The place was ok,one elevator was not working,ac unit made a lot of noise.The room was fine.We seem to be their at wrong time a bus load of people came and we had long wait to get on the one elevator.Otherwise are stay was okay.

We had a pleasant stay except for Saturday. After winning our auto race we were looking forward to celebrating with a glass of wine or 2 of Chardonnay. For some reason the bar was closed on a Saturday night??? We were even willing to buy a bottle from the snack bar area, but it was completely out of Chardonnay.

This hotel is good. We visit family in Bakersfield and stay here. Pool hasn’t been open both times we’ve visited. Which was this year and last. Which was a bummer and no one told us about it. This last time we stayed the toilet set wasn’t even fastened to the bowl. I called the front desk and they fixed it right away.

It was really great! It was clean and comfortable. The bistro downstairs was tasty and the service was great! The only drawback was the indoor pool was closed and ice machines, on both floors I checked, were not operating.

Upon checking into our room there was an off putting smell! I could not stand the Oder! It smells of urine!! I went to the desk and cry what was on… they were ext accompanied! Room chat imo! Perfect new room! Ahhh everything just right!

Everything was decent except for the multiple stains on the hotel room floor carpet, nasty rough shower floor, and the mystery yellow stains that were under the mattress which they had flipped over to hide!

Bedspreads/duvet cover on bed was old, with snags and tears. Room was very clean and convenient to use .. although water pressure on 4th floor was almost nonexistent. Someone down the hall had a small dog that yapped while the owners were out for the evening.

This property was clean but definitely not staying here again. The beds are so stiff. The pillows are all different sizes as if they just fill the pillows with extra cushion. Also the walls are super thin you can hear EVERYTHING. The doors shut so hard and sound so loud. I was constant woken up when someone would close their door.

I like that many trees around the parking lot. The bedroom is perfect for our needs. It has microwave, fridge, sofa, desk and office chair. The room size is large. Pool is too small though.

The hotel was clean and our bed linens smelled great. However, the walls are paper thin and we could hear everything our neighbors in the next room said. They were a travel ball team of teen boys who talked loudly until 3 am. Our room was a little stuffy so we turned on the A/C which had an obnoxious rattling & whistling sound so we didn’t get any sleep which was frustrating because we drove 4 hours to get there for our kids track meet the next morning. We didn’t arrive until after 10 pm and were too exhausted to complain so we suffered through it but this was definitely one our worse hotel experiences. Also, there were no bath towels in the room at all. We called to request them and were told that only one person was working so we had to come down to get them.

Checked in on the 23rd and asked for a water, I was told “water was only for Hilton honors members and I am a member however since I didn’t make my reservation directly I guess it didn’t qualify, he still gave me the water. The room was 328, I didn’t have a dog however the front desk agent asked me several times before giving me what I believe to be a pet friendly room 328 - I took picture of how nasty the room was. I used Lysol to wipe down everything and was appalled at the rest room, the bedding was torn up all

The Hilton Garden Inn Bakersfield was as expected. Looked like any other Hilton Garden Inn as to be expected. The check in was quick for us but with only Devon Cherry on the desk a line quickly formed. Devon was excellent and we felt welcome. The stay was nice the room was great. Thought I booked a king bed, but the queens were good. Nothing to cry about. Hotel was full on Sunday but still relatively quiet. Staff was great. Thank you to Devon, Liz, and Diana for taking care of us for this stay.

Staff was friendly & very accommodating with my check-in time. Also my father went to the hospital hours away & they let me cancel the extra day of my reservation so I could head home Saturday afternoon. Bed was comfy & cool. Room was clean & the shower had excellent warm/hot water temperature & strong water pressure.

It was usual Hilton except no one told us that there would be no cleaning services unless explicitly requested. There were no towel racks and the wet towels had to be hung over the edge of the tub. The towels were not replaced and we had to ask for dry towels. The shower had no non-slip mats and there was only one safety bar. They are obviously trying to cut costs and those of us staying more than one night had to ask for basic hotel cleaning services. The mirror was nice and big but its side light strips overwhelmed the reflection. ;

My elderly parents and I were looking forward to a restful stay. Unfortunately, a construction crew started their noisy crane right outside our window at 6:15a and they began putting up ladders and tarps right over our windows. They were yelling, banging equipment, and noisy way too early in the morning and right outside our rooms. In addition to this, we heard from another family that their car was broken into that evening in the hotel parking lot. Overall, it was a very disappointing stay.

The Inn was located in a quiet area with other Inns/Hotels nearby. Reception was very nice, friendly and was quick to check us in. Room was clean and a good size. I was overall happy with our stay.

It was ok. Our room barely had shampoo and conditioner was completely out. I try to travel as light as possible so this is something I don't want to worry about. The additional fee for breakfast is also why I will not be returning.

Check in went really well and the room was nice. The bed as way too firm. Had to ask (twice) for the front desk to deliver and extra comforter to lay on top of, just make it possible to sleep the second night. The 16.95$ for something to have something for breakfast should have been encluded. Yogurt, or a piece of fruit is a charge. Not pleased. We’ll find another hotel for the event when we return next here. It won’t be here

They had a substandard shower with virtually no pressure whatsoever, and the restaurant was closed. Most people would just say jump in your car I get it however I'm on the road with an RV and unhooking my toad vehicle is not all that easy since I'm handicapped and my handicap also kept me from walking to a restaurant
