Overall a pretty decent stay. Only complaints is parking is a little weird with a decent walk to the rooms and the bathroom needs more ventilation and a new shower rod. The location is top notch for the Redwood National Parks. Stayed here two nights and it worked out fine for us.

Fair price, good proximity to the harbor (eats), staff was great but small thing–no chairs on the ocean view patio and the sliding glass door was a team lift to open. Breakfast had decent options which was nice.

The pictures showed a kitchenette and pool. That was not what we booked. There was no pool and the website was confusing. Also the building needs repair . No variety in breakfast offerings.

This hotel was just ok. It's older and could definitely use some updating. We booked it for the ocean view, and while you could technically see the water, it was not worth the price we paid. We did appreciate the little gym, but we will stay somewhere else next time we're in Crescent City.

This hotel is great for a one night stay! The staff was extremely friendly. There isn’t an elevator so if you’re on the second floor you have to haul your bags up.

The toilet didn't flush, the soap tray in the shower still had soap remnants in it, there was mildew around the shower handle, it smelled like stinky pet, and just generally felt unclean. We didn't even end up staying because we found a much better option. We couldn't get our money back, though, because we paid through a third party (Expedia).

The evening staff were very nice, however, the room was dirty. We bought some disinfectant wipes and cleaned every surface and they were filthy. After showering and just walking to the bed to put shoes and socks on, feet were completely dirty from the floor. We actually tried to find another hotel for the second night but everything was booked. Will never stay there again.

Sliding door does not lock (i.e., anyone can enter the unit at any time. This is a serious safety and security issue. Drip, drip, drip. All night long. Condensate from the 2nd floor unit dripping loudly onto our cooling unit.All night long!!!! Door doesn’t close properly. Dirty. When was the unit cleaned? I can go on. Why don’t you visit in person. It’s obvious that no one has performed an inspection in recent times. I’m 70 years of age. I’ve stayed at many, many places over my lifetime. This is the absolute worst. You should consider removing your name and closing it.

Walked into a dirty room which was unfortunate. There was previous trash left behind and noticed couple stains on our bed sheets. We didn't want to go through the hassle of looking elsewhere, so we stayed.

Awful experience. Expedia should not list. Dirty, plumbing was broke. Had to move rooms after hauling all of our belongings up flights of stairs. We had to cover the bed in the second room in towels and used our own blankets to get a few hours of rest before we drove on. There was mold, sand in the beds, what we hope was mud on the sheets. Dog hair on the sheets. Screen door was propped up against the frame. Terrible! 😣 I have pictures if required

We left within moments upon arrival due to a huge mold stain. I left a review on yelp and the owner responded stating that it is a coastal town so properties are prone to mold. I’ve stayed at many properties along the Oregon coast and have never found mold. This was neglected for a long time, it was easy to see and had clearly been festering a while.

Very friendly staff in a typical coastal town. Rooms have a limited view of the ocean and harbor but adorable courtyard. Two good restaurants in walking distance and very clean room! My daughter and I felt safe there alone.

The location and service were excellent. The stairways were a bit narrow for carrying up luggage. No comfortable chair to relax in, just a desk chair, but the view was lovely and we had everything we needed.

Overall a pretty mediocre stay, the property is pretty rundown. There was a big space between the door and the door frame, letting cold air into the suite, and that allowed the door to rattle loudly in the wind. The tub faucet had a perpetual drip.

For some reason the staff kept trying to open my door overnight. Only reason why I believe it was the staff was because they used a master key to unlock my door but luckily I had the door stopper hooked up.

I want to start by saying that the front desk person, named John, was extremely helpful and service was excellent. The location was par for the course. There is a really good restaurant one or two blocks away. It is an older hotel but I feel like the staff was doing the best they could with what they have.

We missed our stay because there was no one at the front desk we call while there in the lobby, no answer we waited for about 35min, still no one came, now they wont refund me my money saying it was my fault because I showed up after 10, Never ever will I make reservations with this hotel ever again!!

Staff was wonderful. Just beware that checking in before 3pm is not possible. Pictures on website make this hotel look nicer than it actually is. For the price per night we expected a nicer hotel. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Bed was not comfortable and made a lot of noise. Housekeeping walked in the room without knocking at 9am when we were changing. Heater would not turn off automatically, had to get up and turn it off.

This hotel stole almost 400 dollars from us! We had a TERRIBLE experience with this hotel, staff, and manager. We are still struggling with a financial issue over a month after our stay. We were supposed to stay two nights back in June. I called about three days before to confirm that they would have a late/after hours check-in available for us. They said yes. I called the day of to triple check and we were told once again that someone would be there at midnight when we were due to arrive. Sure enough, when we arrived, no one was there. We had to get a more expensive hotel. When we went to the Quality Inn the next day, the manager told us that both nights would be comped. However, they still accidentally charged a no-show fee of almost 200 dollars. I had to call almost a dozen times over a month before someone finally told us the fee would be refunded. After two more weeks, it still was not refunded. I had to call several more times before FINALLY getting to talk to the manager who said he would refund it. Instead of refunding it, he charged the exact same fee AGAIN. This hotel owes us almost 400 dollars! We had to finally just dispute the claims on our credit card, and it's been a nightmare. So unprofessional and WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND.

With respect to the friendly young lady who checked us in, this hotel is not safe in anyway. It is in a sketchy area of town and incredibly rundown. There were people behind the motel with a sliding door off a room and smoking something. People going through the dumpster outside. I went out to get something out of my car and there was a man in a hoodie smoking right behind me looking in my car. We left and drove to Grants Pass. Highly recommend not staying here.

People were prowling the area to steal from cars in the motel parking lot. The room’s bath floor was dirty and water tempt for shower was inaccurate. Nobody was at the desk during our check out time so we and another guest left our check out cards on the desk.

Although you can tell it’s an older property, the room smelled and felt clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The big screen tv in the room was a pleasant surprise as most hotels have much smaller screens. This was a nice place to lay our heads for the night before heading out to the Redwoods. The continental breakfast was what one would expect-the waffle was good, was the biscuit even real? Was the egg actually an egg?

This is not a bad hotel and it has potential. The pictures of the hotel are deciving. It's not as good as it looks. The room was clean but it needs updating. It looks like repairs have been done but they were mostly cosmetic. During the breakfast they did run out of some of the items . The hotel has potential if the would concentrate on some of the little things.
