easy to get to pool area needed tlc

No bath towels in room. One pack of coffee . Dog or cat food on carpet. Cockroach at door. Pool closed and its 95° outside. Breakfast was available.

Dated facility. Room was not spotless, but not atrocious. Gym room is jaded but has equipment enough for a quick workout. Ice machine did not work. We did not make it in time for pool (10 pm closure) nor attend breakfast. Staff was friendly.

Great location. Nice FREE breakfast with omelet & waffles. 24/7 coffee in the lobby. Shopping all around. Staff was very cordial. Clearly a well preserved older hotel. VERY CLEAN. Pool was sparkling!

You need bigger sign its hard to see to get in to it

The pool was great nice to have early hours to swim before direct sunlight. Staff very nice.

Loved my stay! The staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the pool. Breakfast was good. It was great seeing someone actually cooking the eggs for the guests. Even though the property is on a busy street, the room was quiet and peaceful. I will stay here again and recommend for visitors coming to Yuma.

The TV didn’t work until I asked someone to come and figure it out. No ice bucket although they specifically said there was one in the room. And the vent in the bathroom looked as if it had not been cleaned for quite a whike

Disgusting Hotel, Firstly the company does a poorly job cleaning the hotels after every visit. Walking into the room, you are greeted with an unbearable heat. The AC was off leaving us to turn it on then figuring out they locked the settings. Checking the beds was the best decision I made, there was leftover dirt residue under the sheets, leftover hair & stains. The floor was dirty, There was an added light on the ceiling that had wires exposed on the wall leaving a safety issue. Thinking about taking a relaxing shower after a long day? Think again. This hotel provided NO cold water! Not even from the sinks!! The bathroom was a disgusting mess with dirt on the floors and wall, bathtub had dirt still in the tub, no ventilation for the entire restroom leaving it humid with the hot water. The heat made the entire stay unbearable, it took until 4am for the room to cool down. Outside was even worse, greeted with people who were using drugs outside leaving me afraid to go outside to my car at night. I am elderly which means I need to be safe! This hotel should not even be listed under Hotels.com it is HORRIBLE! The office was empty the entire time I stayed which left me with no other choice but to stay in a disgusting room. I am very disappointed with this hotel & will NEVER come back to this place again.

The breakfast was good. Room was on the back of the Hotel next to a busy street. Very noisy most of the night. Sugar ants and cockroach in bathroom.

I informed the desk that we found a cockroach on Saturday morning. Saturday night my husband killed a big water bug. Sunday morning I found another cockroach in the tub, recorded it and informed the desk of all three and the manager Angela has not returned a call

Very clean and quiet

We stayed there for few hours. We found bugs inside the room but overall it was not a disaster. Bed and sheets were clean and bathroom too, so was ok.

Rooms were very clean

We stayed overnight for dental procedure in Los Aglodones. Location was convenient to border. Plenty of dining options close. Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Nice complimentary breakfast. Liked the early check in and late check out options

The room was clean and the was helpful.

The noise level on the outer ends of this motel is not pleasant. We were put in the outside this time and I would have preferred the inner/quieter part away from the roads and the tight parking areas. The parking spots were dangerous and even though I requested a handicap accessible room for my husband’s needs, the room was not accessible on the outside due to a large curb and limited parking ability.

Room was a little outdated but met our needs for this trip. Shower was excellent.

It worked for what we needed. This is an older property so the furnishings are dated. The beds are firm. The room could have used an additional sweep and mop. Linens and towels were crisp and clean. The included breakfast was limited but fine. Nice looking pool area. Too cold while we were there to use the pool. The property is located between to busy streets so we herd the traffic all night.

The AC unit in the room had a loud grumble sound when the compressor kicked on. Its time for the bed to be upgraded. Other than that we enjoyed the room. Was a great price. Liked that there was a counter outside the bathroom for us women to get ready at.

People great, breakfast exemplary, rooms great. But there was ZERO wifi connectivity in my room, and, worse than that, ZERO cell phone connectivity either. I had to go into the middle of the parking lot to get anything. So if you need a comfortable bed but don't need to make a call, get a text, or connect to the outside world via internet, this is your place.

The room was clean, however the outside of the Howard Johnson is horribly dirty and old. Now I know why they don't share a lot of images of the property. The TVs are old (not Smart TVs). There was no USB connection in the room and the front desk attendant couldn't help me. The A/C units are old and make a lot of noise. I had a hard time sleeping, because of the heavy traffic on 4th street.

The rooms had both a mini fridge and microwave plus a comfortable chair in the room. The rooms on the back of the building were noisy from the road right behind but the rooms facing the front of the building were considerably quieter.

Wifi sucks. Been there before, good location for my needs

The room in the facilities were excellent. It’s just the air conditioner would squeal loud squeal every half an hour to 45 minutes I’d have to get up and hit the side of the air conditioner to shut it up and the shower holder that was broke in there otherwise it was a great place.

Stay was ok, first the bathroom sink water barely came out (no big deal) I can wash my hands and brush my teeth with the tub faucet. But now I try to lay down and go to sleep and all I hear is the air conditioning running nonstop all night, long! That was a serious bummer.

We checked in late into the night but had no issues as they had someone at the desk ready to receive us. Check in was quick and efficient, room was clean and well presented. Only concern was the excessive mirrors in the room. Other than that, it was great, relaxing pit stop on our road trip. Would recommend!

When we checked in the lady was amazing! The second day we were there, we left came back a room door was open. We let the front desk know, but they said that we didn’t close the door, so nothing was missing so it could’ve been. The next morning at 6 o’clock my phone rang and it was a man who asked me was I in this room number I told him yes and he said I didn’t pay my incidentals and I need to come down and pay my credit card. I let them know that I did that, but he said he was a manager of the hotel and the person that checked me in did not do that. I felt weird about that. Something just didn’t seem right, so I go down to the front desk leaving my grandchildren in the room and I felt strange about doing that. No one was at the desk. I waited about an hour and a half and I went back down there and there was a lady there and, she says that my incidentals were paid and I told her about the phone call and the man called and she said there is no man that works for them so I asked them how could they call the phone to my room and she said yes, from one room to another room well, that didn’t make me feel good to know that there was a guess at the hotel, calling looking for my credit card knew my room number and asked me to go down and pay it. So needless to say, I checked out of the room and went to another hotel and got a refund .

Easy check in process. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our ride was late so they extended itto 12pm. Ride still not there so She let us wait in the lobby til they showed up. The rooms are compfortable with plenty of drawers, seating and counter tops. Enjoyed our stay.

We have always enjoyed our stay here. Close to Los Algodones where we go for dental work. Danielle, who checked us in, was a delight to deal with…helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient!

I stayed at this location for several nights. The staff was awesome, friendly and helpful. My room was clean and the A/C kept the room nice and cool. The rooms were older but mine was nice and clean. I plan to stay there again if I return to Yuma. One recommendation would be to cover the designated smoking areas. With the Yuma heat guests shouldn't have to sit in over 100 degrees weather with no shade to smoke. It was also nice that they served breakfast with waffles and eggs. Monica did a great job cooking the eggs and she was friendly and helpful.

The staff at the front desk were great - professional, yet also friendly - an ideal combination. The room was clean and attractively decorated; the location of the hotel was ideal for a trip to the Marine Corps base, as well as local shopping, and the price was reasonable - just right for my short trip to Yuma.

Stayed for a week due to a family member having surgery. Room was decent, refrigerator that was in the room was nice and big. Parking on the back side of the hotel was hard to get at the end of the day. Breakfast could have some more options beside bread, packaged muffins and cereal. Restaurants, Starbucks and Dutch Bros within walking distance.

Very noisy location especially on the back side of the building. Traffic noise kept me awake most of the night. Never going back to this place

Lots of places to shop with a block. The staff is always friendly. Great breakfast with waffle , eggs etc. Rooms are clean and the place is quiet. Lots of parking.

Lovely staff, computer in lobby if needed. Rooms always comfortable, mini refrigerator & microwave in each room. Lots of restaurants and shopping in the area. Very convenient to the airport!

There was definitely mixed reviews about this hotel. Hotel staff were friendly. The room was a bit disappointing. Our room was not cleaned very well; frig had drinks from previous occupant. There was an oily substance on the night stand. Our TV did not work, but that was rectified by the front staff. Our room was on the noisy side of the street and it was noisy; traffic all night. It was loud enough to disturb our sleep. If we would have stayed another night, would have definitely wanted a quieter room.

It was very clean and not run down. It was located close to every place I wanted to go. The one negative was that the door to my room was about 30 ft. from a very busy 4-lane main street and the loud traffic noise was constant

Made to order eggs was a nice touch

The staff was friendly. Easy access off highway. Location good. Some construction going on. Two story no elevators. Walkways lit but not stairwells. Bathroom clean. Room has microwave,refrigerator, coffee maker,hair dryer,iron and board. Tv worked great. Beds had clean sheets. Comfortable beds.washer and dryer in walkways.parking varies on where your room is located. Breakfast is cold cereal, fruits ,packaged mini muffins, oatmeal, granola bars. Nothing hot. AC worked but a little noise.room smelled clean.

Always amazing. Clean rooms, close to where we needed to go. The breakfast service was more than others. Typical cereal, yogurt... but, there is a staff member cooking eggs to order. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Yuma.

I really liked the rooms and the way it was set up. But breakfast was poor

Breakfast was very minimal cold cereal. Disappointing compared to the quality of the room.

This was a good deal, it had a fantastic mural in the lobby. Breakfast was made of a few freshly cracked eggs (made by a person not a machine) and a really good waffle iron. There was toast and jam, and cereal. I really liked that this wasn't a cookie cutter hotel breakfast, it felt more genuine. The staff was very kind. The mattress wasn't great, but the room was clean. For the price, this was a great value.

The room was clean and nothing special. Pool looked nice but too chilly outside to use it. My issue was with the included breakfast. This had to be the worst i have ever had. 3 choices. Cold cereal, instant oatmeal or packaged muffins. It was something to eat but they could do a lot better.
