The view of the lake is peaceful quiet beautiful and full view from our private balcony facing the lake. All of the rooms had this. From the photos I assumed a sandy beach. Nope, docks with boat slips. I would love to attach photos: the window had the curtain rod removed, so no curtain. The sliding door curtain was threadbare with holes for light to shine through. We signed a paper agreeing to pay $75 if we didn’t do the dishes or had trash not in the can. Dishes? 2 mugs and a coffeepot, which had coffee filter from last use. Dish soap or cleaning rags? Nope. 2 sweet n low, 1 coffee packet and 2 creamers. There were shampoo, soaps and face wash in the bath. The breakfast? Prepared coffee and an office drawer with oatmeal packs and budget granola bars. In the afternoon after a morning of hiking and a museum, someone was unlocking our door with a key. No knock. No “Housekeeping” announcement. I opened the door and asked if I could help them. A man with a clipboard, taken by surprise quickly asked if there was anything we needed. I, also surprised, asked for more towels which he provided. Each night I received a few more bites, not mosquito, which we didn’t see any, on my face, neck and ankles. There was a working microwave and mini-fridge. AC? Not working. 2 box fans and a small heater fan on the hearth of the fireplace. Whoever rated this place 7-10 is beyond my understanding.

Stayed 2 nights

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had and I advise people to stay far away from this place. I booked one of the "suites" they had listed for a birthday weekend and made the 2 hour trip from Los Angeles only to be disappointed. The room looked nothing like the photos advertised,it was filthy as well with cobwebs all over the ceiling, hair and blood stains all over the bedding. The bathroom was a disaster as well with the shower covered in mildew and grime. When I went to speak to someone regarding the state of the room I was met with attitude by the manager of the property. She was screaming at me on the phone and refused to send anyone over to clean or offer anything for the major inconvenience. I was then told by an employee that this manager doesn't clean any of the rooms and that the property is infested with bed bugs and she is fully aware of these issues and doesn't care. I had to sit on a chat with customer service for about 2 hours to try and get a refund as the manager was trying to deny a refund to me. It ruined the entire trip and I'll be making sure to leave this review anywhere I can do that people don't make the mistake of wasting your time and money on this dump.

Loved the view, very beautiful. No hot water in bathroom sink. Only one towel for two people. Balcony had tons of cobwebs that could be easily swept away by housekeepers. A little cramped, but still enjoyed the stay.
