Very nice. Comfortable room. We didn't see much of the hotel as we were busy and didn't have time. The biggest issue we had was PARKING! Not a good situation. We paid $45 for parking - which was quite a ways from entrance (at least we couldn't find an easy way to access). Then no one at hotel told us we needed to keep our room card to leave the parking (after checkout) so we were stuck paying $20 more!!! $65 for parking because no one told us how to manage this?! I think this much for parking is awful anyway, but the extra amount was unfair.

We went for a one night stay to use the pool and relax. Was disappointed that there was black algae all around the pool and it got on my bathing suit. I never had this happen at a Westin. The staff was very attentive and took care of the situation promptly.

Great location, close to big mall with lots of restaurants around and only 7 minutes away from airport. Friendly staff, smooth check in and late checkout since we have late flight. Comfortable bed, spacious room but heated pool was not warm enough for swimming during winter time, no hot tub for four stars hotel.

Westin was great. No issues. Parking was ridiculous. $45 for overnight through Westin. The overnight rate for the structure was $20!!! What? Also, it was so empty. Hardly any cars there, so doesn’t seem to be a nuisance to park. I usually choose a hotel with parking in mind…they got me on this one. Great rate for the hotel - not so much for the parking.

The rooms appear to be recently remodeled. New bathroom. Very comfy room. Was there for conference and everything was well organized and for a big event the food was great.

We liked the location. We asked to go from level 3 to level 7. What a big difference in the view and we enjoyed it immensely. I loved the softness of the bed. The only thing that was disappointing was the parking. It was not on the property and we had to park in a parking structure across the street. Walking back and forth spoiled the stay for me.

The property itself was clean and what you would expect for a Westin. The rooms however are not very noise proof, all sound transmits and is disruptive in the morning. Besides this there are not enough staff to check in and out hotel guests; only one person which can lead to wait times. Do not charge anything to your room as items are not charged correctly and then the reception will say they lost your check and don't show you an itemized list of what you actually consumed. Double check all records as on two occasions we were overcharged for incorrect items.

Check in was long clerks not friendly. I booked hotel room online with tub was given room next to loud noise of machinery. At 9:00 pm !call desk said she would sent up someone? I I asked for another room. Very inconvenient! Next room no tub old linens . Will not return!

I drove three hrs got here at 4:00 pm only to be told there was no queen rooms available.. I asked how is there no rooms I paid in full for my reservation for two queen beds.. check in is at 3:00 pm I'm an hour after that and there is no room available.. so I questioned what is a reservation for.. and asked for a manager which was Israel who then told me I could stay somewhere else.. what kind of customer service is that ? No empathy after all they are at fault not me.. how does a customer pay for a reservation and then not have one .. israel was rude and snobby.. to suggest I go somewhere else what an inconvenience.. why should I have to look last minute for another room .. when I paid .. sad and unfortunate.. I will never stay or recommend this hotel to anyone.. unprofessional disrespectful people they have as staff!

The check in was very slow. Only one at the counter and waited for more almost 10 minutes and 5-6 people queued up, no acknowledgment from the first person, only then the 2nd person showed up, took the guy 5 minutes to boot up the computer. Not efficient.

this westin is a hidden gem. great food, great service. you can walk across the bridge to south coast plaza. the rooms are simple nice and clean.the brakfast and the food in the lobby is good. i am happy that room service is back in service. overall great hotel it will not dissapoint.

Very nice hotel. We stayed for a conference and everyone from the door to the desk staff were great. An extra special acknowledgment goes to the food and beverage staff who took excellent care of our large group over several days.

Great Staff. No laundry on site, you have to pay to park during your stay. Rooms walls are paper thin and I heard the neighbors all night long and the elevators all night. $38 for a vodka and redbull at the bar.

Solo female traveler - very safe location and really lovely views from the hotel. Front desk & valet staff are so kind and accommodating. Tv didn’t work - engineering came up and fixed it immediately. Ordered in room dining and debated ordering a second meal it was delicious. Would stay here over & over and recommend to any of my friends.

The west and south coast plaza was an amazing property was super comfortable beds and large disabled access rooms. There is valet parking as well as self service parking. There is also a Starbucks and snack shop inside the hotel, as well as a Restaurant. This hotel is very full service and the bellhops will take your luggage up to your room and help you load your car when you leave. Very comfortable. Stay in a very clean environment. I would definitely stay here again.

While a bit dated, it's conveniently located and quite a large hotel next to John Wayne Airport. We had business in Irvine and South Coast Plaza which was literally a bridge walk over in the next complex. While we didn't have time to enjoy the pool, it looked well kept. Breakfast was standard fare but a bit steep in prices. Overall, friendly concierge and staff. The little convenient shop was great for water/snacks.
