Nice room. Quiet and clean. Bed was nice also. Heated indoor pool and jacuzzi, although jacuzzi was not hot enough. Free breakfast was nice too. TV system would be my only gripe… IF I ever need to stay in this area again I would stay here.

Our check in was quick and easy. The elevators were not working during our stay but that was okay. We were only staying 1 night and and minimal luggage.

Elevator was broken Pool/Spa area was unavailable due to broken equipment Furniture was ripped/torn. Poorly maintained facility.

We were looking forward to staying here again since we had a positive stay before. Unfortunately when we checked in we were informed that the elevator was out of service. Then driving 4 hours to arrive and finding out that the spa was out of service was very disappointing.

Good experience. Everything was fine. The hot tub was not hot. Warm water. Pool not heated. Excellent customer service.

This hotel has easy access to Highway 99, with restaurants and a Starbucks nearby. It is clean, well maintained and the staff is friendly. However, neither the elevator or the coffee machine in the breakfast were working. The elevator was not a big problem, but NO coffee??? Of course, I went to Starbucks!

Broken elevator and ice machine. Had to switch rooms due to dirty sheets. Keycards had to be reprogrammed each day.

My excellent stay started with a warm greeting and smile from Jordan who checked me in. She was personable and had wonderful sense of humor. Room was clean and had good amenities. AC worked great and wasn’t one of those dreadful noisy ones. I enjoyed the indoor pool and jacuzzi. The only downside is that I left too early (4:45 am) to enjoy the free breakfast, but that’s on me (was driving to Vegas in the morning). But was still able to get some hot coffee for the road. I’d stay here again.

Check-in was great. Quick and I was able to get our two rooms close together. The rooms seemed clean and comfortable. Noise was average because of a consistent "dinging" noise in the hallway. When I turned down my bed, things went south. The sheets were dirty and wrinkled as if they had been slept in, and a couple of the pillows had brown stains. The front desk told me to come down and pick up replacement sheets, which I did. She was friendly, but offered no apology. After remaking my bed, I opened the sofa bed for my niece and discovered there was no bedding other than a mattress cover, so I went to the front desk again. The staff person was less friendly this time. I asked for bedding, she brought me sheets and a blanket, but no pillow. I asked for a pillow, and she got me one. I returned to the room to make up the bed and discovered she had not given me a bottom sheet. Went downstairs to the front desk for the third time and told her there was no bottom sheet. By now, she was not at all friendly. She said they had no bottom sheets for the sofa bed. I insisted I needed something. She said she could give me a king sized sheet but it would be too big. I felt she was trying to dissuade me from taking the sheet. I insisted and she finally went to get the sheet. We used it. Although the sofa bed was very uncomfortable, at least my niece had a sheet to sleep on. I would have given four stars if not for the awful customer service/bedding experience.

Cockroaches found in bathroom

Very clean room, very nice breakfast food, amazing staff, quick check in, awesome dog potty area, safe parking lot, clean and well maintained pool/hot tub area and wonderful well stocked coffee/tea/hot coco bar.

The hotel was pretty decent. However, we saw a cockroach in the bethroom which was really bad because I was not expecting it.

Very clean, quiet and comfortable

I have just checked in and when to go to bed when I noticed blood on the sheets - gross. I rang reception who did change the room. When I showed her the photo of the blood she didn’t seem interested. Very disappointed and won’t stay here again. La Quinta need to look at the housekeeping and address the situation as urgent.

Everything was fine up until the moment we got up to leave. We had an early check out so I guess we surprised the bugs as well! Several roaches spotted around the room and wall!

My stay was awful. The bed was extremely uncomfortable—I barely slept a wink. The bathroom was disgusting, with a half-dead roach crawling around. Completely unacceptable. I will never stay here again.

The swimming pool loooked sus as it had a layer of something floating around on it. Not inviting at all! Our sheets were stained and when asked for them to be changed we were asked to move rooms instead bc there was no help other then the attendant at the desk..

I can easily hear voices and footsteps from the next room. In particular, conversations in the hallway are heard clearly, which makes me feel like the walls and doors are quite thin. Other than that, everything is perfect.

Great hotel but it was very loud inside the room due to the fact it had an inside pool and it’s open until 10:00. Kids and adults were playing around and yelling all the way until then and we were on the 2nd floor and prevented us from sleeping

Hotel was great. Convenient location. Very quiet. I felt safe even being alone. The only thing wrong was the AC. It didn't cool off the room as much as I wanted. The fan wouldn't stay on. Couldn't sleep with the room being so warm.

Everything was what you expected at a chain hotel. The outside was nicely kept. The inside of the hotel and room was clean and pretty well maintained. The only reason I marked comfort 2 stars was the mattress. It was the worse mattress I’ve slept on across all the hotel chains.

They pump the strong perfume smell into the rooms. I have a headache condition and many people are very sensitive to smells. It was a miserable night. I asked to be moved, but they said they were sold out. I also imagine they do this in all the rooms. Please put this as a warning to those with medical conditions. So frustrating. :(

Room looks okay. Walls thin. Room next to us could hear talking. Was hard to sleep. Asked if could do anything about it. Nothing happened. Tv hard to find channels no guide. Breakfast was good.

Was pleased with most everything, except the TV. Although it had good station selection, the remote and related navigation was difficult.

Had an issue with my room and staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. They didn’t hesitate to offer me another room.

Staff are amazing. Very friendly and interact very well with your pet. Very pet friendly place and lots of pet-parents pick it.

The location was good, at the northern end of Bakersfield. The staff were good, I had no negative or off putting interactions with them. They quickly addressed an issue regarding a very noisy person next to my room. The negative is while I had prepaid they charged me again and didn't check me out and charged me for that day. I discovered this when I got home. I spoke to the manager and he immediately apologized and addressed the problem. I expect this was an anomaly. I was very happy with how quick and responsive the manager was in addressing this. One phone call was all it took. He did what he said he would do and within the time frame he had stated. I would stay there again.

We were sent a link to check in and upload a photo of ID and pre auth credit card. It said we’d just retrieve our keys on arrival. The girl at the front desk insisted she must make another copy and I said no and asked for a manager. She told me we need it because we can’t see it once it’s in the system! After a conversation with the mgr - we did not. They looked at my iD to verify it was me and gave me the keys. We made our reservation prepaid 3 weeks ago. Requested 1st floor due to mobility issues and prior history at this hotel with elevator breaking. On the check in link requested 1st floor again. On arrival Nope. This also happened last stay so I ask why do you ask guests if you don’t read or honor? We were in room 201. If not for the herd of kids jumping for hours a time above us, The room was nice. The sofa bed though is impossible to sit comfortable on as it sinks in and is hard to get out of. Please replace these awful pieces as in a suite it’s where we watch tv! There was a new employee in training 2/13 afternoon. He’s a great hire, friendly and helpful. There’s a new breakfast girl and she was friendly and kept on top of making sure there was plenty of food till 9am. Such an improvement! There were also new workers in the later day and they were very friendly. No one was smoking at the entrance, so appreciate. Overall improvements enhanced our stay. Don’t stay on 2nd floor. You’ll get no rest. Please do better with requests.

Property was close to freeway and places to eat. Bonus that Starbucks was right outside the front door.

Very serviceable motel. The room and the facility were clean and quiet and the staff friendly and helpful. The location is close to the airport and the 99 freeway, but not noisy in the least. The breakfast buffet was good. I would recommend this hotel.

I stay at this La Quinta when I come to see relatives in the Bakersfield area. It’s easy access to the places I’m going to.

Person at front desk was very friendly and helpful. Actual room smelled of strong orange air freshener … it eventually gave me a headache. Shower had absolutely no pressure - not enough to wash the soap out of my hair. Plenty of hot water - but water literally dripped out of shower head. Breakfast was limited as they did not put very much food out , had to ask for yogurt , bacon and eggs ..

I like this La Quinta a lot It a great location right off the 99 in North Bakersfield Staff is excellent, breakfast is fantastic Gym is really good, found a great running route for a nice 3 miler I will stay here again for sure Highly recommend

Very clean and comfortable. The beds and the pillows provided a comfortable sleeping experience. The breakfast in the morning was the best I have ever experienced at any hotel.

Are breakfast this terrible? I wouldn't consider it to be breakfast. The egg were running the bacon. Look like cardboard.
