable being greeted by someone who seemed to hate his job. The guy who checks you in had a horrible attitude and showed very little interest in helping. The same thing applied to the lady at the coffee shop every morning when we asked for our coffee; it was uncomfortable. It seems like having an attitude is a requirement to work there. Sadly Not worth our stay there.

This 4 star hotel lacks maintenance. First there was no one to help us with our luggae when we got in. We went in August. The AC turns off when it feels like it. AC not strong enough to get to the rooms so we left the bedroom door open, but then it would turn off in the middle of the night. Theres a $$ fee for everything, parking, food, water. The pool was dirty. Only 3 pillows were provided, no extra pillows or sheets. The property is 15 minutes from all the action.

Property is old and outdated. Seems like they're working on it but the rooms all have Woody's carpet with fresh bathrooms and paint on the walls. Our mountain view room have a view of the pool and a small window area with a view of the hotel. This is definitely not a $300 a night hotel. Maybe because the location but that's about it. Beds in the room are old humps in the middle

It is a beautiful hotel, the staff were helpful and accommodating! A short walk to the most wonderful Italian restaurant, just below the hotel. We had a clean king suite room with balcony that we very much enjoyed. We also dipped in the pool and hot tub one evening and it was a wonderful way to relax after a day of hiking.

The photos on Wotif did not truely reflect the current quality of the property. The interior and furnishings were dated. We had requested a room with a view but got a room with a view of the back roofline. Will not be recommending as value for money was very poor.

I didn't get the room I reserved..they told me it was being renovated..why did they wait till I got there to tell me. I had to go ask for sheets blankets and pillows for the sofa bed cause there weren't any in the room. They even went to look ..I guess they didn't believe me. I think they should have gave me a discount for the inconvenience.

I can only give it 1 star. We actually could not stay here. They didn't have a room with 2 beds that we had reserved 4 months prior to our stay. We were informed of this when we were checking in. We were told we were "upgraded" to a king suite....One bed and a pull out couch. Uh, nope. Doesn't work for 4 people. We stayed at The Wilde and had wonderful accomodations there.

The Hotel was very accommodating, clean, and had very polite and helpful employees. It had wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. The rooms were clean and well kept, the dinning room had plenty of food options and great room service. The hotels location was in walking distance to restaurants and shops. I enjoyed the star gazing activities and live music during dinner. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and will be returning when we visit Sedona again.

Short drive into downtown Sedona. Far enough away to not fight a crowd for brunch / dinner. Staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Felt like the staff treated you as if it was their own personal business they were operating. Definitely staying here going forward.

Room was great, location is kind of far from Sedona, I was not aware it was not located in Sedona, would have picked a different property if I was aware. Parking fee on top of the resort fee is ridiculous, you are in the middle of nowhere, why a parking fee? Overall a nice property, but far from Sedona life.

Great stay at Hilton Bell Rock. Parking is $20 per day and Shawdow rock dinner was a bit pricey. We thought breakfast at Shadow rock was better than dinner. The rooms were large, a bit dated but had great view of Bell Rock. 5 min walk to restaurants and short drive to many other dining/shopping area. Hotel has an outdoor pool but they also charge daily $35 resort fee. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

The property was lovely and so fun. I do wish their restaurant was better. It had fun activities but the food was expensive and honestly terrible. Everything else - the service and the spa were awesome. Lots of options to dine elsewhere...I would avoid their restaurant.

Really nice pool area. Suites were a little cramped. Dining options on property left a lot to be desired but there were several excellent dining options within h walking distance. 2 warnings to people considering staying here 1. $60 of additional daily fees. Resort fee, taxes and a parking fee that they did not mention at check in 2. This resort is in Oak Creek not Sedona. It is a 20 minute drive to downtown Sedona. It’s a scenic drive so it isn’t terrible.

Stayed here in 2004. Much nicer now. The golf course looked to be on great shape, but no clubs this trip :). Dining was acceptable, although not cheap. Our waitress from Uganda was perfect. Lots of plusses for consideration.
